Andreia Pellegrino Wax

I have been going to Andreia since 2012! As I mentioned on my previous review, I followed her from her previous location. So glad I went to see her today! She’s amazing as always! She always knows how to put you at ease & makes everything quick and painless! It’s been awhile since I’ve visited her due to not being in town so much this past year & a crazy busy life but I am so glad I went back! Not only is she the best at what she does, she’s one of the most genuine people I know! She’s personable & very sweet! I can’t rave enough about her! Thank you Andreia for being the best at what you do, you never fail to make every experience a pleasant!

Andreia is the best. I’ve been going to her for over 2 years pretty consistently. She has made me feel super comfortable since day one and she is so genuinely nice. She does a Brazilian wax in like 10 — 15 minutes and it’s as painless as a wax can be. She makes the other places I have gone look horrible. I drive 40 minutes to see her from East County and I’ll continue to do so.

I can’t enough about Andreia. I’ve been going to her for years and don’t know what I’m gonna do If I ever leave SD. She’s the sweetest lady and does such a great job! She makes you feel relaxed and gets the jobs done. I would recommend Andreia to anyone, she’s truly the best!!!

I’ve been coming to andreia for a couple years now and I won’t go to anyone else! I even drive 25 minutes just to get a wax. She’s so sweet and funny and makes you feel extremely comfortable. You’re in and out within fifteen minutes and it’s not painful at all! Highly highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

Andreia is great! She’s the best at what she does! She has a great personality and she makes sure that you feel comfortable. The place is very clean and cozy. Even do she’s quick and you’re done before you know it, she takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. Another thing that makes a huge difference is the wax quality… and she has the best wax in town! She’s very flexible and she’ll work with you when booking an appointment. I highly recommend her!!! I am a 50 year old gentleman, who due to medical treatments, was advised that I may want to have the small amount of hair on my back removed prior to treatments. The nurse suggested that I look into waxing.
I came on Unilocal and searched male waxing in the San Diego area. After reading several reviews, it was obvious to me that Andreia Pellegrino had the most positive reviews.
So I booked an appointment and went there not knowing what to expect. Well, I got exactly what the reviews stated. A truly professional individual, who makes you feel welcome, comfortable and important from the very moment you meet her. She asked me a few questions as to why I was there, put me totally at ease, (for a 50 year old man getting waxed, that can be a challenge), she explained the process and we began.
The process was very quick, with very little pain. I was expecting the worst and got the «BEST». I have continued going to Andreia once a month for over a year now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I do not live close to her salon, but the drive is worth the professional service I receive.
Not to be a copy cat, but like most of the the other reviews I have read on Unilocal,Andreia is the best. Put yourself in her hands and you will not be disappointed.
Many people wonder, but you can check on Unilocal and find out that this is the only review I have ever written. Why, because the San Diego area needs to know just how good Andreia really is !!!

I’ve only gone with Andreia once and it was a very last minute appointment. Every place I called was not available at the time I could go and I really had to go that same day because I had a special event that weekend. I found her on Unilocal and called her to see if she had any openings after work for me. She was very very sweet and squeezed me in her busy schedule. After work I of course went to the wrong area so I called her and she stayed on the phone with me until I found the salon that she was located in. I already knew I would like her a lot after that. During the appointment she was very social and open, it felt like we were really good friends! She made me feel comfortable and I like the private set up. She talked about her life, her dreams, passion, everything it was awesome! The waxing was the best I’ve had and I’ve gone to the top two rated places on Unilocal too. I’m pretty sure I’ve found my permanent place for waxing! =)

I have been going to Andreia for four years now. I’ve gone to a handful of other people in the past and Andreia is by far… hands down… the best. Andreia is Brazilian, has an adorable accent, and she is so personable you immediately love her. I always feel relaxed and at ease with Andreia. When it comes to waxing she is lightning quick with very little pain. She is very detail oriented, if there are a few stay hairs, she takes the time to pluck them out one by one. She is so great at what she does and the price she charges is very reasonable. I would not go to anyone else.

Best waxing experience I’ve had. I love her! I haven’t gotten a Brazilian in a while but will be coming back to her. Just got my eye brows cleaned with her and will only trust a Brazilian with any waxing done. Give her a try. She’s one of the best in San Diego.

She is the best… besides becoming a great friend… she’s very professional… really good and has a lot of experience on what she does… I simply love her… where ever she goes I’ll follow her definitely.

I tried to contact them for information and to schedule an appointment. It sounded like the phone number was a cellphone and it went directly to voicemail. I left a voicemail with my name number and interest of scheduling an appointment. I tried to call a couple more times but still didn’t get ahold of anyone. And no one called me back. Not very professional in my opinion

Andreia is awesome, she was extremely professional and personable. She explained everything that she was going to beforehand. She did a thorough job, the wax last for 3 weeks.

