I’ve been coming to Fast Keys for a few years now for my employee name tags and copies of keys. Cesar always gives me kind, professional and fast service. The prices are real affordable and the work is always done accurately and with quality. Great establishment!

I’ve sent many customers to them with keys I can’t copy for them. I’ve been a customer myself to get some plaques made. They’ve always been wonderful.

Great for fast, simple engravings.
Just know that it’s simple and fast. I had some coins engraved as gifts, small so I only had one font option. On the bright side it was only $ 14 for all 4 lines, other places such as the mall or more popular on Unilocal wanted $ 30, for between 4 words or 2 lines.
While the bigger places have more options, you will pay for it and it may not be fast. This place was professional, fast, and communicated well. I know their main businesses is key copying, but they aren’t bad for engraving either. I’d definitely use them again.

Super awesome. I got my car key copied here since I got a used car and didn’t have the factory key. It’s just closed by me and around all the shopping area. I would pay a bit more for the workmanship and fast service here. Parking on weekdays is crazy though. Best is to park all the way behind the Nissan Dealership, do a little exercise. This also will be my go-​to-​locksmith for my future key needs.

My father was old school with «The Club» steering wheel lock for his 94 4Runner and he only had one key. So I figured I’d stop by Home Depot to get a copy real quick but as soon as I handed the employee my key, he handed it back and said he didn’t carry that blank. I figured ok… out of stock, no biggie. So I headed to Ace hardware’s key department and they said that key is rare and I would need to order one direct from manufacturer. Before I dished out the big bucks for an OEM key, I decided to stop by Fast Keys & Engravings. It indeed was a rare key but he managed to make a Mercedes key work! Master of his craft! If anyone needs a key referral, I’m sending them here. Good Business Over Convenience!

I wish I had more business to give to this company. Super quick, cheap, easy, convenient and friendly. My card was actually declined and Ceasar (the owner) let me come back another day to pay. Need more friendly business owners like this. Don’t go to Home Depot!!!

Great service. Went to go get keys made for our new place. Quick, efficient and great quality.

I got my mom’s Carlsbad Marathon finishers medal engraved here, and I’m SO HAPPY with it. I dropped it off yesterday at 2pm and just picked it up (was quoted 24 hours). It was less than $ 13. I may engrave all my PRs now!

So I went in at 9:30 right when he opened and asked to get a watch engraved. He called me at 1 o’clock that afternoon and said he was done which is super quick! I was quite pleased because I needed it done ASAP it was a last-​minute present and the owner was so nice! And the work he did was beautiful! I am a very satisfied customer!

SCION OWNERS, don’t pay hundreds for a new key:
I needed to find a place to cut a new Scion key I had bought off Amazon for $ 5.
Before I found this place I went to 3 other places including the DEALERSHIP and a locksmith that said they couldn’t/wouldn’t cut my blank key. The locksmith said he couldn’t because the new key would ruin his machine. The dealership said they wouldn’t unless it was a key bought from them. No thanks, because a new key would be close to $ 300. I’d much rather spend under $ 15 for the same thing. Anyhow, called ahead to see if they would be able to cut the new key since other places said they couldn’t. On the other line was Cesar, who was pretty sure he could do it for me. A few minutes later I decided to drop by since I was much closer to the place than I thought. I was greeted by Cesar and he checked out what we had to work with. It wasn’t going to be a problem at all. He copies the key, and I’m out of there withing 5 minutes, driving off using my new car key! THANK YOU CESAR!
The other places seemed like they didn’t want my money. The dealership wanted too much.
Scion owners: I had an 06 key that was grey and had plastic over the buttons. The plastic has since warped and ripped, so it was time to replace the key. Keys from Toyota are close to $ 300 because our keys have a chip in them that is needed to start the car. You can buy a blank key (with no chip) from Amazon for $ 5 – 8. When you get the new key, you’ll have to open up the old key and remove the module and chip to transfer them. Just YouTube or Google this if you can’t figure it out. It just takes minutes to do and you’ll save hundreds!

Stopped by at lunch yesterday expecting to drop off a deadbolt lock to get re-​keyed and pick it up later. He had a few minutes so he did it right then. Couldn’t ask for better service than that! It’s great to have professional, personal service from a family guy running a small business. Doesn’t get any better!

AWESOME ENGRAVING — I wanted to get a half-​marathon race medal engraved for my son for Christmas and a Boston Marathon medal engraved for me. I had called several places and even dropped them off at another place but no one wanted to engrave the race medals. I guess they were scared of damaging them. I finally called Fast Keys & Engraving. It was near the end of the day. Cesar said to bring them in. I arrived right at closing time. Cesar looked the medals over and not only said he could do it, but that they would be ready early the next day. Sure enough, they were ready the next day and the engraving was perfect! Thanks Cesar! I will be coming back soon with more medals for engraving.

This place is the BEST! Cesar knows how to treat a customer. I bought a license frame last Christmas (!) as a gift, and came back 9 MONTHS later to have it engraved. Cesar remembered me and went to work on it with a smile. You don’t find service like he gives anymore. Great products, prices and service.

These guys are awesome. Very friendly. Keys are cut fast and accurately. Customer service is the name of the game these days and the owner doesn’t fail to impress. Great guy, great service. Cut my motorcycle keys when nobody else could!!! Sorry I took so long to write this.

I’ve known Cesar for years and wouldn’t have my keys duped or engraving done anywhere else. I drive down from Murrieta just for his quality service.

Save your time and go elsewhere! Poor customer service and poor attitude!

One of the nicest and most helpful people to ever run a business! The high quality work is a nice bonus. I needed keys cut for an Audi and he couldn’t help me but sent me to someone who could. Toyota keys he made then insisted we try each before leaving. When I showed him my key fob he then sent me to a web site to get new ones. So rather than the typical «sorry, I don’t do those», he made certain all my key problems were solved before I left. Definitely deserving of a 6^th star if there were one. I’ll be back!

Great service: they have most of templates. I stopped by three stores prior coming here, and associates couldn’t help me. So I’m pretty positive I won’t go anywhere else, when I need another copy of the key. Very affordable and fast.

I stopped by Fast Keys & Engraving after Busy Bee Keys stated they couldn’t make my BMW motorcycle key (see that review for more info).
First off, the small little key shack sits in the middle of a busy parking lot near a busier intersection. Be advised that it’s better not to come during high traffic hours. That being said, this place may be worth your while as they keys are fairly inexpensive.
I brought in my own blank and had Cesar @ Fast Keys make a copy on that blank, as well as an extra from their store. Off I went in 3 minutes flat.
At home, the key they made me from my own blank didn’t work (though the other one did)). I called and told Cesar right away; he told me to come on back, preferably with the bike.
I dropped by again a few days later. Though he was unable to fix the key he made from a blank (defective?), he made another copy for me free of charge and I was on my way in a few minutes.
I wish I didn’t have to make the second trip up there, but I’m satisfied with Cesar’s personality, professionalism and, of course, the LOW PRICES!
Call me cheap…
