Hillcrest Vape Shoppe and Lounge is the first of three vape shops in the beautiful city of San Diego, CA. The shops were born with the mission to help people switch to a smarter alternative than the popular cigarettes which have caused deaths for countless years. This shop believes in supporting our communities; therefore, all of our juices are California born. Our history is defined by those we serve, and we are so excited to continue making history in this incredible industry.

This is the only place I will ever go to buy mods, atomizers, batteries, and juices. I was able to walk in ask for a battery charger, their top two juices, a new battery, and walk out 10 minutes later having everything I came in for. Thank you for your help guys. Been going here for two years now. If you need any help just ask for Melvin. He’ll treat you like family.

Took my friend here so she could get an education in switching from cigarettes to vaping. The manager Melvin was extremely helpful and patient with us as he explained different features and different kits. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone new to vaping!

Chelsea greeted me when I walked in. Extremely nice and super helpful getting me back up to speed as I’ve been out of the game for a little while.
Melvin did a fantastic job, effortlessly building me coils for my new RDA.
What really struck me was that she not only explained what was going on with my setup on a level I could comprehend with my current knowledge, but that both of the people that helped me today really wanted me to enjoy the experience, and furthermore do so safely.
Enthusiasts like this are really paving the way to the great community developing around the art and science of vaping.
I won’t forget this treatment, and it’s the reason why I drive 20 miles to Hillcrest Vape Shop and Lounge.

Chelsea completely took her time, walking me through each and every bit of terminology I was confused on, and helped me pick out exactly what was right for me. I would highly recommend this shop!

Yo, if I leave a review, it’s only positive ones and I gotta post for these guys. I went here specifically cuz I needed a 2nd opinion and their professional advice. I saw the reviews and thought they might be the dudes to help me out. I’m sorta new to this and they totally got me set up and confirmed on my previous purchase (not from there) what was up, obviously I kinda wasn’t sure if I got taken advantage of at the last joint. Also I was kinda sick of all the typical flavors as well, and my guy got me on this peach tea and hibiscus juice (I think it is), not sweet… just awesome. And way better than going to some head shop and some not so informative burn-​out sorta putting you in the right direction. Go here, they wanna help and get you set up. Thanks guys, I’ll be back for more juice fo… sho!

Great prices and product overall! Oli, the new store manager, really goes out of his way to please the customer. He’s always very polite and incredibly helpful. He’s the sweetest guy and will make sure you leave the store a happy customer. He’s also a wealth of knowledge! He’s great! This place is amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anybody! I had a great experience at Hillcrest Vape tonight! I’m from out of town and broke my tank while visiting the area! But Melvin and staff helped me get back up and vaping in a jiff .
Super friendly, knowledgable staff– very accommodating and welcoming. Melvin even chatted it up with my mom while I sampled juice! (Nice selection, BTW!)

This was the first vape shop I ever visited, bought my first mod from them and have been very happy with the service ever since. They always have a great selection of juices and mods and the staff is very helpful and patient. They always answer all my questions and put in the extra time. Ali, cort, melvin, and every other person I’ve encountered here are incredibly knowlegable about the products they carry. This shop is excellent for begginers and experienced users alike, I can’t recommend it enough.

Sorry I didn’t review you guys sooner, I’ve been coming here since you first opened the doors the service really sets the bar for any vape shop there equiped with a very knowledgeable staff and the products everybody wants from begginers to vetran vapers HVL has you covered. The vibe there is super chill makes you feel right at home with the music bumpin ps3 on the big screen an comfy couches to chill an get your vape on and a vape bar to test various flavors you might like. I highly recommend this shop. Ask for Melvin he’s the man…

I just now stopped by for some help with a build. I received exceptional service and to top it off the gentleman helping me didn’t charge. If I had any cash I would have given him a tip for sure! First of all, I don’t vape, but my best friend is a major user so I accompanied him to Hillcrest Vape Shoppe and was rather impressed by the customer service. The two dudes that run the place were super chill and extremely knowledgable about the vape business, mind you, I’m quite ignorant on this topic. However, my buddy is well versed with the «vape» lingo, so their conversation was interesting not interesting. Haha. Beyond all of that, the space is pretty chill with all the couches and bar type seating, all of which radiates a comfy lounge vibe. I don’t even vape and I had a great time just chillin. They have video games, magazines, and even a nice dog for you to pet. Haha! Happy vaping!

First impression, super chill and very knowledgable staff. Court/​Cort (sp?) helped me out with my assassin mod. It wasn’t hitting right so he taught me to clean everything to get rid of the voltage drop and also took out the floating pin so there’s direct contact with the battery which also increased the conductivity of my connection. Trevor was also cool, didn’t get to talk to him much but I plan on coming back! A little farther of a drive as I live in the PQ area but it’s worth it to chill with the staff. Thanks Abel for introducing me to a new shop I like.

Okay well first of all people i have never said i had fun at a vape shop before but i can actually say that i did this time! i was there for about an hour, Melvin helped my friend and i out the whole time he wrapped both of our mods cleaned them and did things that he really didn’t need to do. But we were both very grateful that he did and now we are vaping fat clouds. But besides that he was extremely friendly and playful very good vibes in the shop. I don’t ever do reviews on places that i go but i had to after being there! It was a fun time. Thank you for your help Melvin!
