Douglas Bush and Zim Jumani founded Computers Etc., a small company concentrating on computer sales and service. By 1994 the company began to shift its focus toward computer training and away from sales and services. In 1996 the company was renamed Computers Etc Software Training Center to reflect its new mission.

The owner is a certified Microsoft Office Specialist (Master Level) and QuickBooks ProAdvisor with twenty years classroom training experience. He is the author of several computer-​related articles in ComputorEdge Magazine, was interviewed on KUSI Channel 51, and featured in a San Diego Reader article. Since 1992 his company has provided hands-​on computer training to over 16,000 clients, including many major corporations and non-​profit organizations.
