The design process was great — they really listened to what we had in mind and created a design that exceeded our expectations. The new site looks and works much better than our previous one.

I started my own business about 12 months ago and needed to find a programer & designer to build our website. Launching a new business is difficult, and finding trustworthy responsive partners as you turn your idea into a reality, can be overwhelming. That’s why I was so thrilled to find Crown Point Design. They not only built me a wonderful, high functioning website, but also, patiently explained to me (not a super tech savvy person) how to make updates to it on my own. They came to my office (yes they are actually local) and gave me a tutorial. I have a small business and I have been working with Crown Point Design for the past several years. They are fantastic! They have helped me with my website and are always very professional and quick. Twice in our business’ history, we’ve chosen the wrong Web site company. The first time was because the designer put everything in Flash (our bad choice at the time) and worked only when he wanted to so it took him 4 months to get the project done. The second time was because the Web site company nickle-​and-​dimed us to death and it was constant fighting with them about over-​billing and under-​performing.
On June 5^th, I sent three emails to Web site design companies with great reviews here on Unilocal … one never got back to me and another got back to me on June 17^th, but Scott, the owner of Crown Point Design, got back to me within eight minutes. I couldn’t believe his quick response time and enthusiasm for our project so I knew we had the right company on our side for the first time in our 15+ year history.
Scott had dozens of excellent suggestions, was very communicative in all aspects of the partial redesign, delivered the project on time, and came in at a quarter of the price for twice the work of our most recent Web site company. His crew there was also excellent in helping us with our move to a new Web host and email server. Scott is also all about enabling your company to manage your own Web site which is huge to us … I like making lots of changes and now I can, it’s not some big «no, we have to do it and charge you» with a secret login like our most recent company. He has empowered us to 85% of what I’m capable of on the Web site. And he’s there and enthusiastic for the other 15% that we will have him do for us.
Remember, how a business treats you on your initial contact will be indicative of the future of the project. Scott did way better than we ever expected and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending him to anyone and everyone!
