My fiancé and I have been engaged since August and have, thus far, found the wedding planning process to not be nearly as much fun as we’d hoped. However, working with Kymberli at INK by Kymberli Parker has without a doubt been one of the biggest highlights of the process.
We decided to work with Kymberli on our save the dates, wedding invitations, and any other stationary needs we might need for the big event. She was really able to understand our style and the vibe we wanted to make for the wedding. She came up with a beautiful save the date that was very ‘us’ and was exactly what I had imagined in my head. When I saw our save the date in hard copy for the first time, I literally teared up with joy.
The customer service is remarkable, the quality is top notch, and the process is easy and fun. I found her prices to be affordable and in line with competitors. I would without a doubt recommend INK by Kymberli Parker to anyone and everyone who has stationary needs.

I was planning my wedding. Needed invitations and other products. I was one of the worst clients you might ever encounter. I was totally last minute Louie and I did not know anything about what I was doing. Kymberlie answered the phone. Was immediately reassuring, incredibly knowledgeable, business oriented with a tremendous service ethic. I cannot speak highly enough about her support and product! She came to my home at a time that was convenient for me and did a phenomenal job. Speedy turn around with tremendous attention to every detail. She had countless great options and helped me narrow it down so I could make great choices quickly. I am still getting compliments about the invitation. Despite being somewhat late in getting them out to our guests, they invites were so polished and made such a splash that people overlooked my tardiness! I’d recommend Kymberlie without hesitation. She also knew EVERYTHING about wedding planning etiquette. She answered countless questions and saved me hours of research. She is a joy!!!

I cannot say enough about Kym and her services! I had been looking for wedding invitations online for months when I decided to look on Unilocal.I’m a bride on a very tight budget and never dreamed I could afford the personalized services and the gorgeous invitations I received with Kym! When I called she let me know she did have something nice that could be made custom in my price range. I was shocked! Even better she came to me, to meet! She is so easy to work with and you never feel any pressure or that she is selling you something (which happens a lot in wedding planning). She obviously loves her job and made this stressful part of planning very easy for me! She even follows up to ensure everything went out without a hitch. I could go on and on about INK, I have never met Kym before that day at Starbucks but I know if I had question about something I could call her. That kind of customer service is rare these days.

Very nice shop! I needed some nice stationary to send thank you notes to colleagues. I called in advance to confirm they carry what I needed. The very friendly lady who answered the phone explained the variety of options that they have available.
When I arrived I was assisted by a very nice young lady. She showed me a variety of options to suit my needs, including some items that she pulled from the back that hadn’t even been put on display. I find the owner and employee are very passionate about what they do. I really don’t have a lot to compare to since I don’t buy a lot of stationary, but I have to say that I feel like I received products worth every penny that I spent.

Kymberli is FABULOUS!!! Loved working with her and Leorah to create my dream wedding invitation. When I first came in I had no idea what to expect or what on earth I was going to do for my wedding invitation and honestly very stressed out with all of the wedding plans. Kymberli greeted me with a huge smile and a warm friendly personality. Not only did she help me with creating GORGEOUS wedding invitations and day of items she gave me advice and support throughout the whole wedding process. I would HIGHLY recommend using Ink by Kymberli Parker! LOVE THEM!

AMAZING!!! I’m an attorney and recently found myself having to get some new cards. I had no idea about the process. Kymberli sat me down and walked me through all of the card stock options, lettering types and also did a good job of applying her design skill to creating the exact look and feel that I was looking for. The difference between my cards and a vista print card is very obvious and the price was reasonable and well worth it.
I’ve had my cards for about a week now and the first response from everyone, as I hand them my card, is very complementary. What’s nice is that I’m not prompting anyone; it has all been in the context of a business interaction as I’ve casually handed a prospective client my card. I originally purchased a box of 100 but plan on buying about 300 more soon. I highly recommend!

I recently graduated from law school in San Francisco but wanted to have a dinner for my San Diego friends and family. I knew there was only one person to call — Kymberli Parker.
First, Ink made my graduation announcements and invitations. With six separate parties, my order felt like a lot to handle. Kymberli assured me it was not a problem. I told her I wanted something simple, yet elegant. She hit the nail on the head the first time around. The invitations were PERFECT. And when I wanted to invite more people to one of the parties, Ink was able to order and ship more announcements immediately.
Then, the dinner. Kymberli organized the entire thing. With all of the stress of graduation and the other five parties, I could not be more pleased by the ease with which the party came together. Kymberli didn’t miss a single detail and everything was perfect.
Kymberli knows what she is doing. She is no-​nonsense, professional, honest, and regardless of how busy she may be, she never misses a detail. Come babies or weddings or any other event, Kymberli will be the first one I call!

