I had a very good experience the last time I went through the drive thru, not only was the food good and fresh the lady working the drive thru was very polite and got my order to me quickly and accuratly. The employees name is Dasia, she was very kind and made the experience worth going back for.

I LOVE this location because it’s ALWAYS open late, also they have a walk up window for people to order if they’re on foot.(Awesomeness!) Be aware that if you go here at 2am this place might be Slammed. Both with cars and people on foot. Overall great staff, convenient, and always great for late a fast late night bite.

I always regret going to this place. They always get something wrong about the order. One time it’s the drinks, or the other time the condiments. This time however, it was a bit worse. The lady didn’t close the lid of my soft drink properly which leaded to a major spill on my clothes and car; so dissapointing. The extra star is just for preparing my chicken strips(which are more bready than chicken) fresh, as well as the curly fries being pretty decent. Wating for your food is better than food that waits for you after all.

I come here often about 1 – 3 times a week. When you come that often you know how the food and service is and you remember the workers. The service isn’t perfect everytime I come nor is the food but today was bad. You have more than on person talking to me on the intercom and you can’t make out what I’m saying. You get my order wrong and yes I gave you attitude who wouldn’t? Pull up to the window and notice the guy was acting unusual. Paid and left. Food BURNT. Fries BURNT. Crispy chicken sandwich was now BURNT chicken sandwich. Wow. Very mature workers at Jack in the Box. Why leave a review for a corporate fast food chain? In hopes of one day the dumb Mexican kid at the window will read this shit.

Messed up the order twice and then when you call to notify it’s like trying to talk to my 11 year old son

This was the worst experience I have ever dealt with on the El Cajon Blvd. Jack-in-the-Box. I came in to buy some food but before I bought my food I needed to use the restroom and wash my hands. I asked the lady to open the door she did not want to open the door till I bought something first I told her ma’am great but I am urinating my pants and I’m about to buy something right now so please open the door. She says no. I was shocked and I have my disabled placard paper in my pocket and show her im disabled and need to use the restroom before I buy my food to enjoy it. A Man crosses the street and waves his hand to her and she opened the door, i immediately walked in behind him used the restroom and then went to the line to buy my food. She has a smug on her face. This person is Leticia who is also the assistant manager who refused to give me the managers name. I am tired of all the high and mighty power trip of people and for her to DENY me a disabled person with PROOF is a travesty!!! I plan on calling a few media channels and I will BLAST this all over my Facebook page as to how rude this place on El Cajon blvd is

Jack in the Box is doing something right because whenever I am in North Park and getting tipsy, no matter the distance, I immediately come here for some tacos! This is one of my favorite outside-only locations. I would expect creepier activity around here but surprisingly, there is little. Also, for an outdoor-only Jack in the Box, the place is kept fairly neat. The service is alright and you get what you pay for here. The quality can always be better and though it rarely gets too chilly in San Diego, some outdoor heaters would be nice. Overall, Jack in the Box is a great place to go to sober up for cheap and the bottom line is that you pay for what you get, which is both good and bad. Still, if you’re a Jack in the Box fan, you’ll like this store.

Just left this place about 10 minutes ago. Guillermo was very rude. I simply tried to ask him if the military discount applied to veterans(because many only apply to active duty) and because I didn’t have a card(even after I told him I wasn’t asking FOR the discount) he basically stopped listening to me and shut the window in my face while I was still talking to him! He also shut the window in my face when I picked up my food. Will never come to this location again and will continue to go to the Hazard Center Drive location where they are very friendly. I should’ve checked the reviews before coming, I see they have a reputation of being unpleasant. So glad to have served a country where they shut windows in your face while(respectfully) being asked a question about something the store is advertising.

Service was quick and good, and food wise well… It’s fast food, but like many other many other fast food chains some locations taste better than others. With that being said, no complaints at this locations.

This isn’t so much for food but the service. I went through the drive tru and James was the guy working. He was just awesome. Nice in a great mood friendly helpful and remembered everything I asked for. The true definition of service with a smile. I picture people working Christmas to be pissed off and grumpy not him he was awesome!

