I recently played harp for a wedding up in the Redwoods officiated by Jeanne Burke of Circle of Life Ceremonies. Every aspect of the wedding was carefully thought out and the ceremony was just perfect. The couple wrote their own vows, Jeanne surprised them with a wonderful presentation of thoughts and expressions she had learned from them during the wedding counseling. There were several wonderful Native American poems that fit the amazing setting of the majestic Redwoods. The ceremony was deeply spiritual, wonderfully touching, appropriately individual, and magically woven. I play for weddings all the time and this was one of the nicest I’ve had the honor of attending.
