I would recommend Mike to anyone who needs HVAC work done. He did a whole HVAC replacement in my home and it came out better than I expected. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, fair and professional. His guys showed up on time, and did a great job both in removing my original system and installing the new one. I am very happy with my decision to use Mike and will be going back to him for any of my future HVAC needs.

They are very professional and was able to get my new place up and running with a completely new AC/​heating unit. Had to replace /​install everything new since the house was build in 1979 and only had force air gas heating. They said the job would take up to three days, but they were done by the end of the second day. Mike Gladstone was very friendly and professional. Even with his busy schedule, he was able to pick up all my calls and answered all the concerns. As a business owner, I know it is hard to please everyone, but Mike and his team went above and beyond. I am very happy with the work and would gladly recommend them to all my friends and families. Thanks again Mike!

Had to write a review for Mike because he’s amazing.
Our furnace broke 2 days before Christmas. I called a few places and they wouldn’t even come out for a few days. Mike came over THE SAME DAY and the next day, replaced our furnace.
He arrived ahead of time on both days and also finished earlier than he estimated. Who does that?!
Next is air conditioning and I’m using Gladstone for sure!

I just called this co & spoke to Mike. He is unable to help me with a fireplace issue but what a great guy!!! He gave me Reccomendations but most of all, he took the time to listen. If I needed heating & cooling, THIS IS THE PLACE I WOULD USE! Called for an estimate. Unfortunately, they were unable to help with the specific services I needed but they were still so helpful. Very honest, knowledgeable and still took the time to help walk me through processes and help guide me to help finding someone who was able to help me. It is unfortunate I wasn’t able to hire them. In the middle of a big heatwave, both our upstairs and downstairs AC units went out. I was dismayed at having to replace both units, as this was definitely not in the budget! I called the highest-​rated companies on Unilocal,and made 6 appointments to get estimates. Most of the people that came out were nice, professional, and qualified, and I was having difficulty making a decision on who to use. Then I met Mike Gladstone. Mike was, without question, the most knowledgeable person of the lot. I had told every person that came out the problems we had been having trying to cool down the upstairs master bedroom, and Mike’s expertise really came through. While everyone else just said, «a bigger unit should do the trick,» Mike suggested some changes (such as moving a register here, and increasing the size of a duct there) that really made a difference.
I hired Gladstone Heating and Air immediately because of Mike’s knowledge and expertise, and I was not disappointed. True to his word, they worked within my budget, and we were able to purchase larger, better units, for less money than the other company’s bids. Mike’s installation team did a great job, and best of all, the new units cool my house down in a fraction of the time that the old ones did. I don’t have to wait nearly 6 hours for the temperature to go down to comfortable levels — now it only takes 20 minutes!
A few weeks after the installation, I heard a noise coming from one of the units that concerned me, so I called Mike and asked him to swing by and check on it. He did the very next day — at no charge, made an adjustment, and the noise went away. For these reasons, Gladstone Heating and Air should be the first call for anyone who has issues with the heating or AC units. Trust me, Mike is the real deal. He provides fast, professional, exceptional service at a fair price, which is why I now recommend Gladstone to all my friends and family. In fact, when my parents AC unit broke down a few months ago, I made sure they called Mike. They did, and the Gladstone team replaced their AC unit as well. Bottom line, they get my highest rating and recommendation. If you are shopping for a heating and air company, I don’t think you will find anyone better!

I cannot say enough good things about Mike and Gladstone Heating & Air! I’ve waited several years before deciding to get A/​C. It was a bit overwhelming to say the least with the cost considerations and wanting to find the right company to do the work. I’m one of the «little guys» as far as project scale. But once I finally decided, I got quotes from some of the bigger companies, but found Mike and Gladstone to be a breath of fresh air. His pricing is very competitive to the bigger companies AND Mike goes above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. They found problems that were unknown when quoted, and fixed them anyway. And Mike took care of some things not fully planned for. This truly has been a blessing to me in so many ways! The attention to detail and professionalism is awesome! Mike Gladstone and his crew (Steve and Andrew) are about as professional as you can get with any company that one would pay a substantial amount more for a HVAC needs. We purchased a completely new HVAC system to replace in our home. Mike displayed a high level of professionalism from estimate through install. Not like most larger companies where you get serviced by a sales rep initially, and then never hear from them again. The installers were courteous and very mindful of their work. We have absolutely no regrets choosing Gladstone for our project and absolutely LOVE our new HVAC system! GLADSTONE ROCKS!

