Evolve Tattoo Removal

As a long time client of Guru Tattoo, I am extremly impressed with Gurus associated company «Evolve Laser Removal». I know that Evolve uses the most cutting edge equipment in the industry and their work is highly regarded as minimally invasive, highly efficient with extremely favorable results from its clientele.

I shopped around for tattoo removal for a while before going to this place. I think they were the most honest, upfront, and least greedy of every place I met with. So I started the process with them. Its a clean studio and very trendy looking. The tech was very nice and blunt about what it would feel like and how it all would work. I was surprised they gave me after care products and really set me up to succeed in this process with the least number of sessions possible

I went in for a dreaded tattoo removal. Oh the horrors I had heard about how painful it is. I was definetely skeptical but i decided to suck it up and try it out as this tattoo is definetely one that needs to go ASAP. So I initially sent in my information and picture online to request a quote. Holly was the one who called me a couple of days later and she was so nice! She was really patient with all my questions I had and was very informative. So I scheduled an appointment for a check in and also filled out paperwork that day. I had Jessica help me out for that appointment and she too was really nice. She explained the process and gave me my numbing ointment to take with me (oh yes, this is complimentary and you bet I opted for this!!) to apply 40 minutes before my 1^st session. Fast forward to a few days later, I had my numbing cream on the area and I was on my merry go way over to start to get rid of this horrible mistake I have, ugggh.
The process was so smooth, super fast and not as painful as I thought. So basically as you are getting the area lasered off, which is essentially burning off the tattoo, you are also getting super cold air blown on it with a different machine. I think this makes up pretty good for the burning sensation and the pain is totally tolerable. The area where I have my tattoo is also very sensitive (upper thigh/​pelvic) and I would say it hurts as much as getting the tattoo but way faster. The session took about 3 minutes. I would rate the pain about a 6 out of 10, not bad at all.
The pain afterwards is tolerable as well, it’s like a sunburn sort of. and you will definetely feel very sore. The sunburn feeling lasted about 2 days for me and the soreness about 2 weeks. My tattoo did bubble up as well which is also something that is normal afterwards. The bubbles showed up 2 days after the procedure and then diminished on their own a day after that. It has now been 4 weeks and I still have some scabbing on top of the ink which I was also told was normal.
I can’t wait to see further results in my future sessions! I bought 2 more sessions for the time being but I have to wait 8 weeks in between sessions, so let’s see how my 2^nd session goes!!! Pictures and an update soon to follow!

I had the best experience at Evolve Tattoo Removal! It is so clean and the people are knowledgable and very helpful! I had great results with my first session and they were quick and efficient. This is literally the best place is Southern California. I am most definitely going back for my next sessions and highly recommend it to anyone who is considering tattoo removal.

I’ve been getting some old tattoos lightened in the LA area for a while now, but I recently moved to San Diego for a new job. I did quite a bit of research and had several consultations at local laser removal places before finding Evolve. God I wish I’d found this place sooner! The staff are extremely professional and the laser they use is much more effective than the one at my old place, not to mention the fact that I’m paying significantly less for my treatments! I’ve had 3 sessions so far and I’m seeing better results than I ever had before. Should be just a couple more visits and I can finally start getting the quality work that I have always wanted! Thanks to Jessica and Holly for providing the best and most affordable service I’ve ever had!

I have been going to evolve now for a few months.
I have been so impressed with the results! I’ve gone to other places and have been treated like I have a rhinoceros growing off my back.
I love this place because 1. The customer service is immaculate and 2. They are in the tattoo industry and have the clients best interests in mind, whether that’s getting something totally removed or just lightened enough to do a cover up.
People that do tattoo removal should be able to relate to their clients, and that’s exactly what the people at Evolve do.

I had my second session of laser removal done today by Jessica and it went great! The removal process was very short and nearly painless. I’ve only had one session done on my chest before today and the results are undeniable. The shading is completely gone and the lines are almost out. Can’t wait to see the results of this session in the next couple weeks!

This place is amazing. They have awesome employees that make you feel super comfortable. They have new equipment, and this cold air thing that makes it not hit much.
Finally my tramp stamp will be gone…

My only regret is that I waited SO long! I’m actually surprised after just one visit how much my tattoo has already faded. What I’m most happy about is that there’s no scarring. I’ve seen friends who have had their tattoo removed and it actually looks like a scar in the shape of their old tattoo. You can tell that once this is gone, it will actually be gone! The shop was VERY clean & the RN, Jessica, who performed my removal was very friendly & professional. She explained the procedure and was quick! I would definitely recommend Evolve Tattoo! I can’t wait to finish this removal process so the bad choice I made at 16 years old can be a thing of the past!

