Established in 2002.

iMatrix was founded in 2002 by a husband and wife web design team. «The company had a very humble beginning,» recalls Yamia Benhaim, Co-​Founder. «We were running a 2 man operation out of an 800 sq. ft. apartment. I sat at the kitchen table selling websites while Asaf did website design and customer support at the desk in the adjacent room.»

«It takes a while to grow the client base, and it was difficult to establish our brand in the first couple of years. Luckily our overhead was low,» reminisces Asaf Benhaim, Co-​Founder.

Today, iMatrix, a division of Internet Brands, Inc., has a range of marketing solutions designed for chiropractors, veterinarians, eye care professionals, and yoga studios. The company is based in San Diego, California.

iMatrix is the most amazing company. For a very reasonable fee they set up and customized my website for my new Chiropractic Practice. I found them very professional, prompt and up to date on what I need to do to have a successful web presence. When I dealt with them through email the answers were complete, and numbered so I could see that it was all there. When we were on the phone, the same was true. They were so kind to provide expertise in an area I don’t have time to study on my own.
If you need to gain a web presence quickly and professionally, this is the company to go with.

Getting set up and running was just about as smooth as it gets! Since I was born in the 1950’s my understanding of this is, um, weak. I can update it easily and it looks great. I was at a continuing education seminar and my EMR vendor was there. I needed some help with patient records availability online. (All for meaningful use attestation.) Get the EMR guy with the iMatrix staff and boom! Done. Seriously, Could not be easier.
For my fellow professionals, these guys take the web site off of me and that allows me to do what I love, which is practice!

First off I met Troy at a Veterinary Conference. He offered me a really great deal for their «starter service» and to build me a website. As a new business owner he appreciated my budget and they did a great job with it. A few months later he discussed a larger media package that included making a 90 second video. He said that I only needed to commit for 3 months. This seemed like a no-​brainer so we went ahead with it. However, when I tried to cancel the more expensive service (after 9 months) Troy no longer worked there and I was told that I committed to 1 year! I feel like it was a bait and switch and they refused to drop me down although they did drop me to an intermediate package. They promised to set my account to automatically drop to the lower service after the 3 months however the person that I spoke to was also going to be leaving! Staff turnover, to me, is a bad sign. I will have to see what happens. I highly recommend their starter service however make sure that you get any deals IN WRITING.

There are a lot of internet marketing companies out there to choose from. As a Chiropractor, there are countless choices with at least 4 big companies in our profession. Imatrix is one of the industry leaders. As a chiropractor of almost 18 years, I have been on the internet with a website, etc. for almost 14 and initially I went with another company. Their customer service became horrible and after 3 years, I switched to imatrix. Since 2008, their service has been excellent for me. I continue to utilize their full menu of services they offer. I also tell Chiropractors to use them as much as possible.
They are consistent with helping me post blogs, press releases, Google Ad words, Facebook and Twitter posts, newsletters. I send birthday greetings to my patients as well as personal newsletters of events and happenings in my office.
I have never found any issues with their phone staff or their customer service. There have been a few email outages here and there, but who doesn’t have that stuff happen. Call them up and talk to one of the reps. They will be honest and tell you how they can help you. It is worth the time and the investment.

The business I manage has been using iMatrix for the last year and we are very happy. We use them for website support, but not for social media (simply because we have a great social media person in-​house!). The new website skin is fantastic! It is 100% responsive and is now so easy to navigate on a mobile device. Most sites shrink to the point that they’re unreadable then you have to expand and move around. This fits to the page and gives you everything you need on one screen. The skins are somewhat generic but we use our own photos from the clinic which gives the site a very unique, warm and friendly look. The website is very easy to update, even for those of us with very little experience working on websites. The tech support is great. I always seem to be able to reach someone quickly and they’re friendly and helpful. They have given great advice on what we can do with our site to optimize our SEO and we get very good placement, always on the top part of the page.

