When a car rolled into my CTS and caused minor bumper damage I immediately thought to process the insurance claim and have the body work completed at Carter Collision because Carter Collision is located on-​site at Marvin K Brown, and I have maintenance and repair work performed on my car nowhere other than Marvin K Brown.
The other driver’s insurance (Geico) was footing the bill and, naturally, made me go quite out of my way to have the body work done at the shop of my choice, but Carter Collision was well worth the extra effort.
Since the beginning of my insurance claim adventure in May I appreciated that Carter Collision had been very responsive to my questions, and turnaround time for scheduling appointments was fast. I especially appreciated that I was able to get my car into the shop very quickly after I met with the Geico Adjuster in early August because there’s a chance I may be moving out of state within the month. It was important to me that the repair work began ASAP after I met with the Geico Adjuster, and Carter Collision understood my potentially urgent situation and was more than accommodating.
Ryan Swanson – young guy, really friendly, professional, personable, big smile. I’m so glad he was the one who worked on my car the 4 days my car was in the shop. His work went above and beyond my high expectations. My car’s bumper is now pristine, and Ryan went out of his way to try to smooth out a nasty little ding and some light scratches on the trunk as well.

Automotive is a very competitive industry… There is a lot more to it than just performing the basic job at hand.
the work performed on my Hummer was decent. The integrity of the staff is suspect at best. I had been informed by Mary, the Office Manager that my Hummer had been repaired and ready for pick up. I returned my Rental unit to Enterprise, only to arrive at Carter Collision to find out that my Hummer WAS NOT IN FACT READY! (It would be another two days before it was ready)…And now I was CAR LESS! They stated that they would compensate me for the rental until the Hummer was ready. This came to $ 60.08 for the rental, This was confirmed by Mary and Ryan… That I would be compensated. One week passes and no check. Upon calling the Marvin K. Brown location… I spoke to Matt. He informed me that he will NOT BE SENDING ME A CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT, THAT HIS STAFF AGREED TO!
This company does NOT value the customer or honor the words of there staff members. There is NO room for a company of this low caliber in such a modern competitive industry of today.

I went today to take my car in to get it repaired. Originally I wanted to go to the Dealership body shop, but instead it was this Carter Collision Service company. So, I thought what the hey I’ll just leave my car with them and have them fix it thinking the price would be reasonable. When I got the estimate with the itemized statement I was horrified! The cost for repair came out to about $ 4000. Mind you I only needed 3 panels replaced on one side of the lower part of my car and a small area on the right side with a 2X2 panel. The total parts cost was ONLY $ 300 and they charged $ 2000 for labor cost and then another $ 1000 for paint labor and another $ 600 for paint supplies! That definitely seems unreasonable. Every person I talked to about this was surprised at how high they quoted me. RIDICULOUS! Best to go somewhere else for an estimate if you have to pay for everything on your own. Actually I don’t know if you could rely on them even if insurance covers or the dealer covers it since their estimate was CRAZY HIGH! Complete waste of time and energy.

Over the top service! On Monday, I took my car back to have my car hood repainted that was under warranty. They had repaired and painted it in 2004. I expected to have to set up an appointment and return, but was offered a rental car at their expense and was told my car would be ready on Wednesday at noon. They completed the job as promised and it was ready when I was told it would be ready. I was very pleased with Carter’s exceptional service all the way around! Thank you Carter’s!!!

My insurance company recommended this place to me after I had a minor issue leaving my parking space at my condo. I was able to get my car into this autoshop the same day. I had some fairly extensive damage to the left rear of my car.
The people at Carter Collision were very polite and helpful, and they even got the job done ahead of schedule. They told me it would take two weeks, but they finished it in a little over a week.
The repair was great except that my left rear blinker didn’t work when I got the car back. I took the car in a few days later and they fixed it for me in about 5 minutes. I don’t use body shops much, but their prices seemed in line with most other places. I had to have my rear left bumper replaced and the frame was slightly disfigured under the bumper. Also, the whole taillight probably had to be replaced. The repair was slightly under 2k in sum.
