Love love love Dr. D and his whole staff! I have been going here (along with my whole family) since I was a child and I cannot recommend them enough! They are professional but friendly, funny, flexible, helpful and always on time. I particularly love Jane (reception) and Angela (hygienist) but everyone I have ever seen is amazing. Don’t go anywhere else!

I’ve been going to this dental office a very long time and I love the entire staff. They know my family, support my husband’s military service and always greet me with a smile… and they know my name!

Ok, so the Pros.
the staff is funny as hell and the TVs make you stop thinking about the fact that you are at the dentist while they poke and prod at your teeth.
The cons,
well, the dentist wanted to do unnecessary work, and in explaining it was condescending and rude. Perhaps that’s just his style, and I misinterpreted, but it made me uncomfortable and I did not like it.
I then made a schedule a week later and he didn’t even remember me. I expect someone who has had their hands in my mouth to remember me.
No thanks, never again.
But the people that love him, love him, so he might be exactly what you are looking for, but I had a one star experience both times and my rating reflects it.

Dr. D has been my dentist since 1999. I have had a lot of dentists and am usually not very satisfied. I have had some good dentists. But Dr. D is quite simply the best dentist I have ever had. He makes me what I call «dentist rich.» Let me explain why.
First, Dr. D could probably make more money by hiring some associate dentists to work with him. He does not do this because there is only one level of quality you get at his office — the best. And to get that he knows he has to do the work. Other good dentists I have had have impressed me at first only to hand me off to lesser quality associates.
Dr. D guarantees your satisfaction and the quality of his work. I have had a crown break years after it was put in to be told that it was under his warranty (3yrs/​5yrs?). Even more impressive is that I received the same quality care for a free repair that I received for work that I am paid for.
There have been a few dentists that have mastered the technique of putting the needle in to numb you for cavity or crown work, but Dr. D is the best and this part of any procedure is painless (and despite being a full grown male, I really am sensitive to dental pain). The worse pain for me, however, is having to hold my mouth open as I have a small opening. My mouth muscles will start to scream in agony quickly if I have to stay wide open for even a short period of time. Other dentists have had to constantly correct me during a procedure. Dr. D is somehow able to work around this problem. He also can offer you devices that will assist you in this regard.
Indeed, over the years I have consistently seen Dr. D update his materials and devices to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry. Someone this good might easily let himself think that he knows all there is to know about dentistry. But Dr. D still seems excited about constantly learning to be the very best in the industry.
He even updates his offices with new HD TVs. He already had TVs in every room with headphone audio, but he decided that was not good enough. He now has TWO HD TVs in every room so that you can easily view even when you are looking at the ceiling. TV not your thing? They will turn it off for you in no time. The rest of the office décor is very tasteful and surrounded by pictures of his current family and ancestors. Dr. D is a kind family man and it shows.
This concept of family extends to his staff. Dr. D sets the tone. He treats his staff like family, and they treat you like family. I have yet to meet someone on his sizable staff that I could not describe as pleasant. They do their best to accommodate my every request. They understand when I run a little late without so much as a disapproving look.
Quite simply the dental office of Dr. Disraeli is the dental office you wish for. I have recommended several friends and colleagues over the years, and they all have thanked me for introducing them to such an outstanding dentist. Dr. D is such a class act, he wants to send me a little gift basket for such referrals. I tell him I don’t need them. The favor I am doing is to those that I recommend to him. So let me do you this favor and recommend this fine office without reservation. You don’t even need to send me a gift basket.

It seems somewhat counterintuitive that my rating would indicate I LOVED visiting the dentist, but let me tell you, I absolutely DID. My husband has been going to Dr. Disraeli for some time now, and he finally convinced me to go, since we upgraded our dental insurance. I’m almost 30, and I’ve never had a real cavity. As I was bragging about this fact during my routine cleaning, it turns out, I had one! I was terrified at the thought of having my teeth drilled, and I’m especially fearful of needles. We’re talking a big baby, right here. Not only was Dr. Disraeli incredibly professional, funny, and amazing at what he was there to do, his entire staff is the same way. They had me laughing, and before I knew it, I was done. Dr. Disraeli even took the time to show me the needle after it had been used, to help assuage my fears. He explained the whole process to me, and as I was leaving made it clear I should monitor my bite to ensure it was proper after the anesthetic wore off. His work was on point, and I’m feeling great! I was able to go right back to work. If you are looking for the friendliest, funniest, most professional, high quality dentist, look no further! Thank you Dr. Disraeli, and thank you to your amazing staff for everything.

My first visit was yesterday, and I have to say I actually had fun going to the dentist! Everyone, from the front desk lady (Jane) to the hygienist (Angela) to the doctor himself were happy and a pleasure to be around. I was there for 2 hours for the full checkup, x-​rays and cleaning and really felt taken care of. You can tell the doctor is one of the best in his field too because he pointed out some things from the neat micro pictures he took that no other dentist has ever mentioned to me. He also took the time to explain the difference between porcelain and resin fillings, whereas in the past, they have just given me the most expensive option even when it wasn’t necessary. They also give you headphones so you can watch the TV in front or above you while they work. (I was completely entertained with a BBC bird documentary!) I will definitely be back. P. S. The office is a cute little converted house in Hillcrest and the historic pictures hanging on the wall in the waiting room are of his family! Apparently, his father and grandfather before him were dentists too.

