Not good at all. Grabbed a half sandwich/half salad for quick lunch during busy workday. The sandwich was awful(Bobbie) — bread was bad — maybe it would’ve been better toasted. In regards to the salad — they forgot to pack dressing and the lettuce was wilted and soggy looking. Didn’t even touch it. Will never come back.

The Bobbie is the best! And apparently voted one of the best sandwiches in America. Love this place and their sandwich/soup/salad collection. I come back about once a week on lunch breaks despite this being a bit of a drive from work.

We found this chain when traveling and stopped on St. George, UT. The Capastrami was so good, when we got back home we had to look up if there was a location near us. We live in North County, but the drive to San Diego to eat here is worth it. Best pastrami sandwich ever, hands down, no contest. Highly recommend.

Went into the shop in MV around 7:00 p.m. last night and ordered a sausage sub. It was very ordinary. Not like the many other sandwiches we have purchased in the recent past. The cashiers don’t really ‘sell’ the sandwiches. They mostly just take your money. I was the only new customer in the store at the time and it looked to me like the person who was making my sandwich was more interested in the basketball game on the TV than he was in making my sandwich. The food here can be very, very good, it just average(at best) last night.

First off, the only reason that I haven’t given this location 5 stars is my most recent visit. I bit into my sandwich and found a bone, I’ve emailed and have yet to get a response(I also tweeted and was replied to very quickly). Once I have received a response from mgmt, this will *hopefully* be changed to 5 stars. I have ordered quite a variety of items from this location and have only ever had one complaint(see above). I’ve had multiple meetings catered, ordered online, via their app, in person and I am always very happy with the results. The sandwiches are large and filling, they are pricier than a normal sub shop but that’s because the ingredients are better(again, in my opinion). The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable and food is usually ready pretty quickly. This is 100% my go to for sandwiches, I recommend the Bobbie for first timers because it’s their specialty; but my favorite is the Cole Turkey, the flavors go together really well.

Really really really disappointed with the change of quality. I used to frequent this place and haven’t been in about 6 months. Stopped in to get my favorite«capistrami» and it was nothing like it used to be. Literally even changed their bread, barely any meat, sprinkled coleslaw. The bread use to be so good just by itself, crusted in some crumbs. The meat would be over flowing and I would wipe my sandwich on the paper the get so dressing on my sandwich. Today it was so dry and bland I had to drink water just to swallow it. Booooo capriottis very disappointed in the lack of quality probably for profit gain.

Love The Bobbie & Slaw Be Jo! These sandwiches are so good and hold up well when we get them for picnics or to take to the beach.

Good stuff! Got the soup and half a sandwich deal. The sandwich was kind of skimp in terms of girth but it was tasty. The soup was also good. The customer service however was superb, super friendly and chill! Overall: 3 stars for food. 5 stars for customer service. Averages out to 4 stars!

One of my clients had left of sandwich tray so we tried they we absolutely delicious I was surprised there was no mayo or mustard for seasoning it tasted like a little oregano and basil and the sandwich was not dry at all and flavor amazing you could taste everything. This a place I will frequent often

I’ve been a Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop fan since I first had a bobbie way back in 2007 when I first moved to Ls Vegas. I’ve since had bobbies, Italians, capistramis, meatball and roast beef subs from Las Vegas; Atlanta, GA; Naples, FL, and parts forgotten. One quality that always strikes me about Caps is consistency, like consistently delicious sandwiches. Every Caps sub I’ve had has had the tough, chewy bread(in a good way) I love for sandwiches and always quality indigents for the filling. The value you expect for a lunch sandwich is there too, a medium(12″) is usually plenty to feed both my wife and I. I have been known to down a large(16″) by myself though. Today I found out about the Cap’s addicts app, a rewards app and store locator, now I never have to guess if my favorite sandwich shop is nearby!

