Geico adjuster and claim process at this location was very thorough but they don’t work represent Fix Auto. We left the car here thinking it would be more convenient but now fully regret it. We left the car here for a week and they still didn’t replace the tail lamp after we have left specific instructions at the front desk. They even asked for us to pay the supplement cost without talking to Geico adjustor who works right there, which was completely covered by our claim! I am now back a week later to wait for them to fix the tail lamp but they ordered the wrong side! So now I have to come again to get it replaced. Overall I would not recommend this place. Poor communication and follow through.

Quality of repair was adequate; everything else not so much.
I received a bevy of inaccurate text messages during the repair process which mislead me as to when the car would be ready, etc. When I finally went to pick up my car I was assured that the $ 250 deductible had been waived, I even went so far as to ask them if they were sure and to double-​check. Sure, enough, yes, the deductible had been waived and my balance was $ 0. I signed an invoice with a $ 0 balance pen and inked and drove off in my clean, repaired car.
Approximately 7 – 8 weeks later, I received a phone call saying that I owed the $ 250 deductible, that they had made a mistake and that I needed to pay ASAP. I then received a letter via certified mail that stating I needed to pay ASAP or I would be taken to small claims court. Again, I inquired multiple times at the time of delivery of my car as to my balance, was assured it was paid in full and then 2 months later they are threatening to take me to court.
Not wanting to hassle over $ 250 I have remitted payment; however, I will never do business with this company again nor recommend them to anyone else. If your employee makes a mistake, take ownership of that mistake, do not throw it back on the consumer and threaten legal action. Shame on you, Fix Auto.

Do not come here even if your insurance refers you. They will take forever to quote you!
I took my car there last Friday after my insurance company referred me there for a quote due to an accident. I was told that the adjustor assigned to me takes lunch from noon to 1pm and that I could come in at 11:30am. I arrive one time and find out from the receptionist that Fernando decided to leave for lunch early. Yes, this is despite the fact that he had an appointment. The receptionist said this nonchalantly. Sensing my irritation and not being able to answer why she didn’t call me to move my appt she told me to wait so she could ask someone to take photos of my car. The adjustor Fernando would view them and reply with a quote. I was told I should hear back within a day or two. I called four times and sent two emails. No replies. Eventually a week later I finally get my quote. Needless to say, I didn’t service my car here. If you take a week to give someone a quote how long are you going to take to fix my car??? Unprofessional, no integrity.
Fix Auto, you need to fix yourselves!

The service level here is ridiculous! It has been almost a month and we still haven’t gotten the finishing touch on our car. After getting our car repaired, we were supposed to get a decal installed by Fernando on 12/​31/​2015 at 8am. He never showed up. He was the one who suggested that day and time. Very disappointed. We pushed up our plan for that day so he can install the decal. It was a no call, no show and no response. If he couldn’t make it, he should at least gave us a call so we were not sitting around waiting for him to show up.
We reported it to the shop a couple days later through their online survey and still no response. No one from the shop cared to contact us in regard to getting the job done or apologizing for what happened. This will be our last time at this shop.

No one ever likes getting into accidents regardless of how big or small the damage may be. But I must say the teamwork, attention to detail, customer service, quality of work & the relationship between the shop on my insurance is amazing! I was rear-​ended in my Silverado and needed to have the bumper and tow hitch replaced. After some back and forth with the at-​fault insured I decided to go through my insurance and they recommended Fix Auto Miramar and I’m beyond happy they did.
Dropped off my truck on a Wednesday morning, the inspection process is super easy and very friendly the shop manager along with the actual body shop repair team walked around my truck with me and told me everything they were going to be doing the whole process from start to finish.
I don’t usually feel calm and relaxed at new auto shops but this location pretty much puts the welcome mats out for you!
If you haven’t tried this shop for repairs or if you are in the unfortunate situation of having been in an accident I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fix Auto Miramar!

I came to Fix via a Geico claim. This was my first ever experience with a body shop, on my first ever car (even though over 30…). The repair didn’t seem too crazy, just a dent and paint scrape on the door seams of the passenger side of my Prius V. The estimate was 3 days, which turned out to be right on target. The paint matching, which I was a bit worried about, turned out to be nothing less than *perfect.* They even detailed the interior, which, with 2 little kids was less than stellar!
There is one thing that’s not great, and that’s the fact that the front passenger door does not open from the inside anymore, which they’ve agreed to fix, and said it should take about 10 minutes to do so. Annoying that I have to drive back there, but mistakes happen, and did I mention the body work was spectacular???
Update: It took literally 10 minutes to fix this. I showed up, they had a worker drop what he was doing to do so. Now, it looks great, and everything works as it did before hand.

Last Friday I was hit by a «Hit and Run» driver. I own an insurance agency, so I get to see a lot of claims. Many of my clients have used Fix Auto Miramar for their claims with excellent results. So I thought I’d trust them with my car. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The repair only took a 2 days, and the quality of workmanship was excellent Thanks Gus and Fernando on a job well done!

I think they are even not deserved to get 1 star, but there is no way to give 0 star anyway.
My experience with Fix Auto Miramar was so painful. It was already about six months, but they still didn’t complete their repair.
I brought my Honda Odyssey minivan to repair here since it is very close to my company. But, it was a big mistake.
They repaired my 2 years old new car far from the original condition. I complained a lot and visited many times, but they didn’t take care of it. Usually they promise a good treat in the shop, but never call back or repair it. Same pattern.
Receptionist and manager are kind in the shop on the site. But their real repair work is horrible and don’t care their quality.
If you dare to go through a thorny path, try this shop.

