So I must admit, shopping for«game day» clothing isn’t my favorite thing in the world, but sometimes you just gotta do it. For such a nice store, I would expect excellent customer service. Alyssa, the sales associate at the counter, has the personality of a dead fish. She refused to acknowledge when I walked into the store, and when I asked what women’s Padres gear was in stock, she pointed to the few t-shirts available. Girl, I get you’re bored having to stand there and fold t-shirts but is your life that awful? When I asked if there were any other options, she suggested some ill fitting men’s t-shirts. What? I had a poor experience here and there were bad vibes all around. I will buy my gear online next time.

This store doesn’t carry authentic Padres jerseys, but plenty of replicas. For a Fashion Valley store, I presumed they’d have them.

If you’re in the area and you’re not a Chargers fan, look no further. Sought out a Gore jersey for the upcoming game against the chargers but of course, since this is San Diego it’s almost near impossible until a nice girl from Dick’s Sporting Good referred me to Fanzz. These guys got it all whether you’re looking for your NFL, NBA, NHL, or MLB team. Jerseys, mugs, bumper stickers, coffee mugs, lanyards, etc. If you’re military they throw in a discount and they currently got a special for jerseys buy one get one 50%(I think) off!

I went to Fashion Valley mall today just to go to Lids and buy a hat but my experience at Lids left me leaving that store empty handed. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had! So I walked around the mall looking for somewhere to get a hat and I found Fanzz. Unlike Lids, the customer service was great. They acknowledged me right away and were very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a hat or any sports gear, go check out Fanzz. They’re good people.
