I ran the Rock n Roll marathon this past Sunday and the very next day I decided to get a tattoo to commemorate it. I did a quick Unilocal search on local shops and Eden came up with great reviews. I called to see if they happened to have any open spots and they fit me in later that afternoon. I described to Jeff what I was looking for and he came up with an awesome design. Not only is he talented, he’s meticulous. He took his time prepping and, checked and triple checked the colors to make sure they were right. Awesome experience. Thank you!

My friend and I went to Eden today to get two small tattoos. Jeff was our artist, and I can’t thank him enough for being so awesome. He was able to squeeze us into his day, whipped up exactly what we wanted, and had oh so much patience and good humor — which you need to deal with us, because we think we’re funny. All of the artists we interacted with were so nice and went out of their way to talk to us; it made all the difference in an atmosphere than can sometimes be intimidating (read: other tattoo places). Speaking of the facilities, it’s super clean, had good music on (classic rock), and had great, quirky decorations; it’s small and homey and I love it. I’m so glad we went to Eden, and now I need to start thinking about how else to permanently alter my skin so I can go visit again. Thanks guys (and lady), you rock!!!

I walked into this little shop with no expectations. Just wanted to check it out since I drove by it almost every day, and was in search of an artist to take my tattoo virginity without having to sit on a wait list for a year and a half. Matty was the one to greet me and the person I came in with. Super friendly dude, definitely set the tone for the rest of my experience! He asked a few questions, encouraged me to browse through the artist galleries, and then we left! No pressure. Cool.
I ended up falling in love with something about Rebecca’s art style. Contacted her, set up a consult, and got slapped in the face with a 6 month appointment date. Alright, it’s ok, it’s gonna be worth it! So I wait. And wait. And wait some more. When the day finally comes, I’m all nerves and anticipation. 5.5 hours later, I can honestly say I would have gladly waited a year and a half. This wasn’t no fucking pizza tattoo, ok? it was a piece very personal and dear to my heart, and I could not be happier with the way it turned out!
She has a lot of pride in her work, you can tell. And being somewhat particular and hard to please myself, I could appreciate that kind of attitude in someone who’s going to be placing something PERMANENT on my body. Call me old fashioned, but tattooing can be a very emotional and intimate thing. You are asking a person to create something on you; there’s an exchange, and there should be an understanding of humility and respect. So I’m honored to have had her as my artist!
ANYWAY, the shop was clean and professional. Everyone was friendly, had a good attitude, and are all talented in their own right. Their reputation stands tall on its own, and I would definitely recommend them!

Go See Matty at Eden! I found Matty through Eden’s instagram page and I am so glad that I did. I originally went in to talk to him about his flash specials for Star Wars Day, but when I went in to talk to him about it I fell in love with a custom piece he had drawn up. It came out amazing and can’t wait to finish the rest of it. Great shop for custom ink! Definitely a repeat customer!

I just got my first tattoo here a few days ago. I was very nervous since it was my first one. Jeff Walker was my tattoo artist. He knew I was a bit nervous and he did an excellent job! He was funny, sweet and took my mind off me being so nervous. I live in Chicago, but visit San Diego from time to time and I would go back here for sure! :)

I came to Eden Gallery tattoo after doing some research for an artist in the area who could help me with my current rose tattoo I had that I wanted to add to. Rebecca at Eden did a wonderful job and was very helpful and patient along the way, even after my multiple changes in the designs and adjustments I wanted to make.
This tattoo shop, like the name implies, is not your average ‘shop’ but more of a gallery or salon, it is very nice inside and everyone working there is very friendly.

Mike Sirot did my tattoo today and I could not be happier. He was very professional and patient explaining the whole process and getting me to narrow down my decision on placement and size. I was very nervous about where I was going to put it and the font, but Mike made me feel very at ease, because he knows what he is talking about. The shop was very clean and everyone working there was very friendly. My tattoo was a breeze, hmmmmm will I be getting more, who knows but I love the one I just got! I will definitely refer friends and family here.

Took my wife here for her 40^th birthday to get a tattoo, actually two tattoos. Awesome, clean shop with really friendly people. Matty Butler did amazing job — he listened to what my wife wanted and put together two, really well done tattoos. Definitely going back and would recommend this shop and especially Matty to anyone looking to get a tattoo. Thanks for the great experience Eden and Matty!

Legit shop. Professional, clean and amazing talent. I got work done by Matty and my husband got a piece done by Rebecca and we couldn’t be happier. They were nice enough to squeeze us in as walk ins and we are extremely happy with the results. There a ton of shops in the area, and we usually go to Avalon 2 but after today we will be coming back to Eden!