I had my 1^st appointment at Evolve last week and it was great! The shop is very clean and really cute! Jessica is the RN that helped me and she was very friendly, very professional and explained exactly what she was going to be doing and how it worked. She also explained the after care very well! The whole process was very fast which I was happy for because it does hurt a bit! Jessica was able to put numbing cream on me to help take the edge off which was very helpful! One week later and my tattoo has already faded really well!

Just started the process of removing an old tattoo and this is the place to go. Jessica is amazing, she gives you the no bs approach about the process and makes you feel confident on that you are about to do. It didn’t hurt as bad as I thought and I believe part of it was because the way she made me feel comfortable. My wife was there with me for support and I’m sure the outcome will be great once my sessions are over. Thank you, evolve team!

This place is awesome!!! Holly and Jessica are beyond amazing. Super accommodating, flexible, patient, friendly. Jessica I think had the patient of a saint, my husband is working on lasering down a huge set of wings on his back (enough to eventually get covered) and he will be the first to tell you it’s no walk in the park. He complains nonstop and Jessica just lets him work through it unphased! She is focused and professional but with a great bedside manor to always check in and make sure the complaints aren’t actually signs of distress. The location is gorgeous, parking is a bit interesting at times but all and all– best laser clinic in SD.

This place was fantastic. I had heard a lot about the pain that comes with removing a tattoo and Evolve did everything possible to make me comfortable. Scheduling was a breeze, the entire staff was professional and so friendly, and the office was beautiful. The laser itself was not too bad either! The cold air I had read about in prior reviews really did the trick! I would highly recommend this place if you need some ink removed!

Best laser experience ever. Had it done once at another business and my skin reacted pretty bad. Not this time. Their new laser was super easy on my skin, and more ink was removed in just one session. Super professional and friendly staff and the laser itself shoots ice cold air on the area they are removing. I just have a small tattoo that I am covering up, and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommend this place ! Not

First, long over due, session to remove a tattoo. Holly, Jessica, and the whole staff were super helpful and cool. I live right by the shop so it’s super convenient. I’ve heard horror stories about tattoo removal but, this was fast and I barely felt it at all. Extremely clean shop and I’m excited to get a tattoo after finishing the removal of this one. Last night was my first time getting laser tattoo removal and it was great! I’m happy I waited to do it here with the Guru crew. Holly and Jessica were beyond helpful and comforting, super knowledgeable and professional. The entire shop and laser facility is very clean and I felt at ease the entire time. Great investment and I can’t wait to get more removal sessions in. This is definitely the place to go :)

I just had my first session of laser removal from Evolve and in true Guru fashion the quality and the service were top notch! I drive all the way down to SD from LA for this crew. Absolutely the best staff and most talented team in SoCal. I’m working with Holly and the Evolve staff to remove a current ¼ sleeve piece so I can cover it with a new piece from the talented Guru staff. Evolve has purchased state of the art equipment and has professionally trained staff on hand to complete any removal… and their rates are very competitive. This is my first time experiencing removal and the pain wasn’t as intense as I was expecting, but it is more intense than the tattooing process. Although the laser removal process is MUCH quicker. The ¼ sleeve took around 30 minutes for the entire session. The staff was very concerned about my comfort and was more than willing to work at any pace desired. I will of course be back for the rest of my sessions and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for removal or lightening services.

this place is cool. this was my first time getting laser treatment on this ugly tattoo i got from an artist in la. not gonna lie i was nervous but the overall procedure was fast and pleasant.

I came in to get two tattoos removed. I have had 1 removal session at another place about 2 years ago before, and it hurt so bad that I never finished my removal. I can confidently say this is the easiest tattoo removal session I’ve experienced. This did not suck! The cold air machine that they shoot on the skin helps with the pain. Not only that it was a super clean facility, a very nice nurse, and great prices. They also gave me an ice pack when I arrived. Great place to go if you want something removed!!!

Today I started the process of removing one of life’s little gifts — the good ol tramp stamp :) The process went very smoothly and I cant wait to see the progress.
Holly was super helpful and made the appointment a breeze. The laser removal room is quite cozy and very clean. My specific treatment was very quick since my tattoo is small, and the pain was about a level 7 but only lasted a very short time. They use a really cold blower thingy on the area the same time that the laser is being used, and that helps with the pain during the treatment — overall I am super confident that this is going to be a very amazing and I cant wait for it to be gone! Well worth the time and money I am very happy with my first treatment.
