Just ordered«Tacos Dorados de Camaron»(fried shrimp taco), they are covered with a soup sauce. I recommend it. The place is nice and quite during lunch hours. Last time I came here I got the Sashimi mix, which was also, very good. Buddy of mine had the«Pescado Culichi», he is recommending this plate as well. Very good place to eat!!!

This is by far my favorite baja style seafood restaurant in so cal! The food is fresh, and the beer is cold. I started going here over 10 years ago befor they added the sushi bar(also very exceptional) and the owner would try out new recipes on me and my buddies. Don’t forget the ceveiche and the cheese and seafood stuffed clams…(drooling)

Good lawd!!! Soooooo bomb. First review where even though I have came here three or four times now. One of the best south-bay san diego restaurants for sure! Th chefs creation is a monstrous bowl of of greatness! Shrimp, squid, carne, with all the fixins in a green sauce! Perfect amount of spiciness! Seriously so good I cant even describe it. Kitchen dudes are all very cool in here if you sit at either of the kitchen bars. We always sit with Chuy and he treats us great! Good food, good people, and good service! Love this place and will be back again and again for micheladas, sushi, and whatever else i decide to try next time! Fuego!

Everything was super good! Sushi roll can be hit or miss if you are a huge fan of authentic sushi. The rice is very soft thus can be mushy. I was ok with it but it was too soft for my hubby’s taste. We ordered: chef’s creation, stuffed oysters with spinach, cheese, and shrimp, one of Baja special sushi rolls, and a taco. I’ll definitely come back for other dishes. The taste was top notch. Service was indeed slow on a Memorial Day. However, it didn’t bother me since the food tasted so good.

I went there with my wife, I started getting a stomach ache while still eating, went home, and got sick, throwing up for over 24 hrs and longer to feel better, called the restaurant and was told no English, I’m the dishwasher, I called back an other time, explained to the person who claim to be in charge and was informed, that a manager will call me back, NOONECALLED, SHITTYCUSTOMERSERVICE. «7SEASSOUP» TAINTED, POORFOODHANDLINGORFILTHYCONDITIONS, NOONETOOKTHETIMETOSPEAKTOME.

I want to start with, I love this place. I’ve been coming here for years. Today I sat by the area where they make their mixed drinks. I saw the waitress make a pineapple colada, taste it with a spoon and notice somethings missing add for booze and taste it again with the same spoon. Double dipping bad. That’s not the worse part. I saw her go back make another mix drink and use the same spoon to taste it. That’s a health issue. If she has a cold or worse she just spread that sucker to two people and their love ones.

Went with a couple of friends to get our eat on. The place is in a somewhat ok location, kind of tough to find parking. When you walk in the place looks great, you sit down and the service is ok. The food was pretty good tried quite a few things from oysters, tacos, bacon wrapped shrimp, and sushi. Was pretty happy with the food. The prices on the other hand are a bit pricey. But hey it’s sea food. I I’ll be going back to try a couple more things and hope the service improves.

I really love the food here. But their customer service sucks! It took 4 trips for our food to get here. A plate at a time. They don’t help each other out. I’d totally give this place a 5 if the employees actually payed attention to their tables and helped other out.

Still good. Chef special still amazing. Frustrated because I really wanted to try more of the ethnic food so I ordered the fish, and then she came back to tell me they were out of the small fish, so I had to pay three dollars more for the large fish. That would normally be fine except that I thought it was sort of rude considering that it was their problem they were out of the smaller fish that I had ordered. As always the chips, the soup, and all the rest is great. This is a great place to try if you want authentic Mexican and maybe some sushi LOL

Ok first and foremost free chips and salsa, and I’ve stuck to the sushi part of the menu. But I do appreciate the fusion of sushi and mexican cuisine. Great rolls. Great prices, definitely would recommend. Friendly staff, and clean

Definitely coming back here. Prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. The mango margarita was to die for. Good place to eat for any occasion.

My very own sushi roll! I sat at the sushi bar and musta have looked confused(I was just trying to choose between all the great options) Juan asked me what I like in a sushi roll and made me my very own custom roll. So the menu has many options, you don’t like sushi? Fine there’s delicious fish tacos and other Mexican dishes. They serve you tortilla chips with limes(authentic, Mexicans put lime on everything) and they also give you a little cup with fish soup, so delicious… Um put lime in it! Lol. The staff here is so chill and sweet. They treat you so well and with so much respect. I’ve brought so many people here and it’s now am place where my friends want to come when they eat out with me.

