I strive to help my patients achieve optimal health by using acupuncture, bodywork, and herbal medicine to treat a multitude of disorders, from acute and chronic pain to stress, insomnia, fatigue, and digestive problems. I combine traditional and modern acupuncture techniques, and almost always include massage in each individually tailored treatment. I accept most medical insurance plans, and aim to work with you to insure that treatment is affordable. There is no case too complicated or obscure; please call for your free consultation with any questions or concerns.

I specialize in treating acute or chronic pain, including that caused by overuse or stress, sports injuries, sprains, strains, muscle fatigue, cramps, spasms, headaches, low back pain, and sciatica. I also treat digestive, respiratory, and mental-​emotional disorders, insomnia, menstrual irregularities, and reproductive/​sexual disorders, just to name a few.

My career in integrative healthcare began in 2003 when I obtained my Massage Therapy License in New York State. I moved to San Diego 4 years ago to complete my studies in acupuncture at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and achieved a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine and California State Board Certification in 2009. During my studies I did various externships, including the UCSD medical school’s low income and senior’s clinics, and volunteered at the Veteran’s Stand-​down and public health expos.

A few of my bodywork specialties are deep tissue, trigger point therapy, pre/​peri-​natal massage, acupressure and hot stone massage, and I have successfully treated various musculoskeletal, digestive, respiratory, gynecological, immune and psycho-​emotional disorders using a combination of acupuncture, bodywork, and Chinese herbal medicine.

I believe it’s everyone’s right to be healthy in mind, body and spirit and work to awaken a person’s own natural ability to heal themselves.
