George Gushulak is officially my hero today. My car battery died and I have two babies at home one sick with a sitter who says she needs to leave. I was obviously beyond stressed, George got my battery changed, even washed my car beautifully & I was in & out in under two hours!!! Thank you!

The only reason why I chose to go here is because I got a Q7 for Christmas & the stereo had issues, so I thought I was paying for them to check the vehicle to see if everything was tip top. I explained my horrible situation to Joshua in service that I purchased the car from Point Loma pre-​owned who basically lied about the problems. I told Josh that it was difficult for me to drop off & pick up the car because I have 3 children. He never offered me a shuttle, or courtesy vehicle. I was under the impression when I dropped my vehicle off to get checked that I was paying Audi to look over the entire car, but no they only looked at the stereo problem. All in all I paid $ 1,300 to fix the MMI. Joshua was off the day my car was finally finished, so that means no one ever called to tell me the car was done. I am baffled because I thought Audi was a team. When Joshua returned to work the next day he called to tell me the car was finally ready to pick up, but again I explained the situation that I needed to make arrangements to pick up my car because of the kids it is hard. He told me to pick up the Q7 whenever I can. I was unhappy with his customer service.
Later the next week I had returned because the stereo continued to play in the vehicle after I had stopped the engine, and left the vehicle for over 10 minutes. I found that to be really odd & did not want to have any additional issues with my children in the car, and have my battery die, or something. This time I had Manny help me. I inquired about a courtesy vehicle because of the trouble of finding a ride. Manny was very helpful, unlike Joshua with my previous experience. Manny also explained the facts. He told me last time I dropped off my car they did not check the entire vehicle, like I thought they did. After going over Joshua’s notes he said they just looked at the initial problem of the stereo, and navigation. I bought a used car, and thought I paid Audi to look over the entire car to see if it was all good, but no. Audi does a simple check they turn on the lights, ac, blinkers, etc to see if the work, but nothing more. I was under the impression I was paying for the best & I was wrong. If the windshield wipers needed to be replaced I think they should have told me, but again they did not do a full check on the vehicle, so I feel I was mislead the 1^st visit when I spoke with Joshua. If you ever have to visit Audi service center ask for Manny he is much more competent & courtesy, than Joshua. Joshua should have at the very least offered me a courtesy vehicle on my 1^st visit.
On another note to the business: me & my kids did not appreciate the stares we received while waiting in the lounge. There are snacks, and yes we indulged, but the unwanted looks we received from other employees were not necessary.

The best thing about this dealership is the free coffee and cookies in the waiting room. I brought my car in last week with a whistling sound under the hood. Soon as they head it they knew what it was. The person that took my car in was Manny. Very polite gentleman. besides the whistling sound under the hood my check engine light was on. I made it very clear that I had been experiencing random fault lights, ESP, and bulb out light. I also mentioned that when making a right turn there was a noise that came from the left wheel well and rough idling when the car was stated in the morning or had been sitting for a few hours. I have a power train warranty on the car from a 3^rd party. The whistling noise came from an internal part where the valve cover had to be removed. This part as explained to me was the way AUDI did air ventilation from the engine, much like a pcv valve that one would find on he outside of the engine on most cars. It was explained to me that their technician felt that replacing the faulty part (pcv controller that is internal to the engine) and replacing the four spark plug coils would fix the issue. My service manager, Manny had the day off when I came back 3 days later to pick up my car. I was directed to a different service manager to make my 689.00 payment. The four coil wires was an AUDI recall. But, according to this dealership the coil wires would only be supplied and replace free of charge if the car was still under its original factory warranty which was 4 years. 50,000 miles. The service manager that I was directed too, although not remembering his name but I do remember where his station was. Facing all the service managers with my back to the glass wall. This service manager was seated in the second all the way to the right. I think his name was George but I’m not certain. This gentleman was only interested in processing my credit card. I had to ask him to further explain what this internal part was, and why it would not be covered by my 3^rd. party warranty. I also asked him what was the general life span of this part. He roughly said, that part is designed to last the life of the car and proceeded to process my payment. It was very obvious that he just wanted to get rid of me because this part has a known failure and others at the dealership knew exactly what had failed as soon has they heard the noise. By this time I really didn’t care that AUDI would not replace their known defective coil wires at no cost. I just wanted out of the dealership. In regards to my powertrain warranty not covering that internal pcv part, I figured I would just deal with the warranty folks directly.
So upon driving out of the dealer ship, the first thing I heard was the noise coming from the left axel. So that wasn’t identified, the next thing that happen is as I frove about 3 miles away from the dealer ship, the ESP light came on, then later the bulb out notification light came on (Even though this bulb light failure would come on, there has never been any indication that any of the bulbs on the care were not working. I had explained this to the dealership upon leaving the car there. The other strange thing I had mention to them was that both the ESP and the bulb warning light failures could be cleared by just turning the engine off and turning it back on, however the failure would continue to happen, maybe a few times a day, and as much as a week between failures. Lastly, when I started the car the next morning, I still had the rough idling which would last until I drove the car for a few blocks.
I know Ive been long winded and I apologize for that, but bottom line I paid 689.00 for this car to be repaired and any other issues with the car identified. The technician’s general recommendations for the car was that I do that the car probably needed its routine 75K maintenance. Again this dealership does not listen to the customer’s needs when bringing a vehicle in for service. If they would have listened, they would have heard me tell them that the 75K maintenance had already been done, and because of the terms and conditions of the 3^rd party warranty I was required to do an oil change every 4000 miles. Which is over kill because AUDI only recommends the oil change maintenance every 10,000 miles. If they would have listened they would have also heard me say the I had just done the oil service maintenance a 1000 miles ago. Very disappointed in this dealership as I’m out of 600.00 and the only thing they fixed was the pcv condition, which would have cost by original estimate 525.00