Ah, Capriotti’s. I look back on my first day here and get butterflies, it’s that damn good. Even as I write this review, I’m noshing on a 9″ Capastrami, pipin’ hot, doused in Russian dressing and peppered in, well, pepper. If you’re a sandwich lover, come to Capriotti’s. If you’re from the east coast(OG shop in Wilmington, DE), check this place out. If you’re a fan of brash, hardworking customer service, you’ll love it here. The crew working here is mostly the same every time I come in and all of them kill it in all categories for a good time. The bread always comes out toasty and soft, the sandwiches are always flavorful and the fillings are 100% delicious. I’m sure everything is good on the menu, but the Capastrami is my go-to. I’ve recently tried the chicken cheese steak, the Bobbie, the cole turkey and the meatball. The Bobbie is absolutely amazing. As someone who can’t stand cranberry sauce, this sandwich had me rethinking my whole life. The meatball is also very good, especially if you’re a fan of subway style sandwiches. This place has vegetarian options also! Also, if you see yourself coming here often, get the app! They hook you up with a bunch of free stuff like chips, a drink and sandwich upgrades. Just recently, they had a final four promotion where if you tried 4 sandwiches, you get one free. I’m eating the free one now! Only negatives I can think of, the music is pretty bad but you can hardly hear it most of the time. Also, the location is a little whack but I still make the drive to come out here weekly. Awesome place, 10⁄10.

ehh this place was okay. I wanted to have a good sandwich in the area and saw the great reviews from Unilocal.got there and there was a sign that said cash only– something to do with their machine. well good thing I had cash on me! I got their«famous» Bobbie sandwich, which had turkey, stuffing, and cranberry. hubby got the slaw be joe, which had roast beef and cole slaw. they were ok, I think it would’ve been better if it was toasted.

Anytime I’m in a new town I rely on Unilocal for recommendations from other foodies, but this place was a huge disappointment. The bread was stale and overall it was definitely far from«the best sandwich in the world» as advertised. The atmosphere is comparable to a Jimmy Johns and nothing about this place screams 4 or 5 stars like everyone continues to rate it! I got the Turkey Cole, and the actual meat and toppings were decent tasting(which added a star) but the quality of the bread completely masked that and made it unappetizing. Will not be returning for more!

This place is so good! I’m glad I found this spot. I got the turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce(forgot what it was called) & it was soooooo delicious! My boyfriend got the philly cheese steak, & omg. I’m definitely getting the Philly cheesesteak next time! You can get a combo with a drink & your choice of chips. Ambiance was super casual, pretty similar to Which Which & Subway. Service was fast & friendly, always a plus. I would recommend this spot & can’t wait to go back!

I stopped in for a quick lunch and to check on work emails while I ate. I knew nothing about this place accept that it was next door to a Starbucks, so I figured I could connect using Starbuck’s wifi. I asked the girl at the order register what they were know for and she told me about the Bobbie. I almost started laughing because it sounded like something they has just whipped up for the week. I figured it would be okay and definitely something I wouldn’t order again, but I was willing to take a chance. The sandwich came pretty quickly, and my first bite surprised the hell out of me. It was moist turkey, sweet cranberries, and tasty stuffing that was fantastic. I ate half the 9 inch sandwich and figured I’d take the other half home so my wife could try it. I’ll definitely be back.

Love, love, love that Bobbie. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I’m going to have to hold myself back from getting another, but seriously, it’s so good. Great little place for lunch, the food is always fresh and the service quick — necessary when you’re trying to get yo money’s worth on a quick little lunch run.

I have a love it/leave it relationship with this place. The Capastrami is good but the dressing is pretty sweet so if they are heavy handed, it ruins it for me. The flip side is, it can be dry if they don’t put enough dressing on it. So you have to hope the person making it knows a good balance of ingredients. The Bobbie isn’t something I’d ever order again. It was dry as a bone! The turkey was waaayy over cooked. I said it was like saw dust. So I would not take my chances with that again. The place is small and I always have to ask them to clean the table for me… so it’s just not a home run for me.

This place has Horrible service and charged us extra for fried onions and crushed peppers and didn’t put either one on our sandwich! And my mother cracked her tooth on a piece of BONE in her turkey sub!!! NEVERAGAIN!