Hands down the best customer service and repair to my AC that I can remember. Andrew arrived at my home on-​time and ready to inspect and repair my 16 year old AC. With-​in 10 minutes he diagnosed a new capacitor was needed. After replacing he completely inspected the unit for any other possible problems, checked all the wiring and completed the entire service in about 40 minutes. The AC is working like a charm.
The service call and parts were extremely reasonable. If I ever have any HVAC problems or questions I will only contact Gladstone!

We had a complicated HVAC issue and not only did Mike come up with the perfect solution, but also quoted us a very fair price. Mike also was extremely gracious when unforeseen circumstances (on my side) interfered with the installation.
He made sure everything worked out well and I’ll be taking my business back to Gladstone when the opportunity arises.

This is my first time writing a review, but I felt it was necessary because I found this company through Unilocal and was really happy with their work. I used Gladstone to replace a old furnace and ducting, and to install a new AC system.
Mike and his crew were extremely professional and accommodating throughout the process. For example, Mike offered suggestions during his bid that other contractors did not mention, such as relocating the new furnace from a closet to the attic. This small change made the system quieter and gave us a new storage closet.
Most contractors are pretty good when everything goes «right», but the true mark of a professional is how they handle problems. During my installation one of the guys accidently damaged the ceiling. Don’t think this is a mark of carelessness — they crew was actually quite careful — but this was a complicated job and accidents inevitably happen to even the most careful workers. The reason I am including this story in the review is because I was very impressed with the professionalism that Mike and his crew showed in handling the problem. Mike and his crew went to great lengths to make sure I was happy with the results, and the entire installation in general.
If all businesses were as good as Gladstone, we wouldn’t need websites like Unilocal

Left a message several weeks ago regarding maintenance for my furnace in a townhome I had purchased, no return call. Tried following up with another call, no answer.

I am thrilled with my new HVAC system from Gladstone Heating and Air Conditioning! It works beautifully and looks impeccable. They even installed a Nest thermostat so I can monitor and operate the system remotely from my iPhone!
I met with multiple contractors before going with Gladstone. Mike Gladstone is extremely professional, kind, patient and knowledgable. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and accommodated my specific requests for a quiet, energy efficient system. His pricing is reasonable, less than most other companies, yet offers more services such as installation of the electrical circuits needed for the job (so I didn’t have to hire an electrician on the side.)
The crew, Steve, Andrew and Jake, were all wonderful — hard-​working, respectful and clean. They took extra care to place vents in the most beneficial and less visible places. Mike gave me progress updates everyday and oversaw the entire process from start to finish. He has extremely high standards and ethics and goes to great efforts to please the customer.
The crew cleaned up well before leaving and Mike showed me all aspects of the HVAC system and Nest thermostat. These guys are salt of the earth. They offer exceptional prices, service, skill and courteousness.
They get five stars and more!

My AC died a few weeks back (just before the 100 degree heat wave). I called a different vendor who charged me $ 90 for the privilege of showing up at my house. I ended up not feeling comfortable with them because they didn’t answer my questions well and didn’t quote me on the AC units I asked for.
I then found Gladstone via Unilocal,read the reviews, and gave them a call. I talked to Mike, who is the owner and apparently handles all the customer interactions. Simply put, he’s great, and he really understands that customer service is the key to these types of businesses. He completely explained everything that I asked of him. The pricing was about the same as the other company I had talked to, and there were no silly charges. Steve and Andrew did the heavy lifting, and all the work was top notch.
The only negative was that they are so busy I had to wait about a week for the install, but that’s what happens when you have tons of great reviews!

Great company! I called mid morning today and left a message about needing A/​C repair. Not only did Mike reply quickly, but was at my house less than an hour later. After a few tests he figured out the problem and had another technician pick up a part that was needed and come finish up the job. All said and done they got it fixed quickly and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be referring them to anyone in need of heating and a/​c services in the future!

I was really dreading to have a complete new HVAC system installed. Now that it is finished I am thankful that I used Gladstone. As far as pricing goes I got a few Quotes from a couple of companies. They all seemed about the same. I picked Gladstone because of reviews. The job was finished in 2 days. Gladstones Staff was neat and clean and English was their first language. Everything came out way better than expected. They even added 2 extra vents and a extra receiver at no extra charge.
The bottom-​line these guys are great not a complaint. Highly recommended!
