I just completed my BLS, ACLS and PALS renewal with Mike and Kahlil. They made the day a stress free learning experience. They were both very knowledgeable and were able to elaborate on topics in a way that it was easy to remember. Thank you guys, I will see you in 2018 for my next renewal!

I came here for a BLS renewal 2 weeks after my BLS expired.
It’s definitely the most affordable option in SoCal area (I’ve checked) by far. Other places are usually around $ 50 – 60 for BLS RENEWAL (!) with $ 15 required textbook purchase (as of Oct 2015). This place was $ 33 with no textbook requirement (I have mine from my initial course but they allow you to use their textbooks free during the course), and you don’t even need the textbook. Seriously, I just took notes on mine. They teach you what you need to know, and you are definitely prepared for the test at the end of class.
I was the only one who showed up for this class (the other person bailed), so I had one-​on-​one time with instructor Renata, who works in the ER. It was really educational, and she was able to answer all my «real life/​what if» questions realistically. We were done in under 2 hours.
I remember seeing something about getting a $ 10 discount off if you wrote a review on Unilocal or Facebook, but they don’t seem to have it anymore. Hell, I’m so pleased with the service and THE PRICE that I don’t even care about the discount anymore. 5 stars :)

I organized ACLS and PALS classes for our nursing cohort. They were very helpful in organizing dates that best fit our schedule and also got an awesome group discount. Both the ACLS and PALS classes were great. The instructors were friendly and made a point to make sure everyone understood the concepts. I love their simulations because they are an excellent way to practice our new skills.

I renew my ACLS class here 2 months ago and it was an awesome experience. The instructor was great, she’s very informative and thorough (sorry I forgot your name). I like the fact that they have many classes schedules to choose from; as a busy mother of two toddlers and working night shifts, time and days are very limited for me.
I just finish my NRP renewal skills few hours ago and same excellent experience! The instructor (Mike?) was very informative and thorough. After each simulations, I like how he went through with us about what we did wrong and how to correct and or improve on it. He also acknowledged what we did well on. And when we have addition questions he’s glad to go through it with us.
I also like that the instructors for both classes don’t make me feel intimidated at all. It can be really nerve wrecking during the simulations. Maybe it’s just me because I’m pretending that a code blue/​code white (pink) is really happening.
I highly recommend this place for ACLS/​BLS/​NRP/​PALS they are truly the cheapest in town and the instructors are awesome. They also provide you with coffee and snacks at their facility. FYI: you get your ACLS/​BLS cards the same day. NRP will be mail to you.

Took both ACLS & PALS here and the instructors, Nicole & Mike, were awesome!!! They made the classes fun and made ACLS & PALS easy to learn. They have the best prices too in SD. I would definitely go back here for recertification!

I came here a few months ago for my ACLS and I have to say it was a great learning experience. The instructor did an amazing job in preparing us to use these skills in the hospital setting.
Just came in to take PALS with Mike and he was very clear on all information. He was very detailed and very informative in making adjustments.
It also very nice of Life Support Academy to provide coffee, tea, and snacks.

I’ve been looking for a place to renew my ACLS and this place is the cheapest one I’ve found so far. They also have a a few classes offered in a month so you don’t have to wait a month or two before scheduling. I love that you also don’t have to purchase books in order to take classes and i got my card the same day. I’m actually scheduling my NRP from them.

I’ve renewed my BLS/​ACLS through Life Support Academy and was highly satisfied! The smaller class size was beneficial and felt very one on one. Instructors were patient and informative with the material, assuring that everyone understood what was being taught. I will definitely use their services again!

Did PALS with Mike. He was awesome. He explained everything, used a lot of graphics, etc. The class itself was very informatic

Really great PALS class with Mike! It was really organized and very straight forward. I liked the mnemonics, it made everything more simple. He went at a great pace where you can understand and ask questions. The cases really helped and I feel a lot more confident practicing my skills in the field. They also take care of you here by providing snacks, coffee and pizza for lunch! Overall a great class!

Mike was such a great instructor for PALS! With as much information there is to swallow, he really spelled it out for us in an organized and easy-​to-​understand fashion. I didn’t struggle having to understand the information, algorithms, or memorize drug doses. He gave us the exact information we needed and didn’t deviate off topic.
He was also very personable with a friendly demeanor making the class more comfortable to take. I highly recommend this class for those needing the certification in the medical field.

Great class and awesome deals for students! You can do your ACLS and pals in one weekend. Plus you can get an ekg certification for free with certain weekends, check their schedule :)

I’ve renewed my PALS, BLS, and ACLS here and they’ve done a great job! The instructors are knowledgable and friendly. I was the only one that showed up for the ACLS class and they still were still willing to teach me. I highly recommend this place. PLUS they have free snacks and coffee.

I recently took my ACLS certification class here and it had an overall positive experience! My instructor was Miguel who works as a RT and he was awesome! He reviewed all the important things we needed to know (ekg readings, meds, and key points) before we did our mega code. There were different schools in my class from PLNU, National, and Kaplan and we all encouraged and helped each other out. I highly encourage this place for your certifications! Great price, great staff, and great learning experience! :)

Life Support Academy made my ACLS renewal such a great experience. My instructor was thorough but still taught information in a way that was enjoyable to learn. He also filled in with information that was not necessarily in the manual but helped us remember the concept. How many businesses nowadays say «call or text anytime» on their webpage banner?
