Stay away from this company when shopping for your next home loan! I worked with Jarrett Hicks and received horrible service. He brokered to Fremont Bank and my loan closed over two weeks after the promised closing date. I got charged hundreds of dollars in rate-​lock fees due to their inability to close a loan. Additionally, Jarrett has subpar communication. I would not hear from for multiple days to weeks at a time while my loan just sat idle. He would avoid calling me and additionally when confronted would put all the blame on me for items not getting done. Avoid this company for your own sanity and for financial peace of mind.

We are at risk of losing the home we love and the wonderful woman selling to us is at risk of losing the home she is buyiing because of delays in our loan application process. We keep making plans based on our being told the loan is 24 – 72 hours away, only to be repeatedly told one more document is required of us.
Follow up. The loan came through but only after we put a review up here and the delays had cost us and the people we were buying from money. Suddenly the «one more document» was no longer necessary.

Run! Jarrett Hicks lies. This company does not care about anything but their bottom line. They do not disclose fees until it is too late to make a meaningful choice to change lenders without losing your earnest money.
