Located in the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in San Diego, the only reason to dine here is the convenience if you’re staying at the hotel. As with many restaurants in lower tier hotels, there’s nothing special about this place. Although it does have good happy hour specials like specialty margaritas. On the night I went it was a roasted pineapple margarita. Ordering only from the HH menu, I also had battered and fried fish (cod) tacos ($ 3) that weren’t bad; mozzarella sticks ($ 3) that were heavy on breading and light on cheese; and BBQ chicken wings ($ 3) — crispy and meaty but the BBQ sauce came on the side as a dipping sauce.

Stopped by for lunch. Place had a couple of people in it eating lunch. I ordered the cobb salad which took a long time to get. The chicken on top was neither warm or cold, kind of in between. Tomatoes were fresh, lettuce was mixed greens that were okay. I ordered blue cheese dressing. They may have made it from scratch was kind of a cross between italian and blue cheese.
Service was painfully slow.

A rather narrow selection of meal options, but they’re done well. I often visit right after breakfast, as lunch begins. It’s usually not crowded, so service is rather fast. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have not been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. I just wish they expanded their selection. Also, the menu needs to be updated because I was told they no longer serve potato pancakes. In all, I recommend visiting.

We came here for mother’s day brunch. the food was ok, nothing great. the garlic mashed potatoes were like cement. there was a lot less variety than the last time we came and the prices went up.

This restaurant is really GOOD and has great service! I ordered room service and they brought it up in under 30 minutes. The cobb salad was delicious, but you have to order blue cheese on the side because it comes with Italian dressing. The BLT was also really delicious. It is also really reasonable which is great! Definitely going to come back often!

Came here for a business dinner. Nice restaurant in the Sheraton hotel.
Our server Will was patient and attentive, but not bothering.
I ordered a margarita to drink and the New York Steak. I didn’t finish the margarita, not because it wasn’t good, but because it was strong.
The New York Steak was cooked to perfection! It was a large portion and served on a bed of mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables.
The owner of the hotel happened to be there and picked up our meal. The only thing better than a fabulous meal is a fabulous free meal.

Stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday night. It was pretty slow. Service was decent. It was not fast or slow. Ordered a burger and it was pretty good. It was a good old fashion basic burger with fries. I would probably eat here again since it is close to home and I wasn’t in the mood to cook.

Citrus once again offers weekly Salsa dancing — now on Saturday nights from 8pm to 1:30am (with a «free» group salsa class from 8:30 — 9:15pm included in the $ 10 cover charge). The 2 DJs remain the same but the hosts/​class instructors change each week. The venue is usually less crowded and often attracts better”/“more experienced dancers than most of the other Saturday night salsa venues. Parking is free — but water is not.

Thank you for losing our reservation and ruining our Mother’s Day brunch. Trying to seat us at a table literally attached to the door where people might step on us is not an okay solution to your mistake. We ended up at islands for Mother’s Day since all other places were booked and we did not have a chance to make another reservation. Will never recommend this place to anyone due to very poor customer service. Situation was not handled as it should have been. You should be ashamed to be part of Sheraton hotels.

Beware that they now charge $ 10 at 8:30 PM. The Salsa lesson starts a bit after that on Friday nights. The instructors are great, but not enough people to dance with unless you come as a couple or have been attending lessons with that instructor a long time.

I can’t necessarily speak for the restaurant but I’ve been to the club part. Salsa dancing Friday & Saturday night. Awesome time. Nice size dance floor, great crowd, drinks, friendly staff, and great music. It’s a lot of fun
Parking is near the door, security is very nice & friendly. Overall great spot to get your salsa on.

My co-​worker and I came in right at 5 when they opened and immediately noticed that we were the first customers of the evening. We were greeted by Cassidy the fine looking bartender. She made it known that we were going to be treated well, and we were. 4 dollar well drinks for happy hour and good conversation. At around 6 we went to our class across the street. At this point we were quite buzzed up and decided that working on a computer wasn’t the best thing for us at that moment. We then proceeded to turn off our computers and go back to Citrus to enjoy more spirits. We were given a celebratory shot that made us feel as if we were sitting on a beach in a corona commercial. Cassidy provided some more casual small talk and some more drinks and then we parted ways. I would like to go back for Karaōke on Thursdays.

I can’t speak for the restaurant itself, but I can say the Salsa on Friday and Saturday is great. Majesty in Motion and A Time to Dance instructors alternate each night and teach beginner classes at 8:30pm and then open the floor for Salsa as well as some Bachata, Mambo and Cha-​Cha. Often they’ll have brief performances by the team dancers which are a nice break after dancing several hours straight.
They serve beer, wine and mixed drinks by the dance floor and have a full-​sized bar around the corner from the floor. The staff both at the door and at the bar are very mellow and actually smile ;) The air-​conditioning is good and you can always walk right outside for a nice cool breeze if you choose.
Both the dance floor and the parking lot stay open enough to come late and move around. Big kudos for recently opening up for Salsa on Saturdays — this really helps keep the dance floor from getting too packed (read: like Marriot).

It sucks. I had the lunch buffet which without a drink came out to $ 10.88. They also weren’t ready to deal with customers when lunch started.
Positives
If you are at the hotel and need food without going anywhere.
Negatives
Food is poorly cooked.
Small selection of food for a buffet.
Setup is poor, had no serving tongs for the small sushi roll selection, they were also all stacked on each other so I ended up finding chopsticks and using those to get them on my plate.
Very basic service, basically clear your plates and fill your drinks.
Honestly my stomach was upset for the rest of the afternoon. I was sorry I wasted my time there. Considering the location of the hotel they have chosen to bank on the fact that there is little in walking distance so people are stuck going there. They should in fact take that as a challenge and wow people so they come there for lunch even if they aren’t guests.
