When i looked this place up on the Unilocal app I didn’t realized it was a food truck. So when I arrived at the address I was surprised and almost left. The truck it’s in pretty good shape and Clean. They have a few tables and chairs on the side if you decide to eat there. The customer service it’s great. A nice lady greeted me and took my order. I ordered a large shrimp, octopus, and oysters cocktail. My girlfriend ordered two fish tacos. Since i was having seafood and it was a great sunny day I asked the nice lady if they sold beer and she told me that they did not but suggested me to go to the store next to the food truck to buy it. So I did and brought to enjoy my cocktail. Both the tacos and the cocktail were delicious. The large order was just enough and it was accompanied with a delicious ice cold beer. Later on i found out that the nice lady that greeted me was the owner and that her husband was inside making the food. This made me realize that the food is constantly good Since the owner operate the food truck. I will definitely come back to this place and try more of their delicious seafood.

I love this place! I usually get the fish or shrimp ceviche and 2 tacos, which cost about $ 5. My biggest complaint with many of the other taco trucks in the area is the lack of meat in the fish and shrimp ceviche, Mariscos is the exception!

And so this is how it goes. The most amazing little gemstones are always hidden in plane site… in this case under the flight path of Lindbergh field tucked into the corner of a liquor store parking lot. You read that right. Like all great food trucks, half the fun is just finding this one. Whilst I live for street food, I’m not normally to keen on seafood from a truck… but oh. Oh my. My oh my. This is the spot. Straight up San Felipe style mariscos. Try the fish taco to see what fish tacos should taste like. Better still, have the gobernador… a shrimp, grilled vegetables and cheese taco that will haunt your taste buds. Eat there or take it home, but this is the only place that can scratch that itch. No other mariscos will hit the spot. While you’re there waiting for your order enjoy the free cup of broth. Excellent apéritif…

So good. Used to go down to IB for a fish taco truck fix. This is right by my work and I just now tried it! Sorry I didn’t find it earlier!

Sundays after church, my family goes out for fish tacos, and this Sunday we tried this truck for the first time. The shaded seating area was good, and the staff was kind and patient as we ordered 14 tacos, 1 quesadilla, and«7, no 6, no 5,» soups. The tacos and sauces were what we expected from a San Diego fish taco truck. Good, tasty, and 2 is plenty. But I still had to try the quesadilla. For some reason that’s part of my quality test for a taco place, and it was good, but could have been a little more well done, and — I am not complaining about the amount of food — a little too much cheese in the middle. Too much cheese, to me, makes it a little too moooshee. But, what do I know? I’m just a guy who likes to eat.

A seafood taco truck. I went thinking this was a restaurant, but I am pretty game The fish tacos had fish straight from the fryer. Nicely battered they were little puffy morsels. Unfortunately they didn’t have much in the way of taste. They really needed to have been salted before frying. There was definitely fish in them, just didn’t taste like it. The cabbage was nice, but the sauce didn’t add much. I tried the squeeze bottles of sauce and glass bottles of salsa too. All fine, but nothing amazing. I’ve been to lots of taco trucks, so I have some context. The fish ceviche tostada was nicely tart. The ceviche seemed fresh and had good texture which contrasted with several creamy and chile encrusted slices of ripe avocado. Very nice Will I go back? If in the neighborhood and hungry. Will I recommend it? Probably not

So, I live smack in the middle of amazing tacos shops in South Park. Theres alot of competition out there. Back in the day there was only Benny’s down the street. I have to say, each one of these places around here have something great, BUT, this mariscos truck is spectacular! I ordered a X-Large Pulpo cocktail and 2 fish tacos. 22.50 total. I was there around 1pm, a little lunch crowd and my food took about 15min or so. All I have to say is be patient it’s well worth the wait. I will def be back for the oysters on a half shell! Downside: the prices are not available on the menu.: /

Great fish tacos at a good price. Super friendly folks. Glad to see them behind Miller’s Market. They drive off around 7pm sometimes, so I’ve missed out during a couple later evening fish taco cravings. They always offer a cup of some kind of broth like soup, which I don’t really care for, but my wife seems to like it.

