Dave did an amazing job installing my new kitchen backsplash tile! His prices are fair and he is a really nice and honest guy. Dave was very tidy and cleaned up each night before he left. I highly recommend Left Coast Tile & Stone and will use him again!

We’ve used Dave for many years now. Over the course of the last 5 years, he’s remodeled 2 complete bathrooms/​showers, tiled my entire downstairs flooring, updated 2 fireplaces, replaced my kitchen backsplash, and most recently, re-​grouted my spa and replaced missing stone. Dave is a natural problem solver. He’s sharp, hard working, and we feel like he makes us a priority. He is super dependable and trustworthy. His work is beautiful. His attention to detail is unmatched. The other builders/​contractors who worked with Dave in my home now hire him for their projects. He’s diplomatic in a room full of subs. He is conscientious, clean, and very organized. He is also a great communicator. His pricing is fair and I would say, an excellent value when it’s all said and done. You get more than you pay for.

Dave was great. He was clean, communicated well and did a great job with my backsplash. He even came back on a Saturday to reinstall a few glass tiles that decolorized (not his fault). I would recommend him to anyone.

I had a very positive collaboration with Left Coast remodeling my bathroom. Dave was professional, communicated well, and always showed up on time. Dave was happy to take suggestions to help achieve my vision, but also smart about laying out tradeoffs that come along with particular design decisions.
Dave did all the tiling work for the remodel himself and had very good attention to detail in this part of the work.

Been meaning to leave a review for about a year now.
Dave was an amazing contractor with excellent communication and rapport. He went above-​and-​beyond for our kitchen tiling project, and found an ideal underlayment for our unique situation. He also did our entry-​way tiling. In each project, he discussed the layout options and their advantages/​disadvantages.
His pricing was quite fair, too (not our cheapest bid, but far less than the top bids coming from large remodel companies).
We still have remodeling projects ahead, and Dave will be one we look to first.

We were very happy to have found Dave to help us with our bathroom renovation. His price was very fair and his work was excellent. He was very willing to work within our tight schedule. He completed the job from demo to completion in two weeks. Dave was a very calm and considerate presence in our home. He kept the mess down to a minimum and was very understanding of keeping doors and gates closed for our animals. I felt very comfortable leaving him in the house while I went to work. We will definitely recommend Dave to friends with renovation projects and we hope to have him work on future projects in our home.

We are so pleased with the work Dave at Left Coast Tile did for us! We had two showers and bathroom floors retiled which came out looking amazing! Dave is super professional and his prices are really fair. He is great at communicating and just an expert at his craft. We asked him to do some pretty intensive design work which required a lot of extra cuts and attention to detail. We were so thrilled with our new bathrooms, we hired Dave to tile our front patio! We give Left Coast Tile & Stone a 5+. Can’t say that about most contractors!

I am so happy we ended up choosing left coast tile for our bathroom remodel project and kitchen backsplash. I got a couple of different bids from several companies but bids were received late, appointments were shown up to late, etc and that does not vibe with me well. After dave came by to look at our job we received a written bid within 48 hours. The price was reasonable in comparison to the others. He gave us advice while at the same time allowing us to choose the design. It is a little nerve wracking to choose someone to rip out your bathroom but Dave made me feel confident in his abilities every time we met to discuss the job. He was confident in offering advice while at the same time allowing us to make the ultimate decision. We needed advice since this was our first time working with tile. Strangely the other bids did not make me feel like they would guide me along the way like left coast did. When I requested photos of his previous work I received 50+ photos the next day. We also wanted the job to be completed while we were out of town and Dave made it happen. He worked on Labor Day so that the job would be completed upon our return. That really meant a lot to us since we only have one bathroom! During the entire process he kept us up to date by sending us photos. I was nervous about not being in town in case there were issues but he put any of my worries to rest. I have never ordered tile before and he helped us with exactly how much to order and recommendations on places to shop at. Every single appointment we had with Dave he literally showed up on the dot, very punctual. In the world of contractors it can be difficult to find someone with good organization and communication skills. He also clearly has lots of experience because our bathroom turned out perfect! I pay close attention to the details and so does Dave his cuts were meticulous. I posted some pictures of the finished work. He went above and beyond to complete the job on time and to our specifications. Highest recommendation!

Dave at Left Coast Tile was amazing!
I called several contractors when I was looking to redo my ugly 1980’s tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. Dave came out the next day (Friday) to do an estimate and then apoligized that he wouldnt be able to get me the estimate until Monday. As if I expected him to work on estimates over the weekend! He arrived promptly, and took his time to walk me through everything. He asked me a ton of questions and explained all my options to me. I didnt know anything about tile and had no clue there were this many things I had to make decisions on. Dave even offered to meet me at the tile store to help me pick material.
He wasnt the lowest bid I received but you have to have a good working relationship with your contractors, and I felt the most comfortable with him. Dave showed up in person every morning (and right on time) and updated me everything that he was going to do that day. It means alot that he showed up, I’m not sure if he’s the owner but it was great to attach a face to the company; he took the time to meet with the homeowner every morning rather than just sending his crew to get the work done.
The crew cleaned up after themselves, and other than having a beautiful floor, you would never have known that anyone was there!
One more thing, I accidently wrote a check for $ 100 more than the price of the work, and Dave pointed it out. This just shows how trustworthy Dave and Left Coast Tile are! I highly recommend them to everyone

Dave did a bathroom tile job for us a couple of months ago, and we love it! He rushed to get it done in time for our new daughter to arrive — which is why we haven’t been online much till now :-) He was very professional, prompt and the tile is very detailed and came out beautifully! He also took the time and effort to thoroughly protect our wood floors and rest of the house while he and his crew were here working! We highly recommend him!

We couldn’t have been happier with Dave’s work. He remodeled our bathroom (old fiberglass bathtub transitioned to tiled walk in shower), and did so with such attention to detail. Both he and his helper Jesse were wonderful (and very pet friendly!) and did the job very efficiently.