The passenger side rocker panel on my Subaru Legacy was loose, so GEICO recommended Fix Auto Miramar and I had a great experience there. I came in for an appointment Monday morning; customer service at the front desk and with the GEICO representative was wonderful. I left with a nice rental vehicle (covered by my insurance– yay) and received a call a few hours later that my car would be done by Wednesday. They worked like the wind and it ended up being ready Tuesday evening, but since they have a 24-​hour window for pickup I was able to work around my school schedule and get it at my earliest convenience. The repair looks great and my car is squeaky clean. The whole process was transparent and efficient, and I had nothing but positive interactions. Thanks Fernando and crew!

Insurance recommended this place after we were rear ended, not at fault. We had to bring the car back because there were paint spots/​drips from the repair on chrome, the hatch didn’t close properly and bumped against the car further scratching the paint, etc. Picked it up over a week later and found that a tail lamp had been cracked and our tint scratched. What the heck?! Decided to move on with our lives and take the car home despite these flaws. Don’t bring your car here; from the other reviews posted, we aren’t alone in our perception of this shop.

I think it’s great, despite the fact that i had to take a lot of money out of pocket –my bad though:(.
After an accident I searched around and were hesitating to go there cuz it seems not having very great reviews overall on Unilocal.However, the google reviews are much better. So i gave them a try, unexpectedly, they were fast in every thing. Very organized handling and very nice people. The rental car was also convenient. They followed up and kept me updated on the progress.
Although i could give them 4 star because on the day to pick up, they delayed washing my car inside-​out for 30 min or so. However, the owner is so sincerely apologized and i felt bad cuz they worked hard.
Therefore, I would recommend this place because I had good experience with them.

Really liked this repair shop. After an accident I went to take my car in where they gave me a same day $ and time estimate. Both were very reasonable, and they returned my car to me at the time promised. They also stuck to the $ estimate which was nice, not racking up labor at the insurance company’s expense (:cough: Mossy Nissan: cough:)
They also promise to pay for your rental car if they do not return on time. I knocked this place down a star because my front light did not work once it was returned to me, but I took it in and they were able to fix immediately and did not make me wait long. Also would be nice if they offered a ride somewhere once you take your car in, but there is a budget rental car a block away.

After all this happened, I realized a day after picking up my car my Cannon camera equipment worth $ 1350 was taken from my car trunk. I know I am not to just blame this company for the robbery of my camera equipment, I shouldn’t have been so trust worthy of my belongings and should have taken it out. But, if this is an honest company should I not have to worry about what I leave in my car?!? I am just now updating this comment since the SDPD did an investigation on my case and I was leaving the owner room to respond to my message left for him to discuss this issue, I have not heard from him to date. I guess my next step is to call their corporate office and file a legal complaint, I have no choice.

I agree with Ben-​Ana, Elizabeth, and Jay, this place is the worst. They could not get the color of my bumper to match. So when I bring it back to be corrected (I called and confirmed my own appointment, the night prior and that very morning)…they had no clue why I was there. And the new manager says-«see the silver car over there? and the black one and the white? they all need to be repainted because its hard to match» That’s your job, right???
Needless to say, they could not get it right and I just let it go. But the bottom of the bumper, was hanging off my car when I got home.
I called to get it fixed but Fix Auto could not live up to their name.
Oh, I also called corporate offices, not once, but twice. They could not have cared any less.

Since this location is near my work, I called Tues and ask first whether they can provide some estimates on the damage to my bumper that was rear ended few weeks ago. During the phone conversation I was only asked about my insurance company which is AAA and was told there’s no need to get an appointment and can dropped by anytime and somebody could help me.
So I went Wednesday noon and the receptionist, who was nice, asked me to filled up some paper work. After I am done, my documents were handed to the estimator named Fernando. Fernando mentioned to me that Fix Auto Miramar has a strange arrangement with AAA that they can only service Northern CA customer which really I can’t understand since the collission center is located in SoCal. Nevertheless, Fernando checked out the damage. After checking the mileage on the Honda Odyssey, he look around and took maybe 4 – 6 photos and then made some measurements of the van including the damaged bumper. He verified the email address on the form and let me know that I will be contacted thru email within an hour including sending the estimates so that I don’t need to wait for it which I thought is a good idea and therefore I went back to my work.
I waited until end of Wednesday but I have not received anything. So the next day I contacted Fernando thru the email address on his business card to follow up. I did not get any response from him and likewise did not get any call from Fix Auto Miramar.
I was disappointed because I thought I can save some time by getting the repair on my van just few blocks away from my office but what I got instead is a waste of my lunch time by checking out this collision center. Just thought that if they can’t fix my van due to insurance issues they’ve should contacted me and let me know instead of no call at all.

This place is super legit!!!
So someone hit my car and then left… and so I had to get it fixed… super lame – I have Geico and was referred to go here. Everyone here is super awesome and amazing. Robert was awesome – as was the Geico rep. My car looks brand new again. Everyone was super friendly and I was like wow, if this was a coffee shop, i’d come back – but that means I would have gotten in another accident – and that would suck. So lets’ not hope that.
ANNND they didn’t make me feel dumb because I was a female and couldn’t drive away because the em. break was up (no offense to females). I want to go back! Never thought I’d write that about an autoshop… are they hiring? 95% serious. Speaking of PERCENTAGES. They send you texts about how far along your car is from being done (in percentages). So, that’s awesome. They also cleaned the dog hair out of my car. Go here!