I have nothing negative to say about this Office.
My molar cracked pretty badly, I called and they took me that day, no questions.
They attempted to prep the tooth as best they could, but I needed a root canal, they were very honest about pricing and explained everything to me.
If DDS Disraeli was under my insurance I would have gone back to him for the crown, but alas he was not.
The receptionist was funny and engaging.
They have TV’s on the ceiling, and I was able to watch a movie while they cleaned the damage up.
Here’s the kicker, I was in the middle of switching insurance companies and was unable to get the root canal done right away. Disraeli’s temporary cap lasted me from early December until the beginning of February. Temporary caps are only supposed to last a couple weeks. This say loads about his experience. Especially since I have experienced other caps fall out. (It’s terribly uncomfortable)
So five stars to a great staff, upfront honesty, and best efforts at keeping me comfortable.

I became a patient in 2011. Like most people, I absolutely HATED going to the dentist. I take great care of my teeth, but tend to let appointments and cleanings lapse. With other dentists, I always felt judged because of this. Dr. Disraeli is different. Never admonishes me and always treats me with utmost kindness and respect. He is patient and really takes his time to explain all options, processes and procedures which will both save me money AND ensure my teeth are in tact! All in all he’s a gem of a guy with a great office staff to boot. PLUS… he met me at the office on a SATURDAY morning when my crown broke… AND he was able to tell 1 or 2 good jokes for every 5 I told. :)

I absolutely love going to the dentist because of this place! I’ve been coming here for 17 years and only have positive things to say. Dr. Disraeli and every member of his staff are remarkably charismatic, attentive, and incredibly gentle to ensure there’s no discomfort during any procedure. The facility is completely spotless and has a convenient parking lot in the back so getting in isn’t an issue. Not to mention the movie and show list they provide is better than Netflix. I highly recommend this office to everyone whether you need a cleaning, filling, or good time!

Dr. Disraeli and his entire staff have taken great care of me since I moved to San Diego. I’ve done routine cleanings and exams as well as fillings in the office and they strive to make it as painless and entertaining as possible. I highly recommend them.

The office is clean, the staff are VERY friendly, and you get to pick what you want to watch while they do their work. They bill insurance directly and are upfront about pricing. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to for as long as I can.

I was really impressed with the customer service from all of the staff, including Dr Disraeli. I got to watch a movie during my cleaning and later Dr Disraeli thoroughly explained the condition of certain teeth. He was very precise and real. They also referred me to an awesome Oral Surgeon for my tooth extraction and I also Unilocaled them!!!

Something you should know about me, I work in a bank and I am completely vain about my teeth. Since I was a child, I have had so much dental work (2 sets of braces, bonding, etc…) done that its truly insane.
This weekend, I had a dental emergency, I chipped my front tooth and I was completely devastated! There was no way I was going to work looking like I just stepped off the set of «Swamp People». (I can say that, I’m proudly from the South)
Thankfully I know Dr. D and I had his number in my phone, he eased my distress and told me it was a quick fix and that he would try and squeeze me in before I went to work, Monday morning.
Not only did he fit me into his busy schedule, he took his time with my tooth repair to make sure I was 100% perfectly satisfied with the end results. My smile is once again perfect!

My wife and I didn’t go to the dentist for a full year due to some unpleasant and unethical experience we had with our previous dentist. So, we were a bit apprehensive when we first met Dr. Disraeli and his staff. I must say this office is so friendly, professional and very ethical. During our visit, we were first greeted by «Jane» the office coordinator and I must say she has an infectious smile and her warm personality made us feel at home. I had the pleasure of having «Deb» clean my teeth and she is a wonderful, very professional and thorough Hygienist. My teeth were so clean, I didn’t want to eat afterward and get it dirty! My wife also had a great, professional and upbeat Hygienist named «Patricia». Sitting in the next room, listening, I would say my wife found her Hygienist. It’s a perfect match. Oh, and what can I say, Dr Disraeli is a poster child for professionalism, full of ethics, caring and very gentle dentist. If I could give at least ‘TEN” stars I would to this office, can’t wait for my next appointment. Thank you Dr. Disraeli and staff for a great job. I would recommend this office to everyone.