Good food trucks are a dime a dozen these days, and luckily for me, this was one of the good ones. I ordered fish taco and a shrimp taco as well, both were battered and fried. They also offer grilled fish tacos, I learned later, which I would of had instead, but they are not on the menu. Both tacos came served with a light white mayo based dressing and with fresh slaw and a scattering of diced tomatoes and onions( ). The fish taco was great. The batter with crispy and the fish inside was succulent and tender. The Shrimp taco was good too, but the batter could of used just a wee bit of more time in the fryer to crisp it up. The shrimp inside were well cooked and tender( ). The corn tortillas were good, but I would recommend, if they can afford it, to double up on the tortillas because the tacos had a tendency to break under the weight of ingredients, especially the sauce. The offer a cup of fish broth with every meal, which I did not partake, and they have seating available next the truck. They are located as of 1÷3÷15 in the Miller’s Market Parking lot. Nice people too… on the upper end of 3.5 stars.

this place is not the same as Mariscos in South Park. I asked the lady working there and she said they are not associated with Mariscos in Gala parking lot. That said burritos here are solid but nothing spectatcularl. I had both shrimp and fish one. The tortilla is on a thin side and can break. The shrimp and the fish are tasty but they add too much cole slaw. I prefer Bennys than either Mariscos but if too lazy to walk to Bennys I will get burrito here.

Hungry after a Costco run I searched for a nearby place for lunch. So glad I opted for this hidden gem! I had 2 fish tacos and a mix seafood cocktail. Fish inside the tacos are deep fried and garnished with all the right stuff. The Mix seafood cocktail was loaded with tasty shrimp, clams, octopus, etc. and was delicious! While I waited they gave me a complimentary cup of soup and even though we’re in a humid and hot weather pattern I still gladly gulped it down my gullet! I’ll def. return when I get a craving for legit mex. seafood!

This place was very good and clean! Usually food trucks have all condiments just laying out, attracting nats and other nuisances, but not this place! Their lime & onions are in an enclosed area. The food was very good. I’ve been to another food truck near by and this one beats them hands down. The complimentary soup was delicious. The fish taco, gobernador, and shrimp ceviche was all very fresh & tasty. The staff is friendly but why knock down one star? It is cash only and they don’t list their prices which I feel is important. I kind of felt ripped off but I’m not sure. Listing the prices makes it more transparent.

Excellent fish tacos breaded and nice sized can’t go wrong will be very happy here. I love the fact the food tastes so authentic and fresh like Rubios but even better and larger. I don’t understand how they can charge $ 1.50 for a breaded fish taco that is that big and that yummy. The grilled fish taco is $ 3.50. Haven’t tried anything else because these are so yummy.

I love this place. I often come here after walking my dog and the line is always smaller than the one in South Park. I often get the fish tacos and carne asada tacos(it’s not on their menu and I believe it’s 2 $). If you’re a fan of spicy salsa, their habanero salsa supplies enough heat to make your mouth water but yet it’s still providing much needed flavor to their dishes. They always welcome you with a cup of their soup so make sure to give that a try as well. I have to admit that I wasn’t complete supporter of Mexican food and taco shops before I moved to Golden Hill, but places like this has made me a fan. I haven’t ventured outside of getting their tacos but I definitely plan on doing so soon.

This place brings back memories of the authentic and delicious seafood I’ve had in my beloved Mexico. Their tostadas, ceviche, tacos, soup, quesadillas, EVERYTHING here is delicious. So fresh and flavorful. The thought of their ceviche makes me salivate. Yumm… Customer service is impeccable. I have honestly not met friendlier people who are genuinely happy to serve their customers. This place is an absolute gem. I’m addicted!
