Jacks was wonderful, although he was just packing up my stuff he greeted me very friendly and had a huge smile on his face. While my cashier Justin, well didn’t even bother saying hi, or even look at me. Nor tell me my total :(. But thanks jacks !!! For such a great service.

I have been coming here a long time and I know it’s no one who works here’s fault at all. But the lines at this store is now bogus and a nightmare. Trust me don’t come here. i won’t be anymore

Their prices are decent. Don’t care for the quality of meats. You need to check your receipt whenever you shop here. They have a tendency to overcharge or double charge and wont give you anything for their mistake.

Albertson’s is pretty much the only game in town these days, so what else can I rate it? I don’t want to be banned!
Actually, I have found their produce, bakery items, and salads to be excellent. They also have a lot of specials, so no matter what you need you can usually find a deal in that category.

I still like this supermarket however, have to give it –1 because they aren’t well stocked with bagels in their bakery.

The store is good and the employees are friendly and helpful. But they lose two stars for a lame craft beer promotion. They offer a «build you own six-​pack» of Craft Beer. However, many of the beers offered are not, by definition, craft beers since they are owned by one of the major macrobrewers. Examples– Rolling Rock, Kona, Blue Moon, Widmer, RedHook, Third Shift. In San Diego, we can do better.

Just because I bring in my own bag to shop with doesn’t mean I’m going to run out the door with unpaid for groceries. I Will not returned because I don’t want to be harassed again. Bad management

As much as I to enjoyed shopping at this store it has now become clear that they truly do not care about their customers. I have a serious and deadly allergy to latex they have refused to stop using latex balloons on their display. Sometimes these balloons are not noticeable until I turn a corner and almost walk into them. The manager tonight totally made me feel like she has no consideration for someone else’s life. Latex allergies can be deadly and balloons release latex particles in the air. I can be 10 feet away and have a reaction. When someone has that type of reaction it should be taken seriously. I will not shop somewhere like a party store because I know they will most likely have latex balloons on display. There should be no reason I have to live in fear going to the grocery store.

This place has gone down hill over the past year. The workers there are still super sweet and great at what they do. But who ever there purchaser is needs to pay better attention to what’s selling and whats not. There are 4 main products I would purchase under a weekly basis. I alone probably cleared their inventory on these products weekly I purchased so much. They stopped selling ALL of them. White Lipton bottled tea, powdered Chai tea, frozen Banquet chicken and actually the list goes on. The premade sandwiches in the deli never have lettuce on them and strangely always taste old. The cakes in the bakery taste frozen (although beautifully decorated). So sadly I now drive out of my way to avoid this place. To bad. The floor workers are awesome.

This is a smaller and older Albertson’s, not to mention not organized in a manner most Albertson’s are, but it still provides all the essentials one would find in one. On this visit, I picked up some ground turkey that was on sale for $ 2.99, two packs in fact, and a loaf of Home Pride Bread that was only $ 1.79 per loaf. Finally, they had a decent price on yellow potatoes at .99 per pound so I picked up a few for later use. (

The items were scattered about the store at different locations so I had to traverse the many shoppers to locate them. Once I got to the register, the lady was pretty nice but she forgot to give me my $ 20 cash back I put into the machine, so I had to wait until a manager stepped in to correct the situation.
To make a long story short, the manager was very nice and took care of it right away, and I got what I needed at pretty good prices too.

I’m not fond of this place completely. Honestly, I feel like the products are satisfactory as well as the cleanliness/​layout of the store. But the people here are sooo less than friendly. I cant even count how many times they’ve acted annoyed if I had a question or needed help with something. This happens every time. I’ve only encountered one polite person and it is a younger girl in the deli who is always polite. The guys in the meat section are okay. They are not exactly rude, but kinda lacking in customer service. I guess at least they don’t act annoyed which is nice. Even managers here are rude! I live right across the street so I tend to split my shopping between this place and Vons depending on whether or not I’m in a hurry or feel like walking. Mostly I use the self check out now and try not to interact with staff anymore. I would give the store itself 4 stars but customer service gets one star. So I’m averaging it to two.

Never had a problem really… I do notice its kinda hard to find someone to help unless your up front at the registers and in meat department there is always a wait or the person back there is in the back not paying attention to the people waiting. One thing that really busy me is they got rid of the rewards card and now have «every day savings» that’s a joke!!! The sale price is nothing close to the past sale price when you actually had to put your phone number in. They have definitely gotten more pricey.