I love jack in the box tacos so it’s always the go to spot when I have no clue what to get for dinner. Knowing it’s a fast food place I don’t expect the best customer service but it’s what I always get here. The guy with the dreds and tattoos at the drive through it one of the most polite food service workers I’ve dealt with. I work in customer service so I appreciate someone making a little extra effort to make my experience great. Thanks guys :)

Never did I think I would be leaving a review for Fast Food BUT, the other day after I was driving out of the drive thru I said to myself, «That’s it, these employees deserve an applause and I will do that with a super positive Unilocal!» I don’t know what changed that has turned this place into first class customer service but keep doing it whatever it is! My last few visits I have been nothing but satisfied with the customer service via the drive thru. Each employee I have come into contact with has been polite, happy and upbeat. It’s like there is a new energy at this location and you have a sense that they are really enjoying themselves. Nothing phony about them either, genuine to the max! Good job everyone!

Ordered the blazin chicken sandwich tonight, no jalepenoes no onions and it looked like the chicken had been sitting under a heat lamp all day, completely bone dry. The guy working there is the same one who screwed up my order the last two times. Hopefully the issue is just him and not the store, but I’m done with this place until they get rid of him. Don’t go here!!!

It’s close and convenient. Who doesn’t love curly fries and a chocolate shake at 1am? Having a 24⁄7 place for food around the corner isn’t always a good idea, but I love their shakes over any other joint. The teriyaki chicken bowl and chicken pita are the more healthier options I enjoy. The staff is nice and have never gotten my order wrong. The breakfast sandwiches are good for soaking up the previous night’s discretions as well.

UPDATE: So check this out! The otehr day we waited 20 mins and 6 seconds in the drive through because these people are so slow. Our car started to over heat so we had to forget our order but we came right back parked on the street while my man looked at our car I ran to get the food and of ocurse I was appalled and told the people they really need to get on the ball and how upset I was being in the drive through for 20 mins. THATISADSURD! I will be calling the corp office because my mom used to work for food maker. Those ppl in the back should be fired because none of them do their job right. When I went up to the window they are all just sitting around gossiping about their relationships. Ugh, so this is the only close JBX close to my house. Walking distance even. But this has got to be teh worst one of them all. They have only gotten my order right once. Every time I go here they screw something up. It’s quite annoying. The service isn’t all that great either. It’s very fustrating to kno0w that people who do not know how to read, write and speak english are working customer service these days. I’m all for everyone having a job but if your going to live and work here you had better speak english. My most recent order was a medium curly fry, med coke with easy ice and a chicken sandwhich with EASY lettuce because they always over do it and extra mayo. Got the bag when we started off in the car and the sammich had teh exact oppisite of my instructions. Extra lettuce and NO mayo. People it’s so simple to read the recipt and the order on the screen inside. I do not understand why these people have such a hard time doing this other then the fact they can’t read english. It’s fustrating. It’s not just JBX it’s all fast food services. We need to hire people that actually speak the language not just give any person a job. They need to be qualified.

Fail. The thing I came here for specifically(tacos) was not in the bag when I got home. They remembered the hot sauce, but not the tacos. I’m so sad and disappointed.

I was up very early and decided to walk over to our corner JITB for the Breakfast Jack with Sausage. I was in the mood for a guilty pleasure. It was still nice and hot when I got home and I was surprised that it was a decent size(about 4 inches in diameter) and the sausage patty went edge to edge. Had a little bit of a spice kick but not overwhelming. Very tasty & filling. For $ 1.69 it was a good deal. Walk-up window service was fast & friendly.

It’s Jack In the Box so it’s not high quality, best of the best food, but there are some perks to this location: 1. They give a lot of hot sauce for those cheap tacos. As in 8 – 10 packets. I like the hot sauce, so glad they don’t skimp. 2. The staff is always friendly and always ask me how my service was. 3. It’s a big menu for those craving something greasy and fattening. There is a lot on the $ 1 menu and the strawberry milkshakes are really good. I can’t gush about fast food too much but when I need a taco fix(and these somehow are some of my favorite guilty pleasures) then this is the place I’ll go.
