Description

Specialties

Giovanni’s Trattoria is a newly formed business-casual, limited-service restaurant specializing in freshly prepared pies, salads, and specialty sandwiches. Giovanni’s Trattoria features a blend of high-quality, traditional Italian cuisine and American hospitality in a sophisticated, contemporary bistro setting.

At Giovanni’s Trattoria our core menu items: premium gourmet pies, calzones, and stromboli’s are hand made from family-owned recipes handed down over several generations. We pair this with excellent customer service to ensure your repeat business and word-of-mouth advertisement.

Giovanni’s Trattoria vision is to become the bistro-of-choice for our customers based on our ability to offer freshly prepared, high-quality premium pies and related products, supported by excellent customer service, all for a reasonable price.

History

Established in 2009.

Originally began as Pizza Station on the City College Trolley line, Downtown San Diego in 2007. Grew into an upscale quick service trattoria called Giovanni’s Trattoria.

Meet the Business Owner

Chris H.

Business Owner

I most cherish the concept of teamwork in all facets of business. I believe the results of an efficiently managed team are greater than the results of an individual. The key to success for teamwork is the fostered camaraderie and communication between the team and externally with vendors, business partners, and clients/customers. I expect teamwork to be comprised of a high degree of energy and spirit from each team member. No matter the goal, I believe the work required to accomplish the goal must be the same project-to-project or sales goal-to-sales goal.
