Business Owner

Heather Shabestari, BS, IBCLC, CLEC is the owner of Breastfeeding Consultants of San Diego, LLC. She has helped many families with achieving breastfeeding success and thoroughly enjoys working with mothers and babies. Working as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant is rewarding and challenging and is the best job in the world! Heather has always had a knack for listening and figuring out problems and absolutely loves children. For the past 10 years she has volunteered her time at some level in children’s projects whether it be for fundraising, donating, or simply lending a hand. Her lactation consultant training was completed at the University of California — San Diego, which entailed intense course work as well as outpatient clinical hours of direct patient care. Her passion to continue to help others, especially new mothers and babies is the reason Breastfeeding Consultants of San Diego, LLC came to fruition.