I have been ordering Holiday Cards from Ink for several years. What started as just a way to check in with friends and family during the holidays has now turned into a fun project of style, design, and excitement each holiday season. Kymberli has made the process of ordering cards seamless for a person like me that can be a bit of a perfectionist as well as obsessed with presentation!
The feedback I receive from friends and family always warms my heart. Kymberli helps with everything from the message on the card, design, dimensions and specifics to give to the photographer for the family photo shoot, assembling, and did I mention she called me while in line at the post office to pick up stamps for me?
Although I consistently come in every year for holiday cards, I also look forward to popping in the store for cute party invitations, pens, and calling cards and personal stationary.
I have never written a review on Unilocal,although I reference all reviews when searching for restaurants, retail, etc while traveling. I was encouraged to write this review after reading the unfortunate experience of another Unilocaler. :(

I visited this store once a few months ago and I’ve never had a desire to go back. I wasn’t there to buy wedding invitations; I was just excited to check out a stationary store near Peet’s, my favorite coffee place.
The store layout itself is clean, orderly and minimal. The products are varied, cute and funky, the customer service is … good if you’re planning on spending top dollar on expensive wedding invitations and crap if you’re not.
I walked in and was greeted with a hello by the owner who then went about her business, which is cool. I don’t mind being ignored because I don’t like being smothered either.
I was looking around the shop, eyeing everything in great detail because I am a staionary junkie. In the meantime, the woman took a personal phone call and when she’s on the phone, she talks LOUD and the acoustics of the open space aren’t helping.
She then gets on the phone again, has another loud conversation and then when I look into this other part of the store (it may not exist anymore) with high end designer handbags and stuff like that, she yells in my direction «Excuse me, can I help you?!!» I told her I was just looking around and thought that this room was part of the store. She got off the phone and then explained that she had started a high end consignment resale shop but was thinking of scrapping it soon and that the store was open by appointment only. Then after checking me out, she gave me the okay to look at the stuff. I think she was afraid I’d try and steal something. To each his own, but to be honest, that high end stuff was way too ghetto-​fabulous to 1) merit the prices she was asking for (wise move on scrapping the consignment store!) and 2) risk marring my perfect record with a shoplifting charge.
In spite of it all, I didn’t want to waste my one and only trip to this store, so I bought a gift for a friend. As soon as she rang me up (with fake friendliness), a couple walked in to check on their wedding invitations.
And then things changed. The way she greeted them with such over-​the-​top, LOUD enthusiasm, you would have thought they were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (or Jean-​Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir if you don’t read People magazine). I’m from LA and that makes me an expert on fake friendliness. This was adoration, near worship, ass-​kissing at its best — loud, full of hyperbole, and only lacking a few high-​fives to top things off.
So, the bottom line is. .. if you require premium, unadulterated ass-​kissing from your wedding invitation vendor (and for that kind of money, you really SHOULD), then this place really delivers with a cherry on top. If you’re not and you’re just into stationary products, then be prepared to lower your expectations.

I was in such desperate need of finding the perfect stationary set and she had the perfect french box set! She also gave me a sneak peak at the fancy stationary that’s in trend and gave me 10% off for being the first to buy it from her!
She’s super friendly, creative and plays pretty bomb music when she wants to get into the groove of things!

I’ve been a customer of Kyberli Parker since 2007. I’m also an architect and have been exposed to design my entire life. Everything Kymberli touches looks and feels amazing. Her abilities are magical. Anything involving the art of making the world a better more beautiful place, I trust Kymberli.

Just wanted to give Kymberli a shout-​out for her wonderful products and amazing customer service!
I picked up a gorgeous set of blank place cards from Ink a couple of weeks before my wedding, and proceeded to return to the shop twice more in the next three days, as I obsessively practiced my calligraphy and used up place cards (perfectionism at play… I kept thinking I could rewrite them better). Kymberli was highly professional, yet friendly and personable each time I returned. When I realized I’d miscounted my guests and needed yet ANOTHER set, I emailed Kymberli to confirm the store hours and let her know that my (then) fiancé would be stopping by to pick up the cards, since I couldn’t. She responded promptly and enthusiastically with the information.
When my fiancé came home with the wrong color place cards, I called Kymberli in a panic, as the store was about to close for the weekend and, with my wedding so close, I was running out of spare time to drive to Hillcrest and back. Kymberli actually took the correct set of cards and dropped them in the mail to me that same day, and emailed me shortly thereafter with a UPS tracking number. She saved me time and stress and took it on good faith that I would return the unused, incorrect color placecards after my wedding and honeymoon, when I had more time.
Definitely good faith there (p.s. Kymberli, I’m back in town and will be returning the cards shortly!)…she was a huge help and made my experience much more pleasant than it might have been. If only everyone I worked with for my wedding needs had been so helpful… the planning would have been a breeze. Thanks to Kymberli! :)

