I am a newbie to ocean swimming and I wanted a triathalon wetsuit.
Adriana was fantastic. She did not try to sell an expensive suit. She also helped me put it on and explained basic maintenance techniques for my wetsuit.
She will also repair your wetsuit if damaged.
As a small business owner Adriana is passionate about serving her customers, stocking quality merchandise and supporting local vendors.

The owner, Adriana, was extremely friendly and helpful. She let me try on multiple pairs of goggles and had really great advice. She goes swimming in the cove every morning and is excited to have new people join. I hope to join her for a swim soon!

Best swim/​shop in La Jolla. They were so helpful and hospitable. Walked in, immediately assisted, and ready to snorkel in no time. She even watched our dog for us while we went snorkeling in the cove. I rarely write reviews because I’m lazy, but this one deserves it. If you’re in the area, this is the place to get suited up.

I have been to this shop a few times, first to by small swim supplies like goggles and caps. I was really pleased with the customer service last week when shopping for a new athletic swimsuit for surfing and ocean surfing. Adriana did a fabulous job helping me work through sizes and styles to find a few suits that I was happy with. I look forward to shopping here more in the future!

Great store in the heart of downtown La Jolla with very reasonable prices. Adriana, the store’s owner, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The store’s selection of swim and beach products is extensive. So, our town is fortunate to have Adriana and her store serving the community and its visitors. I showed up at La Jolla cove for a swim this morning and was totally intimated by the ocean. I spotted a small group of swimmers donning their wet suits and went over to ask for advice. It turns out one of the swimmer was Adriana, the owner of La Jolla swim and sport. She swims daily in the cove. I got a personally guided 1 mile swim and nature lesson. Adriana not only has a business in town but is obsessed with the preservation of this beautiful area. La Jolla is lucky to have a business owner like Adriana.

This is a great store, was able to find what I need from Adults to kids with a great variety. I bought a pair of swim shorts for laps at the pool but have a gear variety for beach wear and wet suits. Very pleased with the customer service and care factor they have to help you find what you need along with a good knowledge in what they are selling.

Walked into this shop looking for a new pair of goggles. Adriana, the owner, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She must have opened up a dozen different goggles helping me find the ones that fit me right. It’s always a pleasure to shop at places with this kind of personal attention. Super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. A good selection of wetsuits for all activities (DeSoto, Xterra and Aquasphere for any triathletes yearning for an open water swim). Tons of swim wear and stuff for the beach and snorkelling. Overall a pretty cool little store. Thanks for helping two Brits get into the Cove!

Great place to shop! My family and I went looking for swimsuits and found exactly what we needed. The fit, style, and comfort were perfect. The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about her store we felt spoiled by the attention. We’ll be sure to shop there again!!! Thank you so much!

My fam and I came in late in the day and she not only got snorkel gear in our hands within minutes, but for less cost than the other guys and even allowed us to return them a little late. She was so personable and helpful! I will definitely be back next year!

Great owners. Stopped in to buy some snorkeling gear. Being a beginner I didn’t want to spend $ 200 on all the equipment I needed. Spent $ 40 and it worked just the same. I asked where to eat and she gave me some great mom and pop spots to eat. She really knows La Jolla. Wet suits are at a great price to. Cheaper than on base, which is hard to do. Small shop, but a pretty good selection for all ages. Ill be going again soon. And make sure you pet her dog.

Thanks Adriana for setting us up on our vacation. With three kids (which means three sizes) and limited time, I was amazed at how quickly she was able to help me get set up and ready for the beach. Adriana knows La Jolla like the back of her hand and also gave me tips and advice on where to go snorkeling, swimming, and where to park, etc. Her store has amazing selections, the items are of high-​quality and durable w/​o compromising on style, and the prices are fantastic! Our first stop, we were set up with bathing suits, snorkeling gears, beach toys for the whole family. And when we needed wet suits for surfing a few days later, we came back knowing that we would all get what we needed at the store. My kids are still enjoying the wet suits and snorkeling gear — but in the pool now! The ladies’ swim suits and swim wear are not to be missed!!! I will return soon as I hear that there will be more new items coming into the store. And my kids still want that scooter…
