We specialize in art portfolio preparation for entrance into animation and video game design programs at top art colleges. We offer classes in figure drawing, environment layout, vehicle sketching, painting, background design and visual development.

History

Established in 2015.

When I was growing up, there were no classes in design for animation and games. Even though I wanted a career in the arts, I had no guidance and felt that such a career was not possible. I ended up studying engineering at UCSD because it was a practical major and that was what all my friends did.

Having no mind for math, I quit half way through the program and left school. It wasn’t until later in life that I met other artists who taught me that such a career was possible and how to do it. With a new found vigor I enrolled at Art Center College of Design, graduated, and started work as a designer.

Looking back I felt that if I had the right mentor, it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. Because I don’t want other students to make the mistakes that I did, I started this school as a way to mentor aspiring artists and designers who want to succeed and have a career that they love. Careers take time to build and smart decisions early on have tremendous effect years later

Business Owner

Alex has a BFA in Entertainment Arts at Art Center College of Design and has worked in the gaming and animation industry. His work experience includes TitMouse Animation, Red Robot Labs, Brain Zoo Studios, Crowdstar Games, Pixar, and Warner Bros. Animation.
