Blast from the past. I thought the food was great. Had onion rings, which could have been hotter but were good anyway. I also had there double cheese burger with bacon, really good. And I had a chocolate shake which was terrific.

I haven’t been to to Sonic in quite some time and a friend of mine was talking about going to one. I found that this location was the closest to where we were located at the time so we drove here. The place gives you the option of parking and ordering outside, going through the drive thru or finding parking and ordering inside. There are a good amount of places to park and order outside. The drive thru is a bit tight and seems like it’d be somewhat of a hassle to drive out of and the inside seemed a decent size to order, sit and ha e your order taken to you. Since we were waiting for another person to join us we opted to wait inside. The inside was nice. They had some booths and televisions to keep you entertained. The lady at the counter, Rosa, was super helpful and always had a smile(even though I took forever to figure out what I wanted). She waited for my friend and I to figure out what to order and even changed part of my order when I found something else that I wanted. She smiled throughout the whole thing and had wonderful customer service. The other Car hops were quick, smiled and made sure our orders were correct! Now for the food, it was ok. Nothing too spectacular, but for the service I didn’t mind. We had jalapeño burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches(for some odd reason the chicken tasted sweet to me), fries, tatter tots and cheese burgers. I will say that their shakes were good and loved their tatter tots(not too greasy!)! Overall, not a bad place, especially with great service.

Each time I come here, the drive thru takes 15 – 20 minutes. That is the opposite of the point of a drive thru. I would’ve left if I wasn’t blocked in. All three times I was disappointed by the taste and price of the food I’ve ordered. The last time they were also out of small cups and made me pay for a larger size than I wanted. I’m done giving the interesting menu the benefit of the doubt.

What keeps me coming back? Their slushies. I’m not a big fan of their food. I love their slushies and the fact that I can them them cheap during happy hour or their morning drink stop.

Thanks Sonic! I’m turning a negative experience into a positive one. Thanks to the outstanding(NOT) service I received a few months ago I swore off fast food for a few months. Thanks to that and a new workout plan I’ve lost 16 pounds! Hmmm…maybe your marketing department can spin that into a weight-loss campaign. You’re welcome. ;)

The shake was a great deal at 5 bucks for a large, however, the deluxe jr. cheeseburger was on sale for 79 cents and was a huge disappointment. Perhaps because of the promo they made a bunch up in advance. I will be back for the shake.

..cool old school feeling. Loved the classic chicken sandwich, double cheeseburgers and the chili cheese bacon ranch footlong hot dog. Everything was great! Ive been once before but we only ordered off the value menu. The bigger stuff is better. Lots of food for your $$. Great service from Tay btw!

The burger was juicy, the fries were cut nice and thick, the Oreo shake was smooth and creamy, and the Coke was perfectly sized. I’m glad I finally went.

Horrible place! Smh! Food was cold and customer service was horrible! Workers playing outside instead of working… no wonder why my food was cold!!!

There’s nothing inherently special about this Sonic, it’s just you’re typical fast food chain location. What gets this Sonic an extra star is the staff here who always seem cheerful and helpful. Gone are the high school and college kids miserable while trying to save up for a car. Here come the high school and college kids who are slightly less miserable while trying to save up for a car. Something about being served food while modestly being cheerful makes everything taste a bit better.

The food tasted like a pile of salty garbage. If I ever desire that type of food, I’m going to save myself a trip next time and eat out of the dumpster outside my apartment.

Definitely one of the better San Diego locations. The food is always hot, drinks are great and they rarely mess up my order. The reason for the rating is the wait times can be very long.

Mt first time at Sonic. ½ off cheeseburger today $ 2 instead of $ 4 and small fries for $ 1.29 were good prices. Food is so so. Cheeseburger bigger than McDonald’s and has more stuff inside but not necessarily better and would not have been worth $ 4. This location has roller skate delivery to your car service and order and eat under car ports, but only a few did because it is hot. Roller skates in the inside to deliver your meal and call out your name but it echoes. You cannot see the kitchen when you order at front desk. Fun for kids probably. Great it is has breakfast all day. Likely will not be back.

The shakes are really good. Many different kinds of flavors and possible to combine as well. After 8PM the shakes are half off, and they have something going on for in the afternoon with their lemonades, but never tried those. As far as the food goes, I think the cheddar chili peppers are interesting, but I will pass the food next time. This place is especially nice if you wish to bring visiting foreigners to the place to see how dining in works along with the roller skate service. It’s a funny experience indeed.

