Geri D.

Business Owner

Geri Dimeglio, owner and head dog trainer at It’s Amazing Dog Training, believes in using positive reinforcement to help owners and dogs develop a feel good loving relationship. She teaches owners how to understand their dog and how to communicate in a dog friendly way. Helping dogs that exhibit behaviors of reactivity, fear-​aggression, and anxiety are some of her specialties. She loves to problem solve and help parents create a behavior modification plan. Achieving a happy and livable balance between owners and their dogs keeps her thinking.

Geri grew up living with and training dogs in her family as well as those of her neighbors and friends. For the past 10 years she has concentrated on helping rehabilitate rescue dogs. With her own dogs, she has competed in obedience, agility and rally.

Geri is a certified trainer and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