I debate between a 3 and a 4 star for this place. The food I have tried is good. Sushi doesn’t taste the freshest, but isn’t horrible. Fish tacos are good. My ex bf always loved coming here since he loves Mariscos. My main issues with them is; if it’s busy, I won’t even try it and the prices. Besides horrible location and lack of parking, if it’s busy the service sucks. I don’t think they have what it takes to handle a full house. When there’s only 1 or 2 other tables, they’re pretty attentive and very nice. $ 30 for a NY steak & shrimp is too steep to be sitting in aluminum. The place gives me taco shop vibes at finer dining prices. For the same price, I’ll have my steak at a steakhouse, or even Red Lobster, where I have more of a restaurant feel. Ambiance is everything to me. I’m not only paying for food, I’m paying for the whole experience. They just don’t do it for me. I only come here when someone else suggests it. Not my favorite even though I live in the area.

First order of business when you get to San Diego: eat some Mexican food. And it doesn’t get any better than going down South. Luckily when we went, there was only about a 10 minute wait for our group of 8. I knew I had to get a burrito so I got a mixed seafood burrito. It was pretty big and tasty. I’m glad it didn’t have rice in it like some«Mexican» places do. The seafood was pretty fresh and the flavor was on the lighter side, but it was just enough so that you can taste all the seafood. I would recommend this if you like seafood. We also got oysters to start — raw and baked. Both were really good. And we also got the Chef’s Creation which is seafood in some kind of sauce that I don’t know how to describe but it was just hella good! It’s a pricey tag of $ 30 though, but whatever the sauce is made out of is bomb! Overall, my craving was satisfied and I would come back to this place.

Celebrated our Valentines Day at this place with the family and we really enjoyed it. Its a small business, nice ambient, friendly service. They serve mexican food, seafood and sushi. We all enjoyed our orders from fish tacos, shrimp cocktail, steak and shrimp. Delicious, tasty and hot salsas to add spice

Got the garlic shrimp burrito(not sure what the name of it is on the menu) and added rice. One of the best burritos I’ve ever had. The ingredients were distributed throughout the burrito perfectly, with a taste of everything in every bite and not too much of one ingredient over the other. You can actually taste the garlic, which was a pleasant surprise. Also got the spinach and cheese oysters(a dozen). It was good but I was disappointed not every oyster shell had an oyster, which made me feel jipped since I had paid for 12 oysters. Otherwise, service was okay and could’ve been much better.

Negative space on a plate means the burrito isn’t big enough… while hella spicy is a nice touch this place needs to be more in line with the value options of IB.

Excellent option for great Mariscos and Sushi in the IB area. Good atmosphere, and a great selection of drinks to get your evening started. Make sure to grab a Clamato Michelada if you haven’t had one here. Not quite the floating salad like one at the Tijuana Feria, but close. Tasty. The Chef’s Special is the way to go, and is less than $ 30, which is actually a deal. Try the bacon wrapped shrimp, and although I’m not a big Sushi guy, I can tell you that it’s clean, fresh and properly made. $ 10-$ 15 Sushi prices, and that’s about par for the course. The Grilled Fish Tacos are excellent, and are worth a trip alone. I WILL say that overall, the prices are a bit steep here– Expect to pay about $ 80 for a couple, when you have some drinks and appetizers. So, not quite IB prices, but also not typical quality– Give this place a shot! Park down on Saturn Blvd. and walk– Don’t even bother trying to fight your way into the elevated parking.

For imperial beach, this is the best place to take your girl or friends for some Mariscos. The sushi is okay, but Mariscos is really good. Great atmosphere, however, the place can get busy and usually understaffed so expect wait time.

This place is EXCELLENT! It’s such a surprise entering since the exterior is pretty much a basic strip mall but the moment one walks through the doors it’s like getting swept into a cool vibed, family restaurant in a Baja Resort! Excellent food, kind and gracious service… so personable and without a doubt, my favorite restaurant to bring visiting family and friends to when they come to San Diego! I recommend getting your nalgas to this place and be prepared for a relaxing and wonderful meal in one of San Diego area’s best«off the path» coolest spots! Enjoy!

Uno de mis lugares favoritos para comer! Yo y mi Fam ya somos clientes. Me encanta y casi siempre pido Sushi.
