History

Established in 2003.

Manny V started taking groups down to Cabo San Lucas for his annual bodyboarding trip, Cabo Freak Fest. Now, 12 years strong, Manny V has put all his passions of wave riding into his tours and photos. Bodyboarding, surfing, SUP surfing, any wave riding vehicle are all welcome!

Aloha and buenos dias amigos. My name is Manny Vargas. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to travel the world as a professional bodyboarder through the 90’s. Along the way, I watched how my professional photographer friends worked and used their camera. Today, I’ve wrapped up all the greatness of some of my favorite trips and offer them all to you in a worry-​free surf tour package. Plus, my years of photography will come along for the ride as well. You will walk away with your entire trip documented for you to share with friends and family. In some cases, I’ll call upon my fellow photographer friend to help out on my larger groups. Yes, his photos are included as well. Damian Davila is the man in Baja and will be ready as well.

Not only is it gonna be a while before I come down off of this adrenaline high… from today’s EPIC SUP (stand up Paddleboarding) SURF session!!! My shout outs, respect, and overall gratitude towards Manny Vargas with #mannyvtours has been raised! If you are thinking about getting surf, SUP surf, or body boarding lessons for you, your kids, anyone… This is the guy! If you can’t tell… I just had an experience of a lifetime and caught my first few waves on a paddleboard… Videos and pictures from his crew will follow! I’ve jumped out of an airplane and have always enjoyed thrills… And today just got added to that list! Thank you Manny and crew for this experience… Look forward to the next time!

What a great experience! Manny takes the stress out of a girls weekend in Baja surfing. Even though it’s probably like herding cats for Manny, we all feel safe, well fed, and surfed to our limits. Let’s do it again! And the photos BONUS!

Over the past 10 years I have been able to travel with Manny Vargas. Specific locations such as Indonesia, Cabo San Lucas, Costa Rica and Northern Baja. He has made my traveling dreams a reality and I would recommend his tour packages to anyone. I traveled alone on his trips and I was able to make so many good friends along the way. Manny Vargas is professional in and out of the water and offers best waves and food any country has to offer. Enjoy his tours and take full advantage of it.

Had such a wonderful time on Manny V Tours and the Baja Weekender to K38 (Rosarito, Mexico) this last weekend.
As someone who has been scared to cross into Mexico, Manny V Tours with its all inclusive itinerary took the worry out of everything including where to surf and access to those breaks, and including food, to the point I had the best worry free weekend vacation ever. And in addition, I got to see a small bit of Mexico and surfed some of the best waves I have surfed on the west coast with professional surf pictures of me to prove I was there.
I highly recommend Manny V Tours for your surf safari so much, I will be returning to Manny V for Baja without question and plan to check out other destinations as well.

Manny and Damian rock! I’ve been to Mexico a few times for surf trips but ending up sticking to the same break, it was awesome to have locals show you the best breaks for every condition. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable and helpful (they did all the grunt work so we could be lazy!) they’re also ridiculously fun! They weren’t just tour guides, we loved hanging out with them and now I definitely consider them friends. Highly recommended for a worry-​free, super rad surf trip!

Manny and his crew are the best! I have been on multiple trips with him and they have all been great. He sets up everything and has contacts that ensure everything goes off without a hitch. I would definitely recommend him to new travelers and seasoned travel veterans. Keep up the good work Manny!
