Great little Pirate Shop in Seaport Village. I love Pirate stuff and it has alot of it.

Awesome store! Great merchandise and music playing while you shop. We stop every time and it’s always a great time with family.

Pretty cool stuff. Nice place to stop into for a variety of decently priced souvenirs.

MY kids and I love this place. Even before we moved to San Diego this place was always on our to do list. They have everything you need for your pirate attire. They people that work there are always super nice and patient with kids. The only thing i wish is that the store was bigger. I always feel so crammed.

Great place to get your pirate fix!!! They have a lot of cool decorations and old guns! Mark was very helpful and knew a lot about all the products. He was very helpful in choosing a gun! A great place to have fun.

Captain’s Cove is such a cute store! I love anything with a nautical theme, and this store has tons of great stuff. This seems like such a fun (and appropriate) store for a shopping center like Seaport Village!
My son thought the pirate themed items were great! There were clothes for adults and children alike. I thought the onesie that said «I smell trouble» was just too cute. They have pirate shirts and hats. The huge selection of guns was truly unique. There were lots of signs, plaques, and even wall art. There are items even hanging from the ceiling here.
The nautical items are my favorite things to explore here. Brass bells, signs, and clocks are throughout the store. I really like lighthouses, and we found the cutest jewelry box and snow globe. We liked them so much that we ended up buying both. They had some nice compasses and clocks that would make nice gifts for anyone who likes nautical stuff.
The service was good here too. The salesperson who rang up our items was both thoughtful and sweet. She made sure to ask if we found everything we were looking for and wrapped our items with such care. She was also very knowledgable about the items here too.
If you’re anywhere near Seaport Village and need to buy a gift for someone who likes nautical or pirate themed items, you’ll never go wrong with stopping by Captain’s Cove for a unique gift!

I love this store. Great, fun stuff at amazing prices. I saw the exact same item in the village at twice the price. Patrick, who processed my order made my day. Super friendly and hilarious! Not just that — he went out of his way to point out a few more attractions in the area to make my stay memorable. And he did — he really stood out from the crowd :)

Tons of nice items and great prices! Other stores carried some of the same items and charge $ 3-​$ 5 more then here sure to come back here the next time I’m in town!

This is a kewl store. We drove from La to Sd to look for some pirate gear. We found a few little things that would do us some good for our costumes. We were disappointed in the hat selection. When in town we will probably stop back in to see if any new trinkets catch our eye …

Visited the captains cove while walking around downtown San Diego and seaport village. Great little shop with cool and some unusual items. They have nice jewelry and some pirate props like guns, hats, patches, etc. The shop is ran by some nice and attentive employees who are not pushy like some of the shops around .
Will be visiting this shop again.

I couldn’t believe I hadn’t noticed this store before.
Walking in there I thought I was at Disneyland, with the pirate music and all the pirate gear.
It is reasonably priced for being in seaport village, the two people that were working were very nice and the stuff was super cute. I ended up getting my friend a «poop deck» sign. It made me giggle.
Aside from the pirate stuff they also have a great amount of nautical «stuff». Like anchors, ship wheels and such.
Can’t wait to go back with more $ to really get everything I wanted.

We bring the family to Sea Port Village twice a year… and the kids all know Captains Cove is my favorite shop. The crew is always fantastic and when they get into character for the kids its just that much more entertaining. Great job

Cant believe all the great stuff that this place has for either Renaissance Festival or Halloween you cant beet there prices.

What great customer service! The new employee Patrick and his Manager, as well as the supporting employees really made the experience enjoyable. So good, in fact, I agreed to purchase a t-​shirt that I need to lose a few pounds to fit into comfortably. They signed me up for a repeat buyer’s club, and allowed me to try the fabulous rum cake samples, a few bites of every flavor. I was happy to assist in Patrick’s training indirectly and look forward to returning to seaport village and shopping here again. It concluded a great day out in San Diego Perfectly. All my ARRRRRR! belong to this store and it’s staff!

Cool ocean knickknacks :)

Fun shop! Walked in the door, and there was Jimmy Buffet music playing, a cool vibe, and lots of interesting items for gifts, souvenirs, or for the house. Most the stuff had a beachy, nautical, pirate, or mermaid theme. Some very cool sailboat Christmas ornaments w/​cloth sails. Friendy staff, too!

We really enjoyed this store, they have great nautical, pirate, mermaid themed items. They have a pretty unique collection of stuff and have a friendly staff. My husband has been looking for a boatswain’s whistle for quite some time. We saw one at the Renaissance Faire in Irwindale but it costs too much, but found the same one at Captian’s Cove for only about $ 14 bucks. One of the employee dresses up as a pirate and looks like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean. He was super knowledgeable about the items in the store. We saw a lot of cute ornaments, posters, signs, clothes, lamps, figurines at very affordable prices. Definitely one of our favorite stores in Seaport Village.

I didn’t find ANYTHING that was remotely worth the money. Gift stores usually have a few items that catch my attention but nothing in Captain’s Cove sparked my interest.
But then again, none of the stores in Seaport Village are truly worth checking out.

All of my rennie friends who also enjoy all things pirates — would love to get set loose in this shop! As I entered, I noted the background music playing was Sea Shanties!
There were some rather large decorative piratical items I would loved to have secured for next year’s Privateer Feast (annual fundraiser for breast cancer research where everyone dresses like pirates, gets drunk, and spends money on raffle tickets and auction items).
Since I did not have room to haul any large booty and loot back to Virginia with me — the guys running the shop advised me they have a web site and they ship!
