Aspen Park Apartments

So, We’ve only lived here for like 3 months. We already want out!
Here are some reasons why:
Cockroaches
Parking– terrible!
No air conditioning-​really can’t bring in your own because of windows.
People walk up to your apt and don’t knock (or introduce their selves)
Pet policy-​no dogs? people have them. I’m pretty sure there’s a breeder resident.
No storage!-get a storage unit or get rid of your stuff!
Mr. Skunk lives here!-more his place than yours
Too small-​onto of yourself constantly! basically a studio with a wall???
Thin walls?-you betcha (you can hear your neighbors bowel movements)
Last century appliances — Stove burns everything and doesn’t beep when it’s preheated.
Fridge smells like BO? really?
Running a daycare out of your apartment seems to be the «in thing» to do here
Basically, everything is garbage. yes, it’s cheaper! you get what you pay for.
The only positive is that it is close to the airport. Oh, and the on-​site manager is nice!

I lived here for a 1 & ½ years and love it.
The price is affordable for these nice apartments. The two bedrooms have large balconies and the neighborhood is very quite. Its a very safe neighbor which is important for me cause I’m a young female. The location is great, close to Hillcrest, Downtown, Mission Hills and a short drive to the beaches.
Ed & Michelle took over management in ’10 and they have been a great addition. The managers Ed & Michelle are very nice and respond quickly to email and maintenance request. I moved to San Francisco for college but if I’m ever back to San Diego, Ed & Michelle will be the 1^st people I call.
