Established in 2009.

Brainchild of San Diego native Paris Driggers, Forgotten Barrel Winery recently opened a wine tasting room in San Diego. Specializing in small production wines from the best vineyards in California. They make wine under two labels: SiKa and Forgotten Barrel. Seeking partnerships with vineyards that are farmed with organic methods they make limited production, hand crafted wines that are priced for all to enjoy. Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are what they currently have released and available to pour.

Manager

Paris Driggers is a San Diego native and long time player in the local wine industry. With two decades of experience in the wine business, Paris has accumulated extensive knowledge in all aspects of the wine business. Paris achieved Sommelier certification in 2002 from The Court of the Master Sommelier and competed in the professional division of the California Wine Tasting Championships where he made it to the semi-​finals in 2003 and 2005. He founded Purple Palate Wine Brokers in 2006 where he represented small. limited production, boutique wineries. In 2009 Paris’ quest to create his own winery came to fruition when he partnered with an old friend, Rodger Grove, to start Forgotten Barrel Winery. Paris now enjoys managing winemaking and sales for this up and coming winery.