Dr. Disraeli and his staff are outstanding! I have been his patient for the past 15 years of extraordinary dental care. I am now moved to write this review because a recent dental emergency has made me aware of just what an exceptional dental practice this is.
I had a dental flare-​up over the Labor Day weekend. I called Dr. on his cell phone and he immediately arranged to come into his rooms to examine my mouth. He drove all the way from his residence in N. County to his rooms in Banker’s Hill to attend to me! He kindly remained on-​call to me over the weekend and on Tuesday his office arranged for me to be seen by an ondodontist.
Everyone in his office is helpful, kind, and friendly. Moreover, I am always seen promptly, at the time of my scheduled appointment. For a busy working person, this is important!
I heartedly recommend this dental practice. They are all great!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Disraeli and his entire staff. I have never been to any doctor’s office that has such amazing, kind, genuine people working there. The front office staff is cheerful but not fake at all, and everyone seems genuinely happy to be working there.
The dental hygienists who have cleaned my teeth are fabulous. By far the most gentle and quick teeth cleaning I’ve ever had. And the dental assistants are the best, when I had a cavity filled one of the hygienists held my hand during the Novocain injections and was so sweet and kind.
And Dr. Disraeli himself is a true gem of a dentist. I have been to many dentists in my life, ranging from terrible to tolerable. But Dr. Disraeli literally takes all the pain and discomfort out of dentistry. He is kind, funny, and did an excellent job explaining everything to me before the procedure. He didn’t act rushed or like he had somewhere else to be. He took time to answer all my questions and never made me feel silly for asking what I am sure were very basic, «dumb» questions.
The cavity filling itself was completely painless and quick. He also managed to numb me in such a way that I felt nothing during the procedure, but the side of my face wasn’t totally numb, in fact I barely felt numb anymore by the time I got home and was completely fine an hour later.
Finding Dr. Disraeli is definitely the best thing that has ever happened to my teeth because I no longer have any fear or qualms whatsoever about going to the dentist. Him and his staff make the whole experience so pleasant. (Oh, and by the way, they have plasma flat screens in all the rooms and a huge selection of DVDs– TV and movies– for you to choose from to watch during your visit.)

I am not surprised at all Dr. D has all 5 star reviews. This is the real deal. I was referred to him 10 years ago by a friend. Three years ago I was laid off by a commodities trader and was unable to continue treatment (so I thought). With a new career, I returned in a panic after leaving work with tooth pain. Not only did they let me come straight there with my random frantic call, but the same team of familiar faces were there (which says a lot) to greet me. I seriously felt they were as happy to see me as I was them. They fit me in stat to accommodate my urgent tone (with several regular appointments already happily in their chairs when I walked in) and they COMPLETELY eased my racing mind. it felt like no time had passed and oh my God do I feel better. I was in tears going in.
I am a recruiter and make referrals to employees daily for dentists upon setting up dental benefits. I will be handing out Dr. Disraeli’s cards. That’s it. Period. Forever.
Most importantly, I was foolish to think that I couldn’t somehow continue treatment previously after being laid off. They made it clear as ever that I am their patient and he is my dentist no matter what. That’s the kind of dentist I want taking care of me. One who actually cares.

About 3 months ago I chipped my front tooth. Dr. Disraeli did an amazing job fixing it. The tooth looks completely natural, and I was in and out in less than an hour. But what makes Dr. Disraeli truly amazing is his sincere care for his patients… and their boyfriends.
While playing basketball my boyfriend’s dental implant was hit and damaged. It was a Friday night, and I wasn’t really sure who to call. I had Dr. D’s card, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I was surprised when I actually got through to him, and even more surprised when he proceeded to intently listen and give me advice. He then called a colleague of his who is an oral surgeon and left two messages. He called me back and told me he’d give me a call as soon as he heard back from him.
This alone would have been going above and beyond the call of duty, but Dr. D continued to beat my expectations. When he didn’t receive a call back from his colleague, he called another one. He got through to the second, and put us in contact.
Highly recommend Dr. Disraeli. Great dentist, Great person.

Without exaggerating I used to cry when I had to go to the dentist. I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 6 years, when I finally worked up enough courage to make an appointment. I Unilocaled to find a dentist and was led to Dr. Disraeli.
Seriously this by far has been the BEST Unilocal advice I have ever taken. Dr. Disraeli and his AMAZING STAFF, AMAZING facility make going to the dentist so much better.

Typically on any given day if you asked me to choose between jumping out of an airplane or going to the dentist, without a doubt my answer would of been jumping out of the plane. Well not so much anymore.
I came to this office because my husbands coworkers had referred us here. Of course I made my husband go first to feel it out and confirm that this dentist was as good as we were told.
He loved him and had such an amazing experience that it assured me I would have the same (fingers crossed).

All SO friendly and greet you with warm smiles. For a minute there I thought maybe they were confusing me for someone else because they were so nice it was as if they already knew me:-)
Dr Disraeli himself is very relaxed and has a comforting manor. He did a thorough exam and explained what he saw tooth by tooth. He really took the time to explain everything and listened to any questions I may have without feeling frustrated or making me feel stupid for any questions I may of had.
The procedures themselves are actually relaxing!!! This coming from someone that typically has to schedule a massage after dentist appts because I tense up so badly. When I was 9yrs old, I had a dentist slap me while I was getting a molar pulled because I was streaming and telling him it still hurt. His reply was that I needed to stop because I was making him nervous! Since then, my fear for the dentist has been off the charts!

I can’t say enough good things about this office.
They even provide movies with headphones for you to watch during the procedures which is a huge bonus to drowning out the noise of the drill.
