Dr. Rardin is awesome! As a daughter of a Chiropractor it has been difficult for me to find a Chiropractor in SD that I was happy with. But once I started going to the Foundation of Heath & seeing Dr. Rardin I have been very happy with my care! Thank you for keeping my spine in line & my over all health in good condition!

On Memorial Day I was involved in a hit and run accident. I wasn’t the one running as I went to the ER at UCSD. The next day, I went to see Dr. Rardin to get some relief and hopefully to be restored to good health. He is doing an excellent job giving me relief from the whiplash I experienced.
In addition, Dr. Rardin has written a book in simple language explaining Chiropractic. For those who want an overview without going to chiropractic school, I recommend his book.

Dr. Rardin has profoundly changed my life– in fact I would actually say that he has given me life.
I am a 22 year girl who has suffered from chronic back pain since childhood. I saw several chiropractors and doctors in my youth, none of which could identify my source of pain. I could not participate in normal activities as a child and as I got older, the problems became more severe. I was unable to carry a purse, groceries, walk long distances, carry a backpack to class, sit for longer than 20 minutes… My constant state of pain was around an 8 on a scale of 1 – 10 and I was no longer able to sleep at night.
After seeing the Spinal Specialists of San Diego I was told I had a cervical rib and my only option for pain relief was surgical. Feeling terrified I opted to deal with a lifetime of pain rather than run the risk of paralysis in a procedure that had a very low success rate.
Then I met Dr. Rardin. Throughout the course of my time at Foundation of Health, my life had completely changed– I had gone from miserable pain to complete and total relief. This man is an absolute MIRACLE WORKER. It sounds crazy, but I’m serious. After seeing Dr. R I was able to go on a 4 month backpacking trip with 75lbs on my back constantly. I traveled throughout SE ASIA and this was ALL possible because of him.
At first, his «one man show» operation threw me off, as I had never been to a doctor who was also his own receptionist. However, I quickly learned that this was one of the greatest aspects of Foundation of Health. The atmosphere at the office is comfortable and doesn’t have the usual «doctor’s office» vibe, which to me, can be depressing and frightening. While withstanding immense professionalism, Dr. Rardin has created a comfortable and fun environment for his patients. His prices are also the most affordable I have seen.
I have recently moved away from San Diego and although I miss the weather and my friends– I miss Dr. Rardin most of all.
I’ve been to numerous other doctors since my move and have been incredibly disappointed. There is no doctor who cares as much about his patient’s health as this guy.
He will change your life!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rardin for three years and for the last year I feel like I’ve traded in my old body for a brand new one.
I had been in chronic pain for years, seen multiple types of doctors and now, in my mid 30’s, it was only getting worse. Dr. Rardin identified the scoliosis curve other doctors had missed.
When we started treatment I couldn’t take sitting in a chair very long, I had very limited range of motion and nearly constant painful muscle spasms. My breathing was shallow, I had headaches all of the time. I was a mess!
After starting treatment with Dr. Rardin, in some ways the pain got worse for awhile. As things in my body started to open and to shift, the muscle spasms spread to new places like my hips, glutes, forearms, triceps, abs and even the muscles between some of my ribs. Isn’t it funny how things tend to get worse before they get better? But Dr. Rardin explained exactly what was happening in my body every step of the way and really listened and supported me when I was going through the worst of it.
I saw big changes in my posture and my breathing. My core got strong for the first time ever. The pain and muscle spasms decreased. My range of motion returned and muscles that hadn’t been used in years were now stronger. I had more energy and clearer thinking. I also had more patience and was less irritable. Boy, does chronic pain make you grumpy.
After three years, I’m an inch taller than I was before visiting Dr. Rardin and my body is pain free from the shoulders down. And I know with just a bit more time, my neck and shoulders will be healthy just like the rest of my body.

Absolutely excellent chiropractic care from Dr. Rardin! I’ve been going to Foundation of Health for a little over 3 years now and it’s been great!
Most of my visits have been for correction and maintenance but during that period of time I had hurt my neck pretty bad and he did everything he could to help me get back to better health. I dont know what I would have done to get back on my feet for work with out him!

I suffered a serious injury and desperately needed help. I sought out a chiropractor to help me with a treatment plan to deal with my new and old injuries. I was constantly in pain and my asthma increasingly became worse over the span of a few years. Two years ago, I discovered Dr. Rardin at the Foundation of Health. Dr. Rardin is extremely professional, personable, easy going, incredibly knowledgeable and best of all he’s an amazing chiropractor. I am happy to say I am mostly healed from my injuries, have regained most of my range of motion, have a new clarity and just over all feel good. Dr. Rardin always does x-​rays before he adjusts you and we found that I had a major curve in my spine which is the main cause of my asthma. My asthma has cut down considerably and is steadily decreasing. I literally owe my health and back to Dr. Rardin. I recommend him for any person. He can help with any budget and life style.