Just got a sweet, quick Friday the 13^th tattoo from Matty. The gallery looks great, the staff was friendly and helpful and the work, though a simple piece, is legit.

I have been to this shop twice now. The first time was for my Friday the 13^th tattoo.
But the second visit was so incredible I just had to Unilocal about it. I made an appointment with Matty. I got a tattoo in rememberence of a friend of mine who passed away. It not only was my first larger tattoo but it something very near and dear to my heart. When I went in to book my appointment I told matty the aspects I wanted in the tattoo and left the artistic design up to him after all they are the professionals not me :)
A couple weeks later I came in for my appointment matty had an amazing sketch done for me and it was absolutely beautiful it had everything I wanted and more I really couldn’t have designed it any better. The appointment itself only took about an hour and a half and matty was very professional everything was very clean and done correctly. He made me very comfortable and it couldn’t have gone any better.
My tattoo is healing but I’m in love with it and love showing it off to everyone. Matty was incredible and I can’t wait to get another tattoo from him.
Everyone at this shop is super nice and the owner mike who I haven’t met I have heard so many wonderful things about him. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to get some art done.

Mike and his crew are a great group of people. Mike has been tattooing me for over 15 years and his work has withstood the test of time. He has a wicked sense of humor so prepare to be entertained! Good thing. After all who wants to be stuck with an as#@!%olé for hours?
I’ve met Matty and Mikes apprentice who are also talented and personable.

Went to Fall Brewing one day with my dog and walked out and saw Eden tattoo and thought «huh! Maybe I’ll commission a tattoo!»
So I walked in and always wanted to knife from the Consecration beer label from Russian River. I met Matty right away. He was very nice and knew exactly what I was telling him I wanted when I did.
Deposit paid, came in a couple days later and Matty drilled it out for me. Surprisingly fast and as detailed as the label, perfectly done. I was done in an hour.
I will be back for sure to add more to that part of my arm.

AWESOME place. I went here with my mom and sister for my first tattoo and everyone was very cool. They’re all very experienced and incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere is really relaxed which is great, especially if you’re a bit nervous, as I was. Mike did both of our tattoos (his apprentice was great too). We are both very happy with how they turned out! We’ll definitely be back here if we decide to have more artwork done.

Was recommended this place by my girlfriend. Went in. Had matty draw up a sketch and made an appointment. Way easy, and friendly. Sent a few emails back and forth to decide the final product. He didn’t bitch or make me feel like I was too picky. I’ve had a few tattoos in the past and matty was relatively light handed. The art work came out exactly the way I imagined it. I couldn’t be happier with it. I recommended this place to anyone that wants their work done right for a good price. I’ll be back for more soon. Thanks matty

Christina did my tattoo and she was amazing! The tattoo is gorgeous. This was my first tattoo, and she did a great job explaining the whole process. The shop itself is really nice inside and everyone else there were also very friendly and welcoming. I plan to return to Eden tattoo and Christina for any future tattoos! I would highly recommend the shop and her to anyone!

Got my tattoo done last week and Christina was awesome! I emailed her pictures of what I wanted to cover up part of my old tattoo, and she came up with something gorgeous in less than two days. She also put me into her schedule even though it was kind of a short notice. I had a lot of questions too and she was super patient with me. Overall, I highly recommend her. Her replies were prompt, her attitude friendly and professional, and boy can she design a tattoo! This artist definitely knows what she’s doing! Im thinking of adding more to the design she came up with, so I will definitely be back once I make up my mind!

Honestly I would give ⁶⁄₆ if it was possible.
Yesterday was Friday the 13^th and many shops weren’t offering the tradition of the $ 13 tattoo + tip. However my lady and I called to Eden Tattoo Gallery and instantly felt a great vibe. When you see the shop from the outside you might be a little hesitant but honestly it’s one of the cleanest most peaceful shops I’ve ever been to. Jeff was working the front counter on this busy night. The staff were professional, approachable, and all around amazing people! Jeff made the paperwork so easy, and was so kind to offer water and snacks while we waited. My girl got tattooed by Rebecca Min, she helped give color advice and did AMAZINGLY on her art! I was tattooed by Mike Sirot, the owner and master. He was funny as hell, and has a ton of talent. This was by far an amazing and impressive impression to leave on us. My girl and I couldn’t stop smiling and talking about how fun the whole experience was. Thanks again Mike, Rebecca, and Jeff for everything! You’ll see us again for sure!

Got a cover up tattoo from Christina. Since I had previously tried to get the old one removed, she was working with some tough scar tissue. She did a beautiful job creating a design based on a general concept I had. She worked quickly, and chatted when I needed to be distracted. The shop is very clean and comfortable, more like a salon than the gritty shops I remember as a young person. I will definitely go back should I want another tattoo.
