Very creative. The whole concept is so cool. We met the owner, he was working the line when we were there.
As far as ice cream, toppings, choices, etc., well it is somewhat limited. I prefer the chains, where I can really ponder what I feel like and mix some things together.
We all thought it tasted good. Would definitely go back if in the area, or wanted to bring someone for the experience. The kids could go all the time.

Nagwa is awesome! Amazing sandwiches and salads. Everything she makes is so healthy and delicious. Love her yogurt, home made hummus, lentil soups and not to forget, smoothies. So fresh and flavorful.
She’s not just a great chef but also a sweetheart! She always greets you with a big smile and knows your taste once you start going to her regularly (which you will, cos her menu is the best in town)!

This place makes the best salads. I come here every time I visit San Diego. It’s amazing!

I am so glad that this place exists! I work in Bird Rock and am very grateful to have healthy tasty options right down the block. I am a registered dietitian with food sensitivities so finding things I can eat and want to eat can be a real challenge. Nagua is SO accommodating! She never has a problem making alterations to the listed menu items for me. My favorite is the salad with oven roasted turkey breast and quinoa. It is far from your typical snooze-​worthy bowl of lettuce! There are so many components and layers that please the taste buds. I look forward to chowing there this afternoon :)

Best lunch place in town! Seriously! They have healthy salads packed with ingredients that keep you full all afternoon. They also have great sandwiches with various bread options, including Gluten Free!!! The couple that owns this quaint little corner shop are so sweet. They always remember their customers and have a smile on their face. Additional, the prices are great! Especially given the amount of food you get! I eat here almost ever day and I’m never bored! I highly recommend this place. You have to come check them out!!!

So refreshing! My lunch at Bird Rock Yogurt was refreshing on a couple levels. 1 — the turkey & bacon sandwich with hummus was fantastic and the cucumber made it so refreshing on a warm day. 2 — the acai bowl came loaded with sweet fruit (sweet grapes, bananas and strawberries) and was great. 3 — and this is the most impressive aspect to me — the owners take unparalleled pride in their business. They make sure you never forget that their food is all healthy and organic and seeing pride (the good kind) in their small business was the most refreshing aspect of the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Nagua’s food is amazing! It is the best deal in town. I used to drive all the way down from Encinitas. Now, luckily I live close by! Get the greek salad when you order from her. I think I counted something like 19 ingredients! So healthy too!

I come here all of the time! The food is fantastic and fresh! And she has the BEST quinoa salad in town. Love love love.

This place is PHENOMENAL! Sam and his wife offer exemplary food at outstandingly low prices! I had the Turkey with Bacon on a french bread roll, it came with chips and was pleasantly surprised! I was recommended to check this place out from a friend and I am happy I did! If you haven’t tried it yet stop in!

Stopped by to grab a nice cold smoothie. One problem it wasn’t cold. However, ordered another one and it was cold. Older man seemed like the owner then starts to argue with me and tell me all his stuff is organic. Asked for some cold water with ice on this 90 degree day he stated he doesn’t use ice.
Poor service. Makes you order and walk up to get ur food. Where is the service, why can’t you walk out and give the food to the table? This place is a corner hidden place wished it would just hide away.

This place is small but the quality is impeccable. I ordered the black bean veggie burger and an Acai Bowl and was astonished. I ate the burger and had to order more! The acai Bowl had all organic fruit and was a great price for the amount. Any time I’m in La Jolla I’ll be visiting this place for some great food! A++++

Just got a chicken quinoa salad and YUMM, the best salad I’ve had in a while, they use organic produce and make the food with care and love, super friendly customer service. The salad included mixed greens, avocado, hummus, grapes, raisins, cucumber, tomatoes, red quinoa, apples, strawberries, blue berries and raspberries, sunflower seeds And grilled chicken and boiled eggs. The combo is perfect. I will be going back to try the rest of their delicious menu!

In one word: addictive. The black bean burger sandwich haunts me in the most delicious way possible as I write this. But beware! They aren’t open on Sundays, which has tripped me up a time or two. Everyone deserves a day off though, right?!

This place is the absolute best! Nagua and her husband Sam (the owners) are the most wonderful people. They pour their heart and soul into their business and it shows. No detail is missed with their delicious food! Everything is made with such love and care. Everything is organic too with the best prices around! My favorites are the quinoa salad (best salad ever!!!)Acia bowls, chicken sandwich, yogurt, and any smoothie! Simply a must if you are in the area! Enjoy ;)

I study a lot in the Bird rock area, and this little place always catches my eye. I finally tried it today and was pleasantly surprised. It’s owned by a cute couple who gave me free samples while I waited for my sandwich.
I ordered their black bean burger which was delicious! Really great flavors in the patty and overall a solid lunch for about $ 7. From the samples I tried, their yogurt and smoothies are great too– I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town.

A little hole in the wall spot in Birdrock this place is surprisingly super delicious! I stopped in after stalking the salad photos, but most of the food appears to look delicious! Customer service was okay — but it’s one woman working all the time, I’m sure she has her moments! I loved the salad, look at it! The menu is limited but I would try other things, for a little snack hut this was a great stop! And reasonably priced too

I just stumbled upon Bird Rock Yogurt Co. and was just blown away by the deliciousness and quality that they offer. Being next to the starbucks I decided to try it for lunch — I had a greek salad with turkey and my goodness it was beautiful. For my first time I was not expecting much since it is a small place but discovered all the ingredients are ORGANIC WHOLE FOOD (confirmed by chatting with the owner). I could tell the quality of meat they use is very good with no additives and hormones even, compared to an expensive sit down restaurant the quality by far surpasses. After that had some of their yogurt and again it was also delicious — I am usually not a big fan of yogurt because of all the sugar added in but this was perfect, not to mention a good source of PROBIOTICS.
