Aloft on Cortez Hill

I loved living at aloft! It’s a safe, clean new building in a great area of town. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and downtown — I could also walk to work. Nice little park across the street and a very dog friendly building. More surrounding street parking than most areas in downtown San Diego

Seven months ago, my wife and I welcomed our gorgeous daughter to the world.
We’ve made due with the size of our place here at Aloft, but the time has come to pack up and move to a larger place closer to our parents and daycare.
In our two years here, we’ve had zero complaints and only a few maintenance orders (which were usually fixed within 24 hours). We have loved our time here and appreciate all of the great work that the staff put into the property — they genuinely care for the residents and building.
We will recommend this complex for years to come!

My husband and I have lived at Aloft about a year and a half and have less than a handful of complaints. This is a wonderful community.
The units themselves are extremely roomy and upgraded.
We absolutely LOVE the neighborhood too! There is normally plenty of street parking, there’s an adorable little park across the street and within walking distance of downtown without the rif-​raf
Also, for the amount of time we’ve lived here I have seen ONE homeless person in the neighborhood… Very impressive!
The pool and spa area is great. They have a firepit with these cute little cabana’s and grill (wish there were two!) as well as a fitness room. These community areas never feel crowded either, which is nice!

I’ve been living at aloft since ’07. This is the greatest place to live in all of Downtown. Everyone at aloft is cool and neighborly.

I have been extremely satisfied with my time living at Aloft, and am sad that I have to move. I’ve lived all over the US and this property has been one of my top experiences.
All of the facilities are well maintained, neighbors are friendly and respectful, management is extremely responsive and easy to work with.
Unfortunately, I had to terminate my lease early for work. Rob (property manager) has made the process extremely painless and has gone above and beyond to keep my costs as low as possible. The helpfulness of the staff shown to me when I first visited Aloft has remained solid throughout my lease.