Bought a 24 pack of Nestle Pure Life bottled water from here. The water tasted like it came from a garden hose. There was a very plastic tasting ting to it.
When I went to inform the manager of the issue (9÷8÷2014 @ ~15:45) he was very rude. He told me first off, «You can keep whatever you want.» I replied, «You don’t seen to understand, I don’t want this water. I wouldn’t serve it to my dog». He then rolled his eyes, huffed and puffed, and started taking the bags I brought with the water in and proceeded to shove the cashier’s tiny trash can full of 24 water bottles.
He told me that they’re all probably going to taste that way so he would rather me get a different brand of water for the exchange. I like the brand and price of the Nestle water. It usually tastes very good, warm or cold, and never has a plastic taste to it when I bring it home from the store.
I got the feeling he was thinking something along the lines of, «Who in the hell returns water?» The manager seemed very annoyed to have to come down to the front of the store from his office to come deal with such a «petty» issue. It must have been near the end of his shift, and he was already clocked-​out.
To me it seems like he believed that my concerns over the taste of the water were null and void. That I should just shut up and drink it!
Another disgusting plastic tasting 24 case of Nestle Pure Life bottled water, and a very rude and disheartening experience is what I brought home that day.
If I found razor blades in a box of cereal would they brush off my concerns as just one bad box? After my experience with this bottled water return, yes, I believe they would just brush it off as one bad box.
This manager has no concern whatsoever for public health or the satisfaction of Albertsons’ customers. I will definitely avoid sharing my patronage with this store.

This review is for the bakery department. We always come here to get picture cakes done as this is the only place we know in the area that does them at a reasonable price.
The last time I had one done, I was helped by Lisa who seemed rather perturbed by my presence. I had questions and she just didn’t want to give me the proper answers. Oh well. As long as the cake gets made, I’m fine.
By the way, it’s nice that this place has a pretty good turnaround. You place an order the day before and they’ll have it available the next day.
So anyways, I’d placed my order a good two days in advance. The morning I stop by to pick up my cake, I ask an employee (not Lisa) about my order, and she has no idea what’s going on! She looks around, asks another employee if he knows about the order, and… AAAAAHHH! He doesn’t know about it either! OH MY GOD DID LISA SABOTAGE MY ORDER?! IT’S MY SISTER’S BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!
The lady then saunters over to the deli section on the opposite side of the building, seemingly wanting to distance herself from the situation. But the guy who was left to fend for himself looked around again… and then he emerged from the shadows CARRYING A BOX.
MY CAKE!!! It got made after all!

The cake was wonderful. Marble with cream cheese filling and pink piping all around. A bit on the sweet side, but everyone liked it.
As with the other picture cakes we’ve ordered from them, this one didn’t disappoint. There could’ve been a snafu along the way courtesy of the employees, but eventually, all’s well that ends well.

Ok, so, I moved within walking distance of this store, so I’m pretty much forced to shop here. It has gotten better since my last review. We have some favorite employees, like matt the bagger (I think that’s his name. He leaves quotes of the day in the bags, and it’s the highlight of my visit each time.) they’re more expensive than Von’s, so I still do some shopping there, but they have self checkout. So, I’ll keep walking over.

The best Albertsons! The staff knows me and my family because we are there soooooo much! Lol. It’s clean, and nicely arranged. The foot is always fresh and of great quality. Ordered my daughters Hello Kitty birthday cake here and they made the cake perfectly and it was stunning!!!

This place isn’t the greatest, but it isn’t the worst either!
The staff is a hit and miss, and many of the times I needed to find something, I couldn’t find a staff member to help me.
Most of the time I can find alfalfa sprouts and the spicy sprouts, but up until recently I was charged 3.79 or 3.99 (when rung up that’s what it was, even if I told the lady it wasn’t the price it said) and now it’s 1.79 I think. I am super mad about that still! I buy them weekend and this who time I was charged more than double it’s actual price! Every time I would tell someone and he/​she would simply tell me that he/​she couldn’t do anything about it!
I do like that they randomly have that buy one get one on certain meat selections. It’s also nice that they have the 30% wine sales a lot. but compared to many other albertsons. they don’t have that much of a selection.
They have random sales on products, which is nice. They produce is fresh for the most part, although sometimes the fruit can be bruised (like many of them in one batch, until they restock).
They have self-​check out which I love. but I hate when someone isn’t always there so sometimes I have to wait for maybe five minutes (it doesn’t sound like a long time, but it is when everyone else is in line behind you and you are simply standing there feeling awkward as ever) in order for them to clear that I don’t want to bag some items or that I am over 21 and can buy alcohol. Yes I know that you definitely should be cleared or anyone could just purchase the alcohol through self-​check out. but at least have someone there who could authorize me right away so the check-​out process is smoother for me and everyone else waiting.
Overall I come here for a few random things if I don’t feel like driving to other places. The service is hit and miss, if you can find someone that is.

This is normally not the Albertsons I go to but this store has everything I’ll need to make a great meal for one, two, or three…
Good prices means a happier me and I rarely shop for food but when I chose to its Albertsons.

Just my local Alby’s. Never had an issue here at all. The place is clean, the staff is always friendly and the pricing is decent for the basics that I come here for. Very seldom is there ever a long wait at any of the lines. I honestly can’t complain, it’s nice to have this place so close by.

Albertson’s is not high on my list of favorite grocery stores but since this location is just a couple blocks away from my new house they have been getting my business — plus it helps its one of the best Albertson’s I have been to in a bit…
