Soon much fun! I almost feel guilty using a Groupon… almost. ;) Bri is a wonderful teacher! Super positive energy and just the right tone for someone like me who rarely gets out of the house. Trying to check off my bucket list and this was on it. Not intimidating… OK… maybe a little. .but, you totally get into it! Very easy to follow and super satisfying being able to take your piece home. Can’t wait to do it again. Telling everyone I know!!!

My girlfriends and I had such a great time hanging out and painting with Bri! Her class was fun and the venue was great. We are definitely going back and bringing the boys next time!

We will definitely do it again! Brit was so helpful and really accommodating! We had fun and we learned a lot from her. She was so patient and very encouraging. I usually organize a night out with my 5 sisters-​in-​law. I’ve been thinking about of something different to do this time and saw this perfect deal at Groupon! None of us had painted in the past so, we were all excited about this class! Bri, our instructor’s very knowledgeable, patient and very approachable and accommodating! It’s amazing how our paintings look like they were done by a pro. They turned out to look almost exactly the way the model painting is! Thanks to Bri’s patience! The place (Swami’s Café) offered good food and drinks. We all had fun and definitely will be doing this again soon! If you want to learn how to paint in a fun, casual and relaxing way, Wine and Palette is the way to go!

I would definitely come back! Bri has a great personality & very accommodating! She will make sure everyone is on the same page before she jumps to the next stage. Not even judgmental on how horrible my painting was… It’s a creative zone ;)
She even went above and beyond to switching our painting night to «Starry Night». That’s great customer service to me. She makes sure her customers are pleased before, during & after our painting session.

I have no artistic talent, but with the help of Bri, I left with a beautiful painting! She’s very patient and had great tips for beginners like me! Any picture (even if it looks impossible) is possible with Wine and Palette. They even guide you through any possible creative ideas you might have, like color or picture changes! I painted at o’Bistro Café in PB and the food was great too. It was an amazing night — will definitely paint with them again!

Went to my first art class tonight and really enjoyed myself. The instructor, Bri, does a very good job explaining what she is doing while she is doing it which makes it easy to follow along with. I intend on attending classes in the future, great for going with a few friends and seeing what each of you create, or a girls night!
Bri goes a perfect pace and offers individual help as well, even if you don’t think you’re an artist, you will leave with a beautiful painting under her instruction. Highly recommend.

Wine and Palette has a number of different location which was a big factor in helping us choose. South Bay, downtown, north park and more.
Try to pick a location with happy hour specials or check on corkage fees and bring your own.
I can’t wait to come back and bring more friends. Would also be a great date night and they do private parties!

We raised $ 200 for our chickens through an Eggcellent Fundraiser hosted by Bri at our farm! We all left feeling so proud of our rooster portraits! Will organize another fundraiser with her again!

Bri Atterberry was an awesome instructor. She was super patient and helpful. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone :)

I was excited to find a company in San Diego who does painting and wine nights like the ones I had tried in Orange county, and this class was just as good! Bri was an amazing instructor and even before I had signed up for a class, we communicated on Facebook after I had been admiring the paintings other classes had done. I used a Groupon and took my sister to the class as a gift, the only issue we had was the class schedule as we needed something on the weekend preferably in the early afternoon. This made it difficult to find a class that worked as very few are placed on a Sat or Sun per month and also have a good painting and are reasonably close. We made it work and I am really happy with our choice and the quality of the class. The venue wasn’t perfect, but that stuff can be left on a review of the café itself.
Notably, I liked that this was a smaller class size than what I’ve seen with other companies. There were about 10 – 15 people in the class and this made it easier to have one on one time with Bri if you needed some extra help with your painting. Her choice of music was also awesome for the class and you are encouraged to sing along if you so feel! It’s a fun experience and I highly recommend this company to go through if you are looking to try out this «painting and wine thing» that everyone is doing! I’ve read reviews of other companies and I must say I’m disappointed in their notification/​cancellation policies, and I haven’t seen anyone run into issues with Wine and Palette. Book your class with Bri and go enjoy some wine and art!

Creating lovely memories with my friends. We were all hesitant and wanted it to be «perfect». The instructor helped everyone feel comfortable and confident. The result was beautiful and unique art, just like my friends. Wine, art, friends, relaxing. Definitely worth it.

Let’s start off by saying this is probably one of the most relaxing things you can do after a long day at work or whatever. I did a surprise date night here and we have a fun time. Bri is a GREAT instructor and just so funny and easy to get along with. You really feel like you’re having a good buddy teach you about painting and making it just so fun and creating a great overall experience.
I’d definitely recommend this to anybody who wants to try something new and have fun. Don’t worry about those thoughts in your head that say «Oh, I can’t paint. I’m not artistic» etc. It’s really not about that. It’s about having fun and genuinely learning something new. and Bri is so wonderful with that!

I had such a great time painting today. Painting, wine, and food, couldn’t ask for anything better. Will come again as soon as I can.

This was my first time painting (at least as an adult) and I loved it! My friend got a deal through Groupon and invited me, as she knew I wanted to try it. We found a class at Uptown Tavern. I was a little apprehensive, as I was afraid my painting would come out pretty abstract, but I found that I enjoyed the process so much that I didn’t care how it came out. Our class started at 7 so we were able to get there early to take advantage of the $ 3 wine happy hour deals. It is good to come into the classroom a few minutes early and reserve seats so that you can sit with your friends. Our class wasn’t sold out so we had no problem. I loved that we had a server coming in to bring us whatever we needed: water, wine, and appetizers. The artist also had an assistant coming around to bring us more paint.
There are several different artists that teach this class. Ours was helpful and walked around to offer suggestions and answer questions. I think it would have been better if she had taken a little more time between each step, with shorter gaps of time in general. So, for example, I would try to make a design right after she did (for fear of getting completely lost) and when I looked up, she had already made several more designs, but then there would be a large gap of time to let everyone catch up. Some of the group wanted to use different colors, and they had a hard time getting enough paint of each color.
In general, I was very happy with the class and definitely plan to return. I didn’t leave with a masterpiece, but am proud of what I accomplished for my first time and really enjoyed the experience!

This is my first time. Class is very fun and relax. Teacher, assistant r so friendly, fun, and helpful. I did some mistake on my canvas and teacher helps me to correct it. Thanks you so much teacher Bri. An assistant Diane will help u to refill paint, change your water and give more napkins for you to dry your brushes. She, Diane, is very friendly and helpful too.
It is a great experience! I can’t imagine that i can paint such a beautiful masterpiece. Definitely, we will be back. :)

Had fun hanging out with my BFFs and having a night off from the kiddo. I am not artistic at all and found it very fun and able to do.

I found Wine and Palette on Groupon, and they had a great deal for a class at Uptown Tavern so my boyfriend and I went. Uptown is a fun place already so it was nice to have all of the painting stuff set up for us when we got there.
All of the instructions and the instructor was great! I got to paint at my own pace, got some advice here and there, and have fun which was the most important thing. You also get to go home with something that you can remember the event by which is so fun!
I would recommend trying something like this out.