You’ll think this location is not bad… until you find a better one. I don’t have Sonic locations near me in NY, so it’s not too often I am able to get to order from any Sonic despite seeing the commercials constantly. So I ended up here since I was in the area. The lot is clean and there were plenty of spaces. After being haunted by the TV ads, I ordered the cheesy bacon hot dog with the pretzel bun and a few others things for my fiancé and my child. So first thing, the hot dog was nothing special at all(found out at a later Sonic that this one was just made very poorly). They got my fiancé’s burger wrong not once, but twice. Ok, so I know that certain states like to put mustard and/or mayo on their burgers instead of ketchup, but from where I come from it’s ketchup ONLY. To each their own, but when we request ketchup or at the very least NO mustard and NO mayo, I expect that simplicity to be honored. But here, it’s apparently difficult to follow that. Plus when a person requests no cheese on their burger, it shouldn’t be that difficult to understand. But here it apparently is. We called the waiter back to replace the burger the first time and after getting it wrong again, my fiancé decided to go inside herself until it was made right. I can understand that mistakes happen — but twice? Especially when the first time the exact order was viewable in the screen before we paid. I will say that despite serving poor quality hot dogs and messing up the order twice(including an extra burger we didn’t order) the staff here was very friendly and tried to be as accommodating as possible. I’m, not sure who prepped the food, but the waiter, waitress, and apparently the manager inside were very nice, pleasant, and apologetic over the incidents. Despite that though, I won’t be returning here — there are better Sonic locations out there. Locations that will get your order correct the first time.

Expectations aren’t high when you go to a fast food. But this is the worst sonic ever. Unfortunately the only one close to my home. 75% of the time they get my slush wrong. This last time it took them 4 times and they made me re-pay for the last one. And if you bring it up they tell you that you ordered it wrong and say something like«for future reference…» They claim they can make thousands of drink combinations. But for some reason they are incapable to make mine successfully. My drink is a cherry lime slush HALF syrup. The only person I blame for this is the woman taking the orders. I ALWAYS re ask…” I want to make sure there is only half the amount of syrup please” and she always reassures me. But it still takes 4 drinks later. So who ever worked at 12:15 on 7⁄16 that took my order… Your communication sucks!!!

I’ve had Sonic hyped up quite a bit; I had to try it. I went with a L combo Chicago-style coney, tater tots, and a Brownie Bliss Blast. The best part of the meal was the Blast… tasty, sugary delight, with great little brownie chunks… perfect, just what I wanted… Tater Tots(Very hyped)… light, crispy, and… not a ton of flavor… Ok, whatever, it’s a compatible side to the hotdog. The hotdog… meh… so, it was a footlong with chili cheese on top… there wasn’t a ton of that chili cheese, but when there were big coverings of it, it wasn’t very tasteful… … other face food joints do it way better. On the flip-side: — ample drive-up space at 10:30pm — quick, friendly rollerskating service — lots of food and beverage selections — ordering via drive-up space Maybe I’ll try another location in future.

I’m not sure what can be better than a yummy Banana Cream Pie milkshake at half price! This isn’t a spot I frequent often, as my waistline won’t allow me to, but when I am in the mood for a milkshake, this hits the spot. The staff is friendly, and I love seeing people on skates! So cool!

My experience here was not great, but it was not bad as well. I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with Tater Tots and ice tea. The burger was alright and came with two quarter pound patties that were a little dry and needed more seasoning. The beef flavor okay, but it just was not as juicy as I would of liked. The burger came out rather quickly, which I can’t help to think that the patties were pre made and kept warm. The un-fully melted cheese was also a dead give away. The bacon was good and came crispy on the burger and the bun was soft and moist. The tater tots were pretty good and they were not as greasy as I thought they would be. They were crunchy with soft center, I would order these again. They were great eating with the ketchup of course. Service was upbeat and my iced tea was even refilled by one of the servers that came around on rollers. I ate inside at this location and the girl at the register was friendly enough.

After surpassing the initial grand opening rush, Sonic is holding steady with its superior customer service. The employees say: Have a super Sonic day! and I think they mean it! Half price drinks during their happy hour(2 – 4 p.m.) are perfect for when I need a fix for my cherry limeade craving. Upon a recent visit, the limeade had been victim to flat carbonated water, but was quickly fixed upon request. Our service was prompt, friendly, and they even upgraded our drink size as an apology for the mistake. I enjoy places who put mayo on their burgers, Snickers on their waffle cone sundaes, and melted cheese on anything you ask. I will say I miss the soft, pellet ice of Sonics I’ve loved before, but kudos to this drive-in who held on when the lines were crazy for people who really, really had a hankering for fast food.
