When I’m creating a portrait I think first about the composition of my subjects and the style of lighting. The scope of artistic manipulation is abundant and I may try several effects before arriving at the final presentation. I aspire to create expressive, dreamy, romantic, nostalgic work that invokes a sense of serenity, elegance and beauty. Clients find that my guidance and direction through the creative process achieves desired results of images that captivate and hold a viewer’s attention.

History

Established in 1990.

I’ve had a passionate career in photography for 25 years and have enjoyed gaining a reputation for my signature style portraiture art. I am a photographer by trade but I consider myself to be a photographic artist and a custom designer of portraits. I approach each session from a completely creative standpoint and use advanced software to support my ultimate vision.

Years of study with a master photographer trained me in composing subjects for fluid composition while utilizing light to model and chisel faces. Those combined elements allow a two-​dimensional canvas to become a three-​dimensional perception in a final portrait. Participation in theater taught me styling and the ability to direct a scene for my subjects, allowing them to feel their role
