The ECT Environmental Staff includes trainers certified to teach Asbestos, Lead, HAZMAT, and OSHA 10 & 30 hour safety, Certified Site Surveillance Technicians, OSHA Safety Supervisors, CDPH Lead Workers, Project Monitors and Supervisors.

ECT Environmental, Inc. is an environmental and industrial hygiene practice that provides field and laboratory analysis of building environments and employee work practices.

History

Established in 1993.

ECT Environmental, INC. was originated as Environmental Compliance Training in San Diego, California in 1993 when Walter Amenta, CIH, developed an EPA approved training organization for certifying Asbestos workers, contractor/​supervisors, inspectors, and other professionals as required by EPA to work in schools and by OSHA for worker protection. Mr. Amenta acquired his California Certified Asbestos Consultant license (CAC), progressed to Industrial Hygienist I.T. (IHIT), and then achieved his Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

The company was incorporated in 2003 with the partnership of the two existing principals Walter Amenta, CIH, CAC, and Shaun Cornish, CAC.