Looking for my daughter’s wedding invitations seemed like a such daunting task! After doing a lot of research on the web and reading reviews I made an appointment with Kymberli Parker of Ink. From the first moment of meeting her my daughter and I knew we were in good hands. We needed guidance but also a person who would really listen and get the bride’s vision. She helped my daughter narrow down a selection of styles and and together they put together a beautiful linvitation plan for her dream wedding. The result was perfect and was more then what the bride had envisioned. They are very lovely, classic, original and eco-​friendly. Most of all… they set the right tone for my daughter and future son-n-law’s most important day! The time we spent with Kymberli was delightful. She is super warm, fun and very creative. She is very professional but very comfortable to work with. We never expected to enjoy this type of appointment so much. It made the upcoming wedding seem even more exciting and elegant then ever!
Kymberli also has great follow-​up and makes sure everything is done on time and communicates with her clients constantly. No stress and worries which was so important to me (the mother of the bride).
I am looking forward to working with Kymberli of Ink in the near future for more invitation and stationery needs.

I went to India Ink in search of paper to make my wedding invitations. I was a little reluctant, thinking that as a specialty stationary store, they would really try to sell me on their invitation design and production services and be completely uninterested in helping me since I wouldn’t be spending half of our entire wedding budget on invitations. I was completely wrong! Leeorah (sp?) walked me through the Envelopments paper system and offered terrific advice throughout the process and was a great sounding board for my ideas.
I have gotten nothing but compliments on my wedding invitations and the process was truly a personal expression and creative outlet for me. The cost of the envelopments system was extremely reasonable and had amazing invitations well within our initial DIY budget. Thanks to India Ink for giving me the tools for this fun, fun project!
With service this personalized and excellent, I can only imagine how amazing the process would be for their design and production services. Kimberli, the owner, has such a positive and fun personality. Every time I walked through the door at India Ink, I was greeted warmly by name. I look forward to going into the bright and friendly store every time. I will be back for more paper for all my wedding stationary (programs, table names, place cards, etc.) and any future stationary needs! A bonus in shopping here is that it supports local small businesses. :-)

I’ve been a regular customer of India Ink Papers for the past couple of years. Back then, I serendipitously (i’m obsessed with nice stationery) stumbled into their Little Italy location and was greeted by the refreshingly fun, delightful, and professional Kymberli.
Since moving to the University and First location, I’ve been in there at least three or four times, and always leave with armfuls of unique, witty, letter-​pressed stationery. From individual cards, to correspondence cards, to thank you cards… they have the coolest selection of shwag around.
Oh. And they were just named the best Stationery Store of 2010 by San Diego Magazine.
So to the bitchy brides-​to-​be with their horrible reviews of poor customer service I say: TCHAH! Go harp on your poor husbands/​wives and leave the Fabulously Fabulous India Ink Papers and Kymberli to their wonderfully fine work!!!

I procrastinated searching for the perfect wedding invitations for months. I would casually look through those reedonkulous books at other stationery stores and came away underwhelmed and unable to find anything I wanted within my budget.
My wedding coordinator (Red Letter Days) recommended India Ink Papers and pretty much saved my sanity!
I came in one day right when they opened and was able to talk to someone about invites. After a brief tour around the store I found exactly what I wanted. I was worried about my budget (and actually went over– but my invited were FABULOUS), but they were very helpful and offered lots of options to keep the costs down. I just wanted the pretty metallic papers– price be darned! :-)
Since I waited so long to order the darn things I was kind of on a short time frame. I had no problems getting my invites in time and they were beautifully packaged by the shop.
I tried to order my thank-​you cards through them but there was some sort of mix-​up. I thought the lady was ordering the cards (since they were out), but when I came back when I was told to return, they never ordered my cards. So that kind of ticked me off– but I found thank-you’s elsewhere.
My invites were great, though. I was married in 2008, so my review is very tardy!

–Not very big, but very cute store!
–Fun, unique selection of stationary and papers.
–Parking wasn’t too bad, had to drive around the block a couple of times.
–Unique card selection. Lots of neat things to look at.
–I bought items in here on impulse, because it was so cute.

In need of personalized invitations for my parents upcoming 40^th anniversary surprise dinner, I was sent to India Ink… and couldn’t be happier! The staff was incredibly helpful, worked with me to find the best option to do a custom design for a small quantity.
The store is delightful, with a great mix of stationary that I definitely plan to seek out for further needs e.g. thank you’s, parties, baby showers, etc.
It is so wonderful to have the option for the personal touch when you want to go above and beyond your ordinary Target brand items.
I highly recommend!
