I have dabbled in some form of dance almost all my life(ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and now ballroom), and Fred Astaire Rancho Bernardo is my «forever dance home!» The staff here is simply wonderful – enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient – and they can help you improve your dancing whether you have never set foot on a dance floor before or are interested in dance as a serious art form. They offer a range of options: a handful of private lessons to prepare you for your first wedding dance, ongoing group lessons that will teach you the basics of a wide range of social dances, or private lessons to take your dancing to the highest level possible. The studio hosts fun parties and showcases, as well, and the whole studio has such a friendly, supportive atmosphere. It is a real pleasure to dance here and I look forward to coming every week!

I took the Beginners class last night and loved it. It has a great format and is followed by an open dance session. The instructors, Audrey, Tyler, and Joel(also the owner), are a great sibling trio who made every participant feel welcome and comfortable. We learned six dances and had a chance to practice with multiple partners. During the open dance session we got to practice what we learned. Ladies, in this class the men WANT to dance. If you want to learn to dance, have a good time, and meet a lot of nice people, this is the place for you.

Joel, Tyler & Audrey are an awesome threesome who teach ballroom dancing. They are personable and always provide a warm welcome when you enter the studio. They teach all the ballroom dance styles and at all dance levels. They will assist in helping you set your dance goals. My husband & I have been with the studio since July 2014. Most evenings you will find us dancing. It has been great fun and a good way to meet new people who have similar interests. Rather than watch tv in the evenings, why not come out and get a bit of exercise and go dancing? Come check out the studio and meet Joel, Tyler & Audrey.