She is fabulous! I highly recommend her for waxing. I’m a repeat customer and have always been happy with the results.

Love her! It was my first time getting a Brazilian and I was freaking out from all the hype I heard about it. Andreia was great the whole time, she was talking and making me feel very comfortable. Also, not as painful as I thought it would be. Of course it hurt, but you’re ripping something out of your body it’s not
going to feel that great. Already have my next appointment set. Definitely go to her for a quick and awesome job!!!

Andreia is amazing!
I always wanted to get a bikini wax done. I was so nervous and had no idea where to go, who to go to, or how the waxing even happened. None of my friends do it and I had no idea what to expect. I searched on Unilocal to get an idea of the price range and to check reviews on people. Andreia had so many great reviews that I booked my first Brazilian appointment with her.
When I went in I was so nervous! Again, I had never had a Brazilian wax before and the thought of a complete stranger in my private regions just made me anxious. She came out and greeted me then pulled me back to her waxing room. She was very nice and asked me a lot of questions before starting. I explained it was my first time and I was nervous. She explained to me what the procedure is and she even warned me that it was going to hurt A LOT. It did hurt but she interchanges hard and soft wax for the different areas. She makes the experience as non-​awkward, least painful, and as quick as she can. She will stay in conversation with you throughout the entire waxing to help you feel at ease and she will explain to you step-​by-​step what she is doing. I have gone to her 3 times now and my hair in my bikini area is slowly vanishing. The pain is getting less and less and my appointments are becoming less frequent. She may be the first and only waxer I have gone to, but I will stick with her for as long as I can! I have and will continue to recommended friends to her services.
*SIDE-​NOTES*
The salon she is located in is nice and clean. The woman are welcoming and offer soda, coffee, tea, and water. They are attentive and let Andreia know that you have arrived.

Andreia was great! It was a last minute appointment so I was in a pinch. I was leaving for a long vacation and over looked this detail. She was quick, nice and thorough. Will be back.

Ah, the Brazilian wax.
While I don’t consider myself a shy girl by any means, I still felt pretty apprehensive about spreading ‘em for a complete stranger especially for the purpose of havin’ me short n’ curlies yanked out.
Perhaps it was for this reason that in the thirteen years that I’ve been doing elective kitty-​cleanup, I had never ventured to have my *ahem* area tended to by a professional.
Well, eventually my curiosity got the the best of me and I booked an appointment with Andreia a couple of weeks ago. I was instantly put at ease by her friendly demeanor and super impressed with how knowledgeable she is about different skin types, the cycle of hair growth, etc.
The whole sh-​bang lasted only a quick 15 minutes, and while there was a little pain (hello, you’re having the hair ripped out by hot wax, not licked off by baby unicorns!)– it was certainly bearable.
Plus, the results were well worth any small discomfort… they say curiosity killed the cat but in this instance, the kitty’s alive, well, and happily hairless.
I would (and do) recommend Andreia to anybody looking for a professional and friendly waxer. She’s also reasonably priced to the extreme and you can make an appointment directly through her Facebook page.

So, while I was in my tanning salon, I went to grab a sticker and her flyer with coupons was sitting right next to them… no big deal. I almost passed it up, until I read Brazilian wax $ 5 dollars off, not only that, the regular price is $ 38! A Brazilian wax ONLY $ 38 (regular price), that’s what I call a good price. I’m used to paying way more.
I actually used Unilocal to go to her web site and make an appointment. You can make the appointment through facebook, which IS what I did. I have to say, the way she has it set up, it is VERY easy to make an appointment. It even sends you an e-​mail to confirm that your appointment was made.
I showed up at my appointment and met Andreia. Needless to say, she is very sweet and REALLY nice. I felt completely comfortable with her the whole of my appointment and sometimes that’s difficult when getting a Brazilian, from a waxer you haven’t been to before.
I got a Brazilian, eye brow, and upper lip wax (lip wax was free with her flyer coupon). This gal knows her stuff! I love the fact that she is fast BUT also accurate. She never miss pulled once (Miss pull: when the waxer does not pull the wax off on the first attempt and has to make another attempt) which is why waxing can be very painful. She was gentle yet very quick, which is always a bonus. She completed all three waxes in 30 minutes, which was GREAT! I left feeling beautiful and amazing!
Andreia has it all: comforting personality, GREAT prices, gentle, accurate, and quick. I’ll be going back in 4 weeks!
(NOTE: I noticed a couple of people mentioned her waxing was painless, ALL WAXING HURTS (only for two second). But she is so accurate and gentle, that it seems painless)
