I’ve used Ryan for my 25′ cabin cruiser maintenence and repairs. He is honest, competent and reliable. I’ve owned boats my whole life and this guy is the real deal. His prices are very fair, sometimes I feel like paying more for the convenience of his mobile service and efficiency. I like that he is a local small guy who knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him!

Not much to add to what has already been said about Ryan and Dockside Mobile Marine. Ryan in honest, conscientious and thorough. Because there are so many shady mechanics out there, it makes Ryan’s service stand out even more.
I look forward to working him for a while, as I want to get many more hundred hours out of my outboard and I will achieve that with his help and expertise.

Ryan repaired my inboard Yanmar on my 37′ yawl. He came to the dock and rowed out with me since the boat was at a mooring. He was prompt, courteous and fairly priced. He did an excellent job repairing. He had to return to the boat to finish the job and he rowed out on his own without my having to escort him. Honest and likable. I don’t want anyone else working on my boat.

Ryan fixed my Mercruiser outdrive. I observed him work and was impressed with his knowledge and skill. He organized a trailer to get my 28 ft. boat out of the water for the repairs saving me significant $$ over a boatyard. He is easy to work with, has good rates, flexibility and efficiency.

I found Ryan right here on Unilocal.I took a chance on a motor I knew nothing about on craigslist that had been sitting for a long time. He came at the time that we had arranged over the phone. After about 30 min of looking it over he let me know what was needed to get her running right and gave me the truth, instead of trying to milk me for more work. Came back for our next appointment and had her purring like a kitten. If you want a mobile mechanic that’s gonna give it to you straight, give Ryan a call. Had to make a Unilocal account just because I appreciated his honesty that much.

I found Ryan on Unilocal and had him service the Mercury engine on my 21 foot Bayliner. He did an excellent job. He is reliable, knowledgeable, time efficient and fairly priced. I would not hesistate to recommend him.

I found Ryan on Unilocal and figured I’d give him a shot despite an obviously misguided post by this David K fellow. I was fairly certain my gimbal bearings were shot on my bayliner and since I have little experience with marine repair figured I ought to call in a pro. Ryan was definitely that and after listening to my amateur diagnosis he ran some quick tests and got to work. It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing and didn’t even seem to mind me shadowing him trying to learn a thing or two.
We had her torn down and back in business in no time.
Ryan fixed what he said was going to fix, charged me what he said, took as long as he said and even gave me some pointers on fixing my ignition etc. I would refer this guy to any of my friends or family for marine repairs. As far as I’m concerned I’ve found my boat mechanic. On time, fair price, knowledgeable, patient with all my dumb questions and a nice guy what else could you ask for in a boat mechanic?

FYI, my name is Sean Lally, I wrote a review for Ryan last year and take exception with David K’s suggestion that Ryan is faking his reviews. I wrote a great review for Ryan because he did a great job and i was completely satisfied with his service
David K should consider that Ryan listed his business on Unilocal and then emailed recent customers. Those customers were so pleased that the very same day that Ryan emailed them they posted reviews.
I think it is very sad to think that David K may have cost Ryan some business

Ryan keeps my 1983 30’Catalina sloop alive and well. My Atomic Four has never sounded better. He has repaired and replaced lines for gasoline and waste with ease and has always answered my calls for «help». He is intelligent and relentless in his pursuit of perfection.
He stands by his work and he is a nice guy.
