Charlie’s Butter truly began with the birth of Charlie’s son. When he was old enough for table foods, Charlie wanted to offer him a special yet relatively healthy treat, so she began making her own cinnamon butter for cinnamon toast at home and he absolutely loved it. Charlie casually discussed her creation with friends which led to sampling & it was an instant hit! Her circle knew she was on to something amazing & they all began encouraging her to market her tasty creation. With a «go for it» attitude, she decided to hit the ground running & launched Charlie’s Butter, putting in countless hours in the test kitchen, experimenting until she got it just right. The original cinnamon butter has since been expanded upon, as well as new, exciting recipes & savory flavors being born. Charlie is proud to use only the finest ingredients & it is her sincerest wish to share her tasty vision with people everywhere. Born in Washington, D.C., Charlie moved to Los Angeles, California in 2003 just after college to experience the beautiful west coast life. It was there that she met her husband and also where their son was born. Their son, Chase, is the inspiration for this brand and the flagship product, cinnamon butter. Charlie’s family reloacted to San Diego, CA in 2011 and have fallen in love with the city. It was in San Diego where Charlie finally decided to turn her butter into business.
