Just a friendly neighborhood Middle Eastern/Central Asian Market. The owners are charming and hospitable. In the corner there is an Afghan Café with magnificent Tikka Kabobs, decent gyros, and some authentic Bolani. The food is good, the mood is casual, and you get a free tea with your purchase. A nice chill place to hangout with some friends and grab a quick bite to eat. Best part being all the food is Halal ^_^

I love this place. Their spicy chicken shawarma is so sooo good filled with really flavorful chicken and some fresh salad. I had their Bolani stuffed with potatoes and onions and fell in love with it rightaway. The restaurant owners are super kind and cook everything fresh from scratch right in front of you. I could eat at this place everyday if I could! This place also sells groceries and meat and we count on them for our meat supply. Their meat(both chicken and goat-never tried beef) is really fresh and clean and it tastes organic! I just wish they wouldn’t have the meat sticking to the side of the bag each time we get it. But then again that’s a real small inconvenience seeing how good the meat quality is. Am a huge fan of this place!

Yesterday, I bought fresh baby goat meat from this store. The main owner guy assured me that it’s fresh and good. Today, we cooked for Friday dinner and it was bad smelly meat. Don’t trust him. However, earlier twice he gave good meat, we referred many friends. This time he cheated us badly and ruined our day.

Found this location on late Sunday night. Because of the high reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I was still surprised how good the food was. Had a regular spicy gyro that was superb. The chicken schwarma was the best since I my first in the Jebal Ali ‘sand box’. The beef kabob was the best over… tender meat, spiced just right! Will definitely come back!

New and IMPROVED!!! Their prices are insanely good! Half what you would pay at Vons… maybe less even. Their meat is so much better than Vons. They now carry fish too! I don’t know why anyone in the neighborhood shops at the big stores when there are places like this in Mira Mesa. Everything in this plaza is good. Hidden gem.

Two words. Gyro Combo. Best thing ever. Only reason I knocked a star was becayse the place was a little dirty while we ate and they were being pretty cheap with ketchup.

I just moved into the area and being the foodie I am I’ve been trying out local non-chain restaurants. To prepare you Ariana is primarily a Middle Eastern grocery store with a kitchen and a few tables. With that said, first off the people are very friendly! I love kubideh kebabs(ground beef), but never being there I asked what he recommended. He said the beef kebabs were made from fillet mignon and cost him a lot more than the ground beef(all kebabs same price), but a must try! So, I ordered on filet mignon and one chicken kebab. Both were tender, juicy and flavorful! The plate is served with Basmati rice, small salad and a piece of flat bread. The same meal(quality) downtown with the ambiance would cost you at least three times the cost, but if you’re looking for great Mediterranean food at an affordable price you have to try Ariana Kabob House!

Four words: Best. Chicken. Kabob. Ever. I mentioned they have a deli/prepared food counter in the back of the store. Since my last review, I’ve had the chicken shwarma and today I tried the chicken kabob. The gentleman that runs that counter really knows what he’s doing! Both instances I was blown away with the quality and flavor of the meals. Portion sizes are very reasonable as well. Check out this hidden gem, you won’t be disappointed!

I moved to San Diego recently, i landed at this small store after a bit of Unilocaling. This was the first store i visited to buy meat from, and tell you what, i am not going to any other store to buy meat. All those Unilocal reviews are perfect. Good produce, the owner is a very honest guy. This place has a small kitchen as well, i tired kababs and samosa. Kababs — really good. Samosa — not at all good, wouldn’t try them again

Try the bolani or kabob? Organic meat that is certified halal. Delicious food and very nice people running the place. What else could you ask for?

Randomly came in to this little market to poke around and noticed they have a little restaurant going on in the back. Menu looked really good and the friendly gentleman working(owner?) gave me some suggestions. Went with the ground beef kabob which came on a ton of rice w/a piece of bread, salad, yogurt sauce, and a spicy green vinaigrette. It was just over $ 8 and was a generous amount of food. Everything was fresh and super yummy(although I’m not used to the dense type of bread they serve.)…The bread was like a very dense focaccia heading into lavash territory. They have a pretty good variety of items on their menu and some interesting looking veg items as well. Clean, fast, friendly, inexpensive, big portions. definitely a good thing going on in a really random shopping center.

It looks like this ‘little market that could’ is really getting established in the community! Shelves are stocked with more and more interesting items, the kitchen in the back is providing fantastic meals, the meat counter is impressive. I will say, the owner must have super powers, as he is often the only one at the store. Manning the meat counter, the register, staying attentive and friendly… despite some of his, shall we call them ‘assertive?’ customers. The other day I heard one asking if he had fresher meat when it was a DAY old. Last I checked, not one market in town has goats or lambs tied up in the back alley… He assured them it was fresh(um, yeah!) and of course, of good quality. I’m not sure if they’re still on the menu, but several months ago they served the most AMAZING little meat dumplings, a yogurt based dipping sauce with rice. I’ve been craving them ever since. Hubby had a hankering for lamb burgers a few months ago and the owner ground up the freshest, most beautiful portion of lamb I had ever seen. The quality was superb. Not gamey at all, we mixed in some lean ground beef, spices, barbecued them up and served them at a gathering to hugely positive response! Support this little market, we are blessed to have it in town! Let’s make sure this man stays in business — and, darnit, is able to take a day off once in a while! ;)

I came in for groceries and to check out their restaurant. First impression is that the people are so friendly! I found some of my favorite groceries and discovered some new ones. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was good! Definitely coming back for more.

I went to this place going through the Unilocal reviews. Oh man this is definitely a good one to check out. The food is super tasty. I tried the kabobs and they were far better than the ones I have tried before. The chef makes it in the way you want. We wanted more masala and he did it !! It was great to know that they do catering. Don’t miss out on the sweets. they are just heavenly. The grocery is a bit pricy compared to the Indian stores around. The store isn’t big or flashy but it does have a good collection of stuffs. This place is gonna be my favourite.

FInally, I found my place in San Diego that sells the best goat meat!!! I am from the bay area and didn’t have any luck finding a good place down here that sells tender goat meat. But Ariana surprised me with some of the best goat meat I have ever had. Best part is, it is not frozen and is fresh. The owner who cuts the meat is very friendly and does a great job in cutting the meat to smaller pieces with the knife once he is done cutting with the machine. SO, for all you goat lovers, Ariana it is and the best part is he sends you a message on the phone whenever he has fresh goat meat!!!

I’m so glad we stumbled upon this awesome grocery store in Mira Mesa! My family up in NorCal always buys halal meat so once I saw this place I knew the quality was going to be great. My boyfriend and I stopped by here before a BBQ at our place and got the pre-marinated chicken and beef. The flavor of the chicken is outstanding and the quality was fantastic as expected. I don’t eat beef but my boyfriend was pleased with the quality of the beef as well. After our friends tried the meat they asked where we got it so they can get some for themselves later! The service is very very friendly. It might be a little slow but keep in mind that it’s a one man show so if he’s busy in the back cutting meat, don’t get upset. A man can only do so much!

I keep seeing reviews referring Ariana Produce as a «hidden gem,» well they are absolutely right! What impressed me the most of this humble store is their outstanding quality of meat products. No frozen meat section found here. What you get is fresh, hormone free, humanly raised animal products. I expected to pay higher prices for this standard but was stunned by the reasonable pricing. Another stand out quality of this store is their customer service. The owners are friendly and helpful. If there is a product that you use that they don’t have on stock, they will make it a point to have it for YOU on a regular bases. My self absorbed mind says«Ah, my own personal grocery store.» If you find yourself in Mira Mesa, visit Ariana Produce!
