What to do when my Land Rover starts sounding like a monster truck every time I step on the gas? Take it to C&L of course.
Turns out it wasn’t a simple muffler fix but a busted catalytic converter plus a broken pipe next to the catty on the other side. Beyond no bueno.
Parts and labor at the dealer would have cost thousands but Don Luis came through for me as he has before and found a new, legit catty for a fraction of the price that will not cause me «modified vehicle» issues next time I go to get smogged. He also charged me very fair as always for labor, which included detailed soldering work.
I have found the best mechanic ever, and highly recommend C&L to anyone looking for quality, affordable and trustworthy auto services.

It’s dirty and dingy and it’s probably the last honest auto shop in San Diego! Good work, good price. No coffee or magazines in the waiting area. No waiting area. Honest auto specialists, what more do you need?
