Great place to grow as a person. You’ll get fit, learn many life skills, how to defend yourself, you’ll raise your self confidence. I definitely became a better version of myself because of Alex Palma and his team. I see the world in a different way and because of them I feel that I am able to take on anything life throws at me. The Muay Thai and boxing instruction is top notch. One of the top places to train in the country is right here at Blue Ocean.

At this gym you really learn the craft of striking with a blend of Dutch style kickboxing and traditional Muay Thai, as well as old school boxing classes. The atmosphere is friendly, laid back, and conducive to learning. There is a reason why seasoned pros and amateurs train here.

Best Muay Thai program in San Diego! Both my son & I train here and it feels like family. Kru Alex and all of his trainers are very professional, teaching with a progressive approach. This place cares about learning the right way. They believe its important to learning proper mechanics slowly and not rushing to just kill it in the ring. They groom their fighters well and care for their health. They believe in the culture and original tradition of Muay Thai. I still have a lot to learn, and I am proud to say I have received the best experience, & knowledge from Blue Ocean!

The instruction here is top notch. They are STACKED on coaches. You’re training with the best, which only makes you better. Everyone here is super nice and welcoming. You don’t get that elitist feel that some other gyms tend to have. Everyone feels like family.