For a sandwich place, Capriotti’s is pretty good. While Subway tastes a lot like processed meat, Capriotti’s has a fresher taste and offers some variety from the norm. I usually order the Chicken Cheesesteak with peppers and hot onions, and it’s an awesome and filling sandwich. Has good spice from the hot peppers and great taste from the freshly cooked meat and onions. Good stuff and would recommend it if you’re in the area.

Was very impressed with the veggie burger and veggie turkey sandwiches. The veggie turkey did not have a faux meat or tofurkey flavor profile from what I could tell. It was a legitimate vegetarian sandwich. Though their food prep etiquette would likely make most vegans cringe I’ll definitely return. Just be prepared to request the sandwich makers swap out their plastic gloves after handling the house meats.

The employees seem less than amused which makes it a sad place to eat in at. The sandwich is very good though follows through with the rest of the chain, probably won’t go back though because of the atmosphere

Had tried this sandwich shop in Las Vegas off Sahara and was excited to see it here. Enjoyed the experience and food was great. However, seems that same quality and flavor from this franchise took a dive when they opened up in mission valley. Besides that, prices are too high; for example a 4 oz bag of chips is $ 2.99 and wasn’t posted on the menu over the register. Surprise ! Anyway, not sure if it’s a franchise issue or just this store or just the fact there isn’t any east coast style sandwich shops in the area to drive quality through competition. You got two stars because the girl at the register was polite.

Called in an order and it was ready in no time! Got the Bobbie(holy moly, delicious!) and the Capastrami. Both were absolutely to die for. I’d go back right now if I could. Great customer service and clean inside & out. Will be back soon! Also, if you have one of those Entertainment coupon books, they have a free 9″ sub with no purchase necessary. Win!

This is a convenient location in a small shopping complex with a good amount of parking for the mix of stores. I’ve been here 5 or 6 times and the service has always been quick and friendly. The sandwiches have been consistently good. The spacious restroom has always been clean. The only knock is that they don’t honor their Entertainment Book coupon.

Capriotti’s is a sandwich shop that serves freshly made sandwiches with good quality ingriedients. The shop is located opposite of mission valley mall in the plaza with starbucks. Hold it home, and the kebab shop. Parking is plentiful. Diners can eat indoors or outdoors. I’ve had multiple sandwiches from them but the most memorable one is the Bobbie. This sandwich is a turkey dinner all in one. Eat one and you’ll be reminded of thanksgiving. The sandwich is filled with turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing which is what a turkey dinner is. The mixture of these ingriedients inside a baguette is a wonderful idea that i have not found anywhere else. Prices and sizes are good too. The entertainment book has a coupon for a free sandwich so check it out.

I was at the pet store and wanted to grab a sandwich to bring to work for lunch, and Capriotti’s appeared before me. They were quick and friendly. I got the turkey cole, which was different than what I expected. I’m not sure it’s as flavorful as I would have liked, but the regular is HUGE. I’ll definitely give it another try.

Had the Italian sausage and it was bomb! Just the right amount of seasoning. Everyone is friendly, quick and efficient. Highly recommend. Update: 5÷20÷15 What happened? Is it a new vendor you have for the Italian sausage? I just can’t get over the fact of how disappointed I was that my Italian sausage wasn’t HOT(as in spicy), like before. Here’s the thing, if you’ve been in business THAT long, why do you only sell plain sausage? Enough people in the world love hot Italian sausage that I can’t believe you never thought of adding it. For that long being in business, surely you must’ve thought of it? Won’t be returning.

Limited menu but great flavors. MTO, so a short wait for the food. Soft, fresh bread and quality meats. Let me pause here and say, I’ve been spoiled by the ALLTIMEBESTTGIVINGCREATIONEVER(Gobblerito… Mad Mex… I’m looking at you!). Continuing… The Bobbie was good but was a little dry and needed something to break up the sweetness of the cranberries and the breadiness of the roll and stuffing — better balanced out with a little lettuce from home. The Capastrami was very good, great combination of flavors and ratio of ingredients. Can’t say I’ve found my favorite Capriotti’s sandwich but I’m sure I’ll be back again to try to find it. Polished off a 12″ no prob. Unilocal and Groupon deals make this place even sweeter… check them out before you stop by.
