Hands down best shoppe in the county. Johnny is the best when it comes to client experience and knowledge of craft beer, wine and my favorite, tequila. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. The selection is amazing and seems like it gets better and bigger every time I go in. Truly a treat to shop here. Keep up the good work!

Huge selection of craft beer and ciders, wine, and spirits. Priced a bit on the high side but for convenience it’s not so bad. They have quite a few selections of ciders that I haven’t been able to find elsewhere. The employees are friendly.

The fanciest looking liquor store on El Cajon blvd. The employees are friendly and helpful. They have a huge selection of craft beer. Not a big selection of wine, but decent enough that when you’re in a jam and need some wine now it’ll do just fine. It is a little pricey in my opinion but due to the beer selection, friendliness of employees, and the aesthetics of the store, we come back regardless.

Very cool store with a huge selection of craft beer throughout and hard liquor all behind the register. They have a friendly neighborhood vibe that I like-​a lot of regulars kept popping in to play Powerball or some Lotto game. I’d only been in once or twice and it had been a while but I had time to kill before grabbing the kiddo and I’m trying to build up some alcohol reserves at the hizouse so I wanted to see what they had.
It’s a bit overwhelming considering I don’t drink beer at all but I gravitate towards the fruity beers and found a peachy delish sounding bottle that I can’t wait to crack open along with a 2 for $ 10 on a pomme lambic Belgian Apple beer that I imagine would be great in a beer bread or beer batter for frying up cheese curds, too. Yum, the possibilities! But, I digress.
Anyway, I checked out and the guy said he was gonna get me a cup and I said ok cuz I don’t turn down free. He came back with a beer glass that came with the lambics and put my two bottles on either side, called me a special customer and sent me on my way! But, before that, the other cool dude that had been singing Red Hot Chili Peppers with no shame was getting the info from me on some Cruzan rum drink I was asking about and letting me know that he would see about ordering it if possible. He took my name and number and I left a happy customer. I was thinking ‘man, if he gets that drink for me, that would be really cool’. But I didn’t think he would put much effort into it because I had only been in there once and we were only talking about a couple of bottles of inexpensive run here.
Lo and behold, guess who leaves me a voicemail the very next day — Jon from Boulevard saying he found the Velvet Cinn and I could have it the next day if I want. I called him right back and found out it’s only $ 5 more than in the desert and that’s because he’s only ordering a single bottle for me! I feel so special, lol.
Anyway, I will definitely frequent Boulevard for my fruity craft beer and out of the ordinary spirit needs.

great selection that is continually updated. rare belgians, new releases, hard to find stock from other states (colorado, michigan) staff (john) knows exactly what youre looking for, every time. small selection of 6 packs, mainly a bottle shop, but HUNDREDS of awesome bottles. 5−10% overpriced on hard to find items, but TOTALLY worth it to get your hands on some pliny, pappy or cantillon. best shop in town.

A vast selection of California craft beer. Not only does Boulevard Wine & Spirits have local beer but also a good selection of regional craft beer. The other day I picked up a bomber of Anderson Valley’s Heelch O’Hops IIPA. It was delicious. I could get caught up I’m here because of the variety of beers.
Note: the beer selection is by far superior to the selection of wine. The wine selection is a work in progress. A coupe of gret pinot noir, but keep checking in.

They have a great selection of hard to find and unique beers. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledge and friendly and made great suggestions on things to try. If you like craft beer than this is a good place to find it.

This is one of my new favorite stores, they have a variety of beer & the customer service is really good ! I showed up & I instantly started a conversation with one of the employees & even gave me a beer sample, they’re very nice people & will show you around to explain what different beers they have. I will definitely be coming here more often !

Excellent selection of great craft beers. These people know what they’re doing and they have refrigerated case after refrigerated case full of the most sublime beverages. They are also generous with their time and knowledge and are capable of giving top notch recommendations to guide you if need be. Their beer selection is so stupendous, that I’ve not even ventured in to their wine or spirits section. They have ‘em though if you need a one-​stop shop.

The selection is really great and a huge draw, but the prices are a killer! Lots of options of beer, both cold and room temperature. Snack variety is great as well. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy from here, though. Just an average liquor store, in my opinion.

I’m not a big drinker, mainly just champagne and sometimes a cold beer with lemon (dos Equis to be exact lol). I live right down the street and go in typically on a Friday or Saturday night to get a little something. I prefer a specific type of champagne… Barefoot Pinot Grigio Champagne… it’s my favorite! A few times they had it until I bought them all. All the guys are beyond friendly and accommodating, they went out of their way to let me leave my name, number and the kind of champagne I specifically wanted. I was told they would order it and call me and that’s exactly what they did. Awesome customer service and they know me when I go in there and greet me with smiles and not to mention they didn’t display the bottles they ordered for me, they keep them in the back cooler and get them out specially for me when I walk in. Ahhh that’s what I love, my favorite drink, cold and stored away so nobody else can buy it! Thanks guys for going above and beyond to keep a customer happy! I will continue to buy beer and champagne from here when I need to take the edge off. By the way they have an awesome selection of liquor, beer, and wine for those who are interested

This is proof that City Heights is improving, and that liquor stores in inner city neighborhoods can be very classy. Pleasant atmosphere for those who enjoy the première brands of wine and spirits. It is worth a visit.

They have everything. Their hours suit the needs of every sort of booze hound. The guys who work there are too cool for school. Buy your hooch here.

This place is awesome, I come here often. The guy at the counter is friendly. They have a huge selection of craft beer, probably the largest I have ever seen. They also have many choices for alcohol too. And finally they have tasty snacks and ice cream if you are hungry. The prices here are good too.

They have the biggest selection of cold draft brews I’ve seen at any liquor store in San Diego. The prices are reasonable and the guy behind the counter is super friendly and he doesn’t judge when alcoholics come in to get something every single day. Good job my man!

I work across the street so I’m here daily for cigarettes and snacks. This place is like a small grocery store. They’re always stocked up im on goodies and ESPECIALLY ALCOHOL! The workers remember me as ways how sweet of them. Everything is affordable and very clean. Thank you!

This was the first liquor store I visited when my interest for beer grew!
I wanted to try them all at once!
They have plenty of choices, but not too much local stuff which I now know I can just go visit the brewery’s instead.
I was completely lost with all those choices, so I asked for help, they guys came to my rescue with lots of friendly suggestions.
Mainly I appreciated the fact that they didn’t treat me like an airhead and they were very helpful. They gave me tips on what to look for and great suggestions that are now some of my favorites.
They have a section of glasses for sale and some cool funny tshirts as well.
They always have some liquor gift sets at decent prices. I bought a bottle of Jack Daniels for my dad that came with a baseball cap and he loved it!
Before visiting this place my impression on liquor stores was very different, so much that I wouldn’t dare go in.
Now I know that I can go and find my favorite stuff, ask questions, buy a lottery ticket or perhaps a gift for my dad.