I’m told that they want to create a better client experience for me but it happened again. No email service from yesterday afternoon until this afternoon. Which isn’t the worst part but No giving me a notification is poor service. I pay for email service so please notify me when you don’t supply it. When I called I was told the system was down and that they were working on it but had no idea when our email would work again. They said that they would call me when they had an idea. No call and no follow up. Thankful it’s fixed for now and received my email after lunch today. Communication with your clients must improve.

I have been extremely satisfied with iMatrix this year! The chiropractic office I work for has undergone some changes and Bonnie from iMatrix was an angel to work with. We just redesigned our website and we absolutely love it. iMatrix is ready to help whenever the time comes. Bonnie was great about getting changes sent in and communicating with me, sometimes the changes took a little while but it was never a problem!

I am very happy with my Chiromatrix website and working with Bonnie, who is an excellent representative with the company. She is very knowledgeable and has been very helpful in making suggestions on how to get the most out of my website. I am currently a Tier one customer and feel that there is excellent value and return on my investment so far. I have been a customer for a couple of years now and I like the fact that they are always upgrading and changing the look of my website. I still think they can improve with some of the add-​ons beyond the tier one as well as with the costs involved. I highly recommend their services to anyone needing a website in the healthcare field.

Horrible communication, every time I have tried to contact someone via email or phone it takes them a few days (if at all) to respond. Unfortunately there were too many problems to list here… their social media package is an absolute ripoff. They make 2 posts to Facebook (& same ones to twitter) & 1 to google plus per week & that’s it! And the posts were not engaging & not helpful at all to my industry. I had to delete most of them. They also don’t install any «make appt» apps, etc. to customize your Facebook page. They promised a refund of my initial investment on 2÷24÷14 & I still have not received it (4÷1÷14) after numerous attempts on my part. I would definitely not recommend imatrix.

So far so good with iMatrix! I started work with iMatrix about 2 months ago to completely redesign a dental office website. The implementation, execution, and follow up was phenomenal. The team knows customer service, and their backend tool is easy and intuitive.
We’re about 90% complete, with additional work needing to be done for SEO, Social Media, and some features I want added to the site. If all goes well with that implementation, I’ll add that coveted 5th star :)

Let me start off saying that I had great experience with the Website. That being said Imatrix talked me into Social Media Marketing and the only reason I tried it was because they did a great job with the website. Now I am a chiropractor and they posted content that was directed to physical therapy, health magazine, and other health website, not my website. One of the posting was a video how to prevent lower back pain with exercise given by a physical therapist from a physical therapy company site. I felt like i was paying to promote another company. I spoke with Darren which he made me feel inferior to him by speaking to me with internet verbiage which I have never heard before. I felt like I was back at Best Buy talking to the Geek Squad. They did refund my money with no questions but did so after making me feel inferior to him. I will stay with the website but never again will I sign up for the social media marketing.

This company is an absolute ripoff. I canceled the over two years ago after discovering the lack of support and horrible SEO, etc. Avoid them at all costs. They poached for clients offering great discounts for their in the can websites and I was suckered in. Now over two years later they tried to charge me a $ 695 cancellation fee. Horrible.

My experience with Imatrix has been pretty good. They are always there, they have a trained staff of professionals, and when they «reskinned» my website, it became automatically smart phone friendly. The prices are OK, you can spend lots more, or somewhat less for a site. The advantages to Imatrix is that they are used to dealing with Chiros, and your content. The disadvantages are that a more simple Wordpress site will probably be better able to be SEO’d, and may «read» easier. This compare/​contrast is less critical now due to their new format. Do you have someone that will be in business in a year, is a marketing genius, has amazing insights and produces a product for cheap? If so, use them. If not, use Imatrix. Check my site out, BTW. I am a Leucadia Chiropractor, I will be the only one under that search term. Hope this helps, I know the pain of building a site and maintaining it!