Outstanding professionals. If you’re like me and have less than perfect credit but feel you deserve to drive something nice, car buying can be stressful. Don and his team helped me chose the car for me that was in my budget and met my standards. When the bank gave me a harsh interest rate on my loan it really put a damper on my options. Without pressure Don suggested a few things he could to get me into the perfect car and DELIVERED! The finance team drew up my contract and I drove a brand new car off the lot at a more than reasonable price. These guys set the standard for what car buying should be. Even if you’re not sure, go take a look. I always felt I could leave without pressure at anytime. Audi brand speaks for itself. Now go check out who makes it all happen. Thanks Don!

LEMON — I have had ENDLESS problems with my 2014 Audi. It has been in and out of service over 20 times. Just to name a few — 6 times for a rattling noise, 3 times for squeezing brakes that still squeak and are still NOT FIXED (yes the margins on my brake pads are fine). Audi wants me to pay for new brakes and rotors even though the margins are fine. The rest of the times for issues like valves, hoses, recalls and scheduled maintenance. I have spent hours at service and hours talking to corporate.
Although I can’t speak for the sales department I am stuck with a problem car. I understand that in every brand of car there maybe issues but how Audi San Diego and Audi corporate has dealt with me as a customer is down right awful. THINK TWICE BEFORE buying an Audi, you potentially could be counting the days until you can get rid of your AUDI.
Audi of North Americas responses have been go to a different service station. They declined my buyback and failed to get back to me numerous times. Even told me to try another service station. I live near Audi of San Diego and think that’s a ridiculous response.
You decide for yourself if you ever would want go through countless times to service, countless hours on the phone and worst of all stuck with a LEMON.
Yea the shop is clean and the service staff are polite but the real issue is how Audi has been non responsive, failed as a brand and really let me down. I would never buy another Audi after this experience and hope in the future Audi can treat people the way they should. Had Audi done things differently then my story would be a positive one and I would be writing a strong recommendation, have an advocate, a customer for life, but instead i’m a customer filled with DISSATISFACTION and disappointment.
Note to Audi — I challenge you to right this wrong.

This place was horrible! I came in looking to purchase a car and had to flag down a person to help me. This was the first time at a dealership where I had to make such an effort to get help. The place wasn’t busy and there were plenty of staff members around but I guess the did not want to sell me a car. When I finally got someone to help me I got to test drive an A4 but the whole drive was horrible. The dealer just sat in the passenger set silently. He was not explaining anything about the car and seemed uninterested in selling the car. I ended up going to Hoehn Audi in Carlsbad and had a much better experience and ended up purchasing a car that day. The lack of customer service just lost this place a sale. If your looking to buy an Audi I suggest making the effort to drive to Carlsbad because the service there is much better!

My 2016 Q5 needed it’s first 5k miles service, so I called the Service Department, spoke to Josh Chamberland, who was very nice and upbeat. He was able to get me an appointment the next morning. When I brought my car in, I was greeted by someone right away who checked in my car, he escorted me into the service department where I signed some papers and received my loaner car. Even though Josh wasn’t helping me initially, he made it a point to introduce himself to me as I walked by. To my surprise, my loaner vehicle was a 2016 S4, such a sweet ride! It was really exciting to have for a day. The whole drop off took less than 10 minutes and I was on my way.
I received a call later on in the afternoon from Josh letting me know my vehicle was done. Great thing about the service department closing at 6pm since I work in Hillcrest. When I went to pick up my car, Josh remembered me by name and I signed some papers discussed the service and I was out the door waiting for my car. Just a short wait and my car came to me washed and vacuumed for me. Feels good to see it so nice and clean and knowing that take such good care of my vehicle. Everything went as smooth, efficient, and pleasant as can be.

