The lack of professionalism and concern in handling our issue we had at one of their events is horrifying.
My sister and I purchased a ticket package that gave you access to Monster Bash and Zombie Crawl for Halloween. First, we purchased the tickets from Gaslamp Event Management’s website. We followed directions on the site to pick up our Zombie Crawl tickets, and when we arrived no one would help us, and they sent us to the Monster Bash area (6 blocks away). When we arrived at Monster Bash it took an hour to get to the front, and by the time we did, the people working there had no idea what we were talking about when we mentioned our Zombie Crawl passes, and tried to send us back to the Zombie Crawl line (remember 6 blocks away). When we were inside the Monster Bash event, my friend was jumped and robbed. There was no security inside at all. We went to the entrance, and asked for help from the security guard and his reply was «Aw man that’s not cool». No help. We make it back to the Zombie Crawl line and they are closed. So for three people, we paid $ 100 per person for an event where my friend was jumped and robbed, and an event that did not give us our passes.
We tried calling the manager who is affiliated with Gaslamp Event Management (her name is Jenna), and all she had to say was that even though they did a cross-​promotion with Zombie Crawl, they fulfilled their end of the ticket purchase, and that it is too bad your friend got hurt but there were 60 security guards inside. Are you serious? That is your response to someone getting hurt and robbed at your event? Not to mention that we never even received our passes for Zombie Crawl. What is even more frustrating is that you have no idea who is affiliated with what event, and there are no names to contact on any website. Probably for this reason. Granted things happen that are out of people’s hands — but you can control your response as a manager. Horrifying.

I worked with this company on a promotional partnership for their Mardi Gras VIP program. The professionalism and enthusiasm displayed by the company was unmatched. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.
And given that I work with a lot of organizations for partnerships and cross promotional opportunities of varying sorts and levels, this review says a lot.