My man Jack has departed and Russ’ review is correct in that it will cost you «three Benny’s» for an estimate. On top of it, you no longer receive the personal touch with a courtesy phone call advising what work is needed or recommended. I received something from an AutoPoint website to educate me on why I need my front brake pads and rotors replaced for $ 700 but the real kick in the pants was the $ 75 windshield wipers. Thanks Audi San Diego but I think I will find a mechanic or buy a Mercedes which is a less expensive service venture.

Kasia has been an incredible sales consultant as I evaluated multiple Audi models (both pre-​owned & new) and ultimately selected the A6 3.0T. The pricing was fair and reasonable and Kasia went out of her way to ensure my satisfaction as a new Audi customer. I highly recommend Kasia at Audi San Diego.

As always, my service experience was second to none at Audi SD! And when you add Kasia, my sales associate to the equation, they always knock the ball out of the park!

Took my car into the audi dealership for service. Man!!! The prices are crazy. Just to get an estimate for work that needs to be done… it was three Benny’s.
However, the service is exceptional. Manny is outstanding and a true professional.

This review is only for the sales department. We bought my brother’s Q3 here and worked with Fadi.
Fadi was exceptionally nice and patient with us. He didn’t hurry us and let us take our time to make a decision. He even suggested we come back after a while to decide between the Q3 or Q5. We also made him show us the Q3 vs Q5 Hybrid, 2.0,and 3.0. I was fed up with us by the end of it but Fadi was really nice about it. Very knowledgeable, not pushy, and just generally had an all around good vibe. He worked with me on pricing and was accommodating on what I wanted to get it for.
They actually had to get the car we wanted from another dealership and Fadi gave us an update on each step of the way. When we picked up the car, we were out of there in 2 hours.
Only thing to keep in mind is that Audi’s financing interest is super high. The lowest they’d be able to do (if there wasn’t some incentive or special on the car) is around 2.9%. It might be better to shop around for your own financing.

Well this dealership has reshuffled again and are finally on their game. We never stopped using the service department, and with a recent upset there, I was introduced to the GM. He handled the situation brilliantly and to our satisfaction. Since we already had a rapport with him, I asked him to suggest a sales person since we were considering adding another Audi to our stable. Mike Mangas introduced us to Lucas Kielar and I am so glad he did. Lucas is a true professional and knows Audi’s as well as my husband does (this is a rare commodity). He helped us identify THE car and we were in/​out of the dealership in record time and with no hassle. I am talking excellent car (great inventory), bottom line pricing, financing and keys in hand with no issues.
Since I have been coming to this dealership since ANY of the employees there now, it is nice to see it come full circle and back to a place I want to buy my cars at. There is more construction going on, not really visible to us, but the mechanics bays have been moved off this site, giving the dealership more room for more inventory, which means more cars for us to choose from.

Lucas Kielar really took care of us. I knew I wanted the car but he really took the time to explain all the features. I am not a car person so I really appreciated that. Very knowledgable about the product. Further, when I got a chip in the windshield after owning the car less than a week, Lucas coordinated the repair. I really got the impression that he didn’t just want to sell me a car, he wanted to build a relationship. Great experience.

Regardless of my absolutely terrible experience with my lemon of a S5, and previous subpar experiences at Audi dealerships — I have never been treated this poorly as a paying customer.
After shelling out $ 228 for literally nothing, I stood with my paperwork in my hands for over 15 minutes while a customer who pulled up in a R8 was attended to by literally seven employees. After telling me they were pulling my car up, finally someone came over to me to tell me, «oh, your car is around the corner» and handed me the keys.
I get it — buy an R8 next time and you will have an awesome customer experience.
I’ll make the trek up north to the other dealership next time, hopefully for the last time.

Awesome Service! Had some trouble with my A5. Manny was able to get me in on a walk in and get my car serviced and had me back on the road same day! Could not ask for a better service center. Car is back up and doing just fine.
I will be bringing in my other car for servicing when it is needed.

Donald Bragg did an amazing job helping me with some minor issues I had with my car. He’s a really nice guy and walked me through some cool features on my A6 that the previous sales guy did not do.
I will be coming back and I will work with Don in the future. If you are looking for an Audi ask for Donald Bragg he was very easy to work with and took extra time with me even though he wasn’t the one who sold me my car. Just shows he is not in it for the commission he actually wanted to make sure I was happy.

Had a small issue with them and the way that Valerie went above and beyond to fix it made me really appreciate how great of a dealership this is. She made sure to correct our issue and had open communication with us through the entire process.
